LTE Frequencies supported by T805W (Canadian)? - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've had a look in google but cannot find this anywhere.
Does anyone know what frequencies in the LTE/4G bands are supported by the Canadian T805W?
I also seem to remember reading a thread where someone had managed to access the service menu and enable all the frequencies on the device, including ones not supported as standard or did I dream that?
Lastly and I'm just checking to be sure does the T805W support voice calls or is it crippled?
Thanks in advance.

No Canucks here eh?

Not sure about the band, but voice call is not supported.

Found the frequencies over here: http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_tab_s_10_5_lte-6235.php

Yea, unfortunately that is for the T805, the T805W appears to have specific restrictions in place that's why I was asking.

No voice calls on my t805w on Bell

Request: Carrier specific boards

well, baisically what the title says... Some carriers have specific issues, this would make it easier to locate the information.

That would be a good idea.. But think about it.. If people have a problem with their device not being able to connect to Orange, as an example, they will propably write in their devices forums and not the carrier forum, as they maybe won't know that it is a carrier based problem, but thinks it is device based..

"Update for HTC Touch Pro2 Enhance the stability of SMS"

HTC has released an update for the Touch Pro 2 which "amends the internal management of SMS functionality, and enhances SMS transmission stability".
You can get it here. The update seems to be missing on the European mirrors at the moment, but the US one works.
thanks dude for the info... i'll try that.
i was experiencing some lagging in the messaging-centre. also tried this htc messaging v1.8 from someone but couldn't see any change. maybe this fixes some things...
So does someone know what is this update for?

supposedly its an enhancement for the SMS app, a lot of people have been experiencing issues like crashing and being unstable
this fix however should solve those problems
im suprised HTC is still supporting this device, hopefully theyll release a ROM before WP7.....which highly doubt it but you never know

Never experienced crashing/unstable... but brutally SLOW yes! And after installing this "fix" it is still slow as hell.
They should've already made a fix for the SOD problem ages ago...
Is there a custom ROM that'll fix this problem?
While this fix shows up under the UK link, if I go to U.S. site and put in Sprint Touch Pro 2, the fix is not listed? Is this only for European phones?
Just installed: it updates to HTC Messages Version 1.5 (Build 2016.2424)
It didnt work on my sprint US touch pro2 "this hot fix is not compatible with your device"

I believe this may be for GSM only, not European only as they list US and Asia download locations - I believe Sprint is CDMA and I think there is a US GSM version?
Anyhow, I cannot download from Europe 1 or 2 locales, but can from US, although when I tap on the .exe file once transferred to my device, nothing happens - anyone else experience similar?
In addition, where can I find out the version information of HTC messages so I can check my current one?
Yeah tried this yesterday and it didn't work for my VZW TP2. Hopfully we will get a compatible fix.

Naw I unsuccessfully tried to install on my GSM T-Mobile TP2. I'm curious to know are there any custom ROM's that do not have this issue.

Goto the messages tab of Sense/TouchFlo, then tap "All Messages" on bottom left, then tap "Menu" on bottom right, tap About.
EDIT: I'm using a T7381 (Telstra TP2) with HTC Stock European 2.07.401.1 WWE ROM
in my opinion the update didn't have the expected effect.
SMS is still very slow, eventually 2% faster that before...
hope they will release a fixed ROM that solves the main problems ...

That was what I was looking for but that choice is not there on mine. Exploring "Settings" then "Options" doesn't reveal anything like that either!

Europe mirrors still appear down, but once I had put the .exe file in 'my documents' of the device, not sd card, soft reset and then run it, it worked.

I still don't know how to check the version of my HTC messages client - anyone?
Also on other threads I have read about enabling 'Secure Box' - what is this?

Field Test / Service mode Rogers One X

*Edit* PLease Delete.
Thank you.
milan03 said:
I wanted to know if Rogers version of One X has Service mode enabled, since AT&T's firmware has it disabled.
HTC phones usually come with it loaded and you can access it by dialing *#*#7262626#*#*
This way you can do the network reading, and I'm particularly interested in LTE section.
If anyone can verify this that'd be great! And post some screens.
Thank you.

[Q] [T-Mobile] Where is the multi-user?

I've read that Verizon variant didn't have multi-user but I'm failing to find it on T-Mo's as well.
Did I miss something?
Thanks!
It's not there on Sprint either.
I think they removed it on US versions. Not sure why. I appreciated the guest mode for when someone had to borrow your phone.
It's likely not in the US version because of http://www.google.com/patents/US20050107114
I'm not US.
When you drop the notification, you should see your account photo in the top right corner, you tap that and it gives you the option to add a user.
You should also be able to access this from the Settings > Personal section > Users

Sony might pay licensing to use the patent where LG might not.

Notice it says "This is a non-exhaustive list". That means it doesn't show everything.
