Hi there please help me here! I cannot download directly from the bittorrent app or any other torrent app to the root of my micro sd card? 64 gb memory. Have any other out there the same problem as me? Please tell me what is wrong? I can save torrents directly to the internal memory of the galaxy tab s without that problem! But not directly to the micro sd card?? Please hurry up and tell me something!!!
It's a kitkat security issue. You need to root to be able to save directly to sd.

hey guys quick question...I have note 2 and by mistake I formatted my micro sd card through cwm recovery...now all my data is gone including pictures and videos.. does anybody know how to get back data..i really need one of the video I had in my micro sd card...

I believe there is no way to retrieve it back.
But I've read sum where there is an app u cud try it's called undelete.

Connect your sd card to PC as mass storage, and search for application for recover data, there are lot application available for pc. If you lost data from internal sd card then it's very difficult. For ext sd card still you have good chances to recover.

I'm currently using a Galaxy Note 2. And I'm having issues with my microSD card. Just 2 questions:
1) Is it true that the latest Galaxy phones spoils microSD cards easily?
2) I had previously used mattiadj's memory swap mod to swap external memory to internal memory to put apps to sd. But unfortunately, my 32GB microSD card fried. Now that I've got a new one, when I installed the mod again, my storage details shows both internal and external as 32GB. And files from my phone memory can't be read at all.
Can anyone kindly help me more on the 2nd question? Really depressed to lose all photos and data and now can't figure out how to get that extra memory space. Many thanks!

If this is the mod you used it says you can access the internal memory through astro it es file manager.

Hello, would it be possible to install apps directly to my sd card? Or would it be possible to somehow partition/merge my SD card and internal storage together? Hello all,
Bought 64gb SD card in order to put all my gigantic games on it, but had no luck.
So I factory reset tablet, erased SD, and now I'm ready for your help.
Is it possible to install apps from Google Play on SD card?
Tried to move it from App manager, and now, for instance, Hearthstone is 1.5GB on internal and 44MB on SD.
please help.

You can try using Link 2 SD, that works for some people: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD
If your'e using a KitKat rom you will need a small fix to make moving things to the SD card possible because Google restricted SD card usage in KitKat: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nextapp.sdfix
If that doesn't work here's what I use currently:

Hi guys, I'm using Zenfone 2 [ZE551ML] 2GB RAM/ 32GB ROM.
The issue is that even though I transfer the files (videos) from my pc to the internal memory, when I try to transfer them to the sd card the file is not read and it's broken. I've tried to transfer directly to sd card but the results are the same. I don't know whats the problem, because the very first time putting the sd card it was all right to transfer files into it.
If anybody knows a way to deal with this please let me know. Thanks in advance
