If it works with the stock rom it'll work with this rom ^^

I dont know why but about 3mins after I set intellidemand or intelliactive , my phone always reboot. Always wipe cache & dalvik cache, no UV, just set I/O control to 1024 sio, multicore power saving to 0, all default others. Sio scheduler isnt compatible with intellidemand or intelliactive?

So, I'm thinking about installing this kernel.
I'm on 10m, stock rooted w/ xposed .
Has battery life been a big improvement that anyone's noticed?
Worth the install ?

I don't have the stock LG ROM on my phone anymore, I flashed the latest unofficial CM 11 build on it. Would flashing this kernel on that cause any problems at all?

The oversharpening fix doesn't want to stick on reboot. Have to turn the screen on and off everytime I reboot. I am using Faux and setting on boot or leaving it off makes no difference. Any ideas?

I've seen significant battery improvement using recommended settings

Wifi Issues
I seem to be having issues with the 1.7 beta. wifi says "No response from the internet via "SSID". SSID being my router name. Tried it on both my 2.5 and 5 GHz Connections. Everything else is flawlessly. Google chrome says "Error code: DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET". Maybe something fixable? Great ROM BTW.

Will this kernel work with the updated marshmallow ROM?

No. The kernel in this thread is for KitKat.

[KERNEL][ICS][JB][08-10-12] PeanutButta Jelly Time

Since people probably don't read through threads fully, here is the kernel that I've been packaging with my ButterNutz ROM for a while now, though this one is slightly newer. The full change-log can be found via the source link going to Github. I'll state that this is a very stock and minimal kernel. If you like changing things constantly like the CPU governor and IO Schedulers, you probably want to go look for another kernel. If you like something that works great without having to play around with 50 different settings, then this may be for you. I took the stock kernel source for the tuna board, and patched it up to the latest 3.0.x release, and am also keeping it merged with the tuna source from AOSP, as there have been a few changes since I initially put this out that just got merged in. I've enabled overclocking, though in my usage, the phone rarely goes up to the 1200/1350MHz steps. I've also set the GPU clock to the advertised stock setting, though it doesn't do much for performance from what I saw, but I also haven't seen an issue with battery life, so I left it where I set it. This isn't undervolted, nor does it support it. I tested several undervolt settings, and saw no change in battery life, regardless of what I set the voltages to. Getting rid of it just makes for one less thing to have bugs and issues. For those that are reading averse, here is the Cliff Notes version of features.
Features
Based on stock AOSP kernel source
Patched to the latest 3.0.x from vanilla kernel sources
Overclocked CPU/GPU
Simple IO Scheduler
LZO Compression for faster boot times
Compatible with all Tuna board Galaxy Nexus phones (toro, torospr/toroplus, maguro)
Flash and forget it, no need to spend 20 minutes tweaking for optimal performance

FAQ
Where is XYZ feature?
If you can't find it, odds are it isn't included. Look through the change log above to see if it has been added.
Can I have XYZ Feature added to the kernel?
Link to it and I'll take it under consideration. However, odds are, if it hasn't been included yet, it may not get added. I will add any features that I deem useful, and if you would like something that I don't add, the kernel is opensource, so you can easily add it yourself.

Well, it's working fine here, and for several other users that I've talked to. Not sure what the issue is, but I'd need more information that you provided to even begin to figure out what is wrong.
Also, updated the kernel. I removed some debugging, added in UTF-8 support, and also updated with some more changes from Google. Full list of changes are on Github.
Now here is a kernel I will run
Thanks.

Updated the OP with two new kernels. If you use tethering, you'll want the tether kernel as it should support wifi tethering properly. The other will only allow you to tether via wifi if you don't use encryption.
Has it been tested with the latest bamf rom
4th attempt on flashing this kernel, after wiping dalvik/ cache I flash the kernel it doesn't finish it says verifying partition size the it just drops out and says its done after two seconds. This is with all of your releases. Neither one will flash to my phone

I'm not sure how you're flashing it, but the updater-script in the zip does not print anything, nor does anything get mounted. It checks that you're using a tuna device and extracts the boot.img directly to the device node. It should take just a couple seconds to flash.

What recovery are you using I noticed that there it's a problem with TWRP recovery in updating some zip files.
Also you might want to try and flash back to stock and retry. Sometimes a fresh start is always best

Not to be an ass or anything but y would I have to go back to stock and then come and try to flash this kernel again? Every zip I flash (but this one) flashes fine via any recovery twp cwm etc. I haven't had my phone hang on boot logo one time until I flashed this kernel ....

[ROM][4.1.2]N7105XXDLK7 MultiWindow Control [25 Dec][Bullet Kernel v1.9.12b]

This is a modded N7105ZXXDLK7 firmware to work on our devices. It maintains our T889 fingerprint for market apps and such. Now includes my own kernel... Please welcome Bullet!
*NOTE: Though the kernel allows for an OC up to 1.9GHz it doesn't mean that your phone can handle it. Don't get upset if yours can't pull it off... Just like people, there are some freaks out there. It's just the luck of the hardware draw.
Bullet Kernel v1.9.12b
Mali cleanup and update. This fixed the 3D artifacts in some games.
Bullet Kernel v1.9.11b
Added AndreiLux's latest memory exploit fix. No need to install any other apps.
Fixed CRT off animation. Should now work 100% of the time.
Added Faux's Dynamic Fsync. I've been running this for a few weeks now and everything works great. When screen is on Fsync is disabled, Screen off writes are flushed and fsync is enabled again.
VM readahead value set to 1024 from 128
Few other minor tweaks that can be found on my github
Bullet Kernel v1.9.01b
Merged with latest Samsung N8000 update 1 sources
Update includes many driver and firmware updates
Bullet Kernel v1.8.23b
Fixed loading of exfat modules (thanks gokhanmoral)
Bullet Kernel v1.8.21b
Overclock up to 1.9GHz*
GPU freq range set to 266mhz-750mhz
Samsung Power Saving Mode changed from 1GHz to 1.2GHz to make it more useable
Tweaked SIO
CFQ default scheduler
UV support
Driver updates from latest Samsung Sprint source
Fsync disabled by default**

Perseus kernel questions

Can Perseus kernel be flashed thru TRWP the same way as a custom ROM? Do I need to clear cache and Dalvik before I flash? Is the Perseus kernel carrier dependent? Is the latest version of Perseus compatible with CleanROM 3.0? I understand this is a question for a different thread or forum but I can't post on an development specific topics yet.

I apologize in advance if this has been answered elsewhere, but are kernels installed by each custom rom? For instance if I had installed the latest Perseus kernel with CleanRomX, and then decided to install back to the stock rom, would that overwrite the Perseus kernel?

4. Wiped cache and Davalik-cache. (<1 min.)
5. Installed the Perseus-alpha32.1-n7100-CWM.zip (<10 sec)

[Q] What kernels are recommanded with GEE 3 ROM?

Hello community!
I would like to flash the GEE 3 ROM on my LG-E975 Optimus G (European version) but I read that ROM needs a stock KK kernel to work.
I'm looking for the Jolla Kernel but I hesitate between several versions available on this page (mostly between AIO, GEE and Stock_KK).
Is the AIO version including all others and can it work on my phone? Or is the Stock_KK a better choice?
I recommended stock kk.
After try both solid and jollar kernel.
I found
- phone freeze on solid
- can't set gpu frequency to stick value in jolla.
I really like s2w but have to cut it off because of those problem.
