So i was messing around with the tab S 10.5 and accidentally deleted the nandroid backup and also full wiped the whole drive. I installed a different FW using odin, but the one thing I found out is, 1, knox is not present and SuperSU wont work, and 2, Charging through computer doesnt work. So my question is, is there an original firmware for my tab, i bought this in the US but cant find any, and ive been using a hong kong one. I believe the charging through computer doesnt work because of the wrong firmware.

When I first got my S2 I rooted it to remove some bloatware like orange backup and maps. I was looking to also remove the orange startup and shutdown logos but never found how to do this. Now I want to undo all I've done (not much really) and put it all back the way it was.
Having searched the webs I find all the results about flashing using Odin to a new custom ROM, but I'm sure this is what I want to do.
I am sure I made a backup of the original files but I can't find them anywhere on my computer. However, I have managed to find some files I must have originally used to root/flash.
Odin
S2Root 1.4.3
GT-I9100_XXKG3_insecure
GT-I9100_XXKG3_original
I have rebuilt my computer since I originally rooted my handset, so when I needed the drivers and installed Samsung Kies it told me I had an update to ICS. I've completed this but Sky Go is still saying my device is rooted and will not work. I've downloaded and tried superoneclick (latest version) but this crashes every time. Opening S2Root, which I'm assuming I used originally, and trying to Unroot it tells me my device is not rooted and aborts the operation.
How can I fix this now?
Thanks in advance

Greetings,
I've been playing around with my Galaxy W far too much. I probably got stuck at boot with 3 or 4 different roms.
Currently I'm on a semi working version (AFAIK the wifi isn't working) but I'm surprised it works at all, since I have a 3.* kernal for a 4.* android version...
I've been told about a tool that does a factory reset to your phone. It pretty much wipes everything in it and restores the software in it to the way it was the day it left the factory.
My question is, where can I find that piece of software? I've been told something about a Samsung program for developers or something that just requires your phone drivers in a Windows computer and it will restore through the usb your phone...
Can anyone please shed some light on this?
Thanks
Regards.

The program You are looking for is the Samsung Kies, but I would recommend you to use Odin instead. Download the latest 2.3.6 firmware for your region (Google Sammobile, you gonna need to register), and search for it. After it follow one of the several tutorials for flashing with Odin and you're gonna have a fresh working phone again.
After using odin, boot into stock recovery, wipe data/factory reset and you're good to start messing around again
Hi all,
I made a dumb move and installed the CM11 port for my T320 without backing up my Samsung stock firmware. (I'd post over in the appropriate thread in the development section, but I haven't posted here frequently enough to be allowed over there). I want to go back to the Samsung UI for now because I am having some troubles with CM11 ... my tablet thinks it's a phone, so I'm not getting the tablet features and app versions. Plus something is off with my screen so that some apps (Flipboard, at least) runs everything off the right side and bottom of the screen. Anyway, does anyone have an idea of how to get me back to my Samsung UI? I can't get Kies to talk to my tablet (another thing that cropped up with this CM build) so I can't get that to reflash it for me.
I have downloaded an Odin-flashable Samsung stock firmware from Australia (I'm in the US) so I'm guessing that will work, but I'd rather find an easier option before I give my tablet a globetrotting split identity disorder or something.
Please understand, I've rooted, reflashed, and even unbricked devices before, so I'm not new to this, just made a dumb mistake.
I believe that is the only way to go. The good news is you can install twrp recovery now so it shouldnt be an issue again. Bad news is there isnt a flashable stock firmware that I know of yet. Im kinda hoping for cleanrom as he did a hell of a job on the note 3 and knows the system better than most.

I've used Samsung Kies from my PC several time to go back to stock.
When using Kies you may have to switch your connection from MTP to the other option and of course check debug.
I went back and forth from CM11 several time plus I did what you did also except I used the New Zealand version
Here's what I did to restore stock from Kies.
Plug in the tablet, open Kies, and click Tools then Firmware upgrade and initialization. Type in SM-T320, hit okay, then add your serial number.
Basically just follow the steps it asks you and make sure your tablet is in download mode. It will download the stock firmware image and flash it to the device.
My instructions might now be 100% accurate, but that's basically the process I took to restore it to factory.
greetings, i have been having an issue and literally spent all day looking for answers yet nothing is working. I have a SM-S890L S4 Mini from Straight Talk. Anyway, I backed up my stock rom and then flashed cm10.2. My computer no longer recognizes it via usb and the menu and back buttons are no longer active. Restored image before flash and same issues. And I accidentally deleted the backup when I factory restored the phone. I can still boot into recovery and Odin, but I am unsure what to do. My research led me to believe that the S890L and I91505 were the same. Anyway this stuff is fun to tinker with and the best learning method. but my phone being down is not. any information is appreciated.
edit: ok so this is where i am at. I discovered that any unbranded rom will work as far as returning to stock. Where can I find the csc and modem information for straight talk? I chose the 9195 because it is an LTE just like mine, root process went fine and was able to flash cm 10.2, however i get NO audio and my soft keys are not there, they do not work
I know this post is pretty far outdated, but this may help others experiencing similar issues.

When I start an app - doesnt matter which, my tab restarts. Not all of the time, but many times. This started a month or so ago. Does anybody know a cure? Thanks
original or custom rom? Tried resetting to defaults?
Originaliteit or custom ROM? Its the original ROM andere have reset my T325 tot default. No succes
have you ever tried to root it or use another rom before (or was it used)? it could be a tripped knox issue, usually that causes the tablet to reboot when the knox check fails...
if not then perhaps somehow the system files got corrupted and you might just want to completely re-flash the whole stock firmware with odin or kies
Knox could be the problem. I have not rooted this tab. But i have knox disabled. Should i turn it on? Its for me such a useless app.
if you have never rooted then knox is unlikely the problem, you can try to re-enable the app though see if it helps..
-if you still get reboots I suggest doing a factory reset , then boot into download mode and re-flash the whole device using the latest firmware
In my testing there is only a few things that can make the tablet reboot and that is
1. a kernel panic similar to linux (maybe a bug in a filesystem driver ..etc)
2. knox
3. overheating when the cpu is at 100-105c it can make the tablet shut down or reboot
i have been thin king and i guess it has to do with the battery. Until the last update my T325 had loadin g troubles. I think that this also has to do with the same problem. Next week i will visit the samsung service store and see what they can do for me. If that doesnt work will i start thinking about rooting and perhaps another rom. Sometimes i wish i never bought this tab. My former (rooted) P1000 never gave troubles!
As good as the P1000 was, I don't miss mine over the Tab PRO, for starters LTE is sweet. Secondly the +1.5 (i.e. 2GBs), of RAM make for a much more pleasant experience. About the only thing the P1000 has or had going for it was some support. Likely do to the fact that it was Samy's first Phablet.
