Hi all,
I havent't tried it yet, but I understand with Themer and Buzz Launcher, you can basically press a couple of buttons and have your phone look completely re-skinned and re-themed. I believe these apps aren't available for the S Tab. Does anyone know if there is something like this for the Galaxy S 8.4 tablet?
Many thanks

Is it possible to get the standard android answer screen for answering a call as personally i really dislike the HTC one, all i know is its in the HTCDialer.apk
If i delete this apk then i get the standard answer screen which is ace but the phone button on the homescreen doesn't work anymore which i would quite like to keep...
Any suggestions much appreciated as im in over my depth here and not really sure what else to try...
You would need to use an alternative launcher. The phone button on the HTC Dock will be linked to the .apk you are deleting.
buggar was hoping the file could be tweaked
Quite like sense was hoping to keep that...
There are very similar docks and themes you can get for launcher pro.
Hi,
I am new to Androids and I have tried to search my problem before posting but cannot find the right thread.
I have just installed the 4.2.2 Paranoid Android to my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 I317, all I cannot quite figure out is how to delete the extra/empty home screens to the left and right.
I have tried pinching, double tapping, and holding the screen but none of those give me an option to remove the excess pages. I only like to use 1 page.
I have googled this issue and some just say to install another launcher, but i just want to keep it pretty the way it is and also to prevent unnecessary battery usage.
Anyone know how to do that?
Thanks a million!
From home screen press menu button and then edit page.you will see all the screens just drag the ones you dont want to trash.

What you need to do is go to you home screen and push the home button (only button on the front of the phone. All of your pages will show up. Ling press on the ones you dont eant and then drag th to the top of the screem where the "x" is. This will work. What launcher are you using? To each there own but I recommend nova

Thanks but I know how to do that with the stock ROM and such. Its after the 4.2.2 Paranoid Android, I can seem to even make them all pop up after I press the home button.
go here
System settings\ launcher\ home screen\ home screens
Hello
I've recently installed Paranoid Android 3.15 on my Galaxy SIII i9300. I'm also looking for a way to delete homescreen pages. I've tried all tips above, but I can't seem to find it.
I'm using the default launcher.
Greets
try again
System settings\ launcher\ home screen\ home screens
This worked for me

Don't think that's possible.
You have to use an other launcher to do that

Try to install Nova Launcher, then you will find many options and functions in the Nova setting
Thanks.Guys.
Does Nova Launcher play nicely with the fun Samsung stuff (like multi-window support, S-Pen software, etc?). I'm thinking very strongly about getting a Note 10.1 2014, but couldn't bear to be without Nova.

You can customize everything with nova launcher
Just delete it

In nova setting you'll see Google search bar, select that and change it to none. Keep in mind this gets rid of search bar, app drawer button, and settings button. But you can get to that stuff other ways. The setting to turn that off I believe is under nova settings/desktop or look and feel.

Hello all,
I just got the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 last night and have installed a few apps. Before I get going, I want to hear suggestions from all of you on how you would customize the tablet. What's the best way of setting it up for use? What would you do when you first turn on your tablet?
Thanks,
Crazysah
It depends on how adventurous you are. I've rooted mine and installed the CM build by crpalmer.
From my Pro Tab 8.4
My customization is pretty simple--just one home screen with frequently used apps and a time widget. The first thing I did was install Apex Launcher to customize the app icons/wallpaper and create gestures. I also organized apps into custom folders for quick access (games folder, books folder, etc). I eventually rooted my tablet to add more apps to the multi-window bar, like Skype and Spotify. Then I turned off all animations in developer options for smoother transitions. I don't plan on installing custom roms or anything else, but the possibilities for customization are really endless... I just needed a simple setup for my use.
hi,
I downloaded couple of APKs from Sammobile, especially from the S8 and install on my tab s3, it worked perfectly. No more Apps button, just swipe up, icons from the S8 ( some of it) but the main draw back, though its not significant to me, the icon becomes smaller if you change to 5x6. But, so much smooth now.
The version I downloaded from Sammobile would not rotate into landscape, which made my keyboard case useless. I had to to a full reset to get back to stock. Has anyone found a version that will work in landscape?
Any way to get this with landscape option?
I would also like to use this, as I HATE the massive icons on the stock launcher, but I almost never use my tab in portrait orientation.
Has anyone found a way to allow this launcher, but also allow landscape?
(Sorry, I know I'm late to this conversation, but I just got my S3)
Hi all...

If you download a stock ROM from Samsung, you can just open it up using a zip program and get the apps out that way. IMHO that's the safest way to get stock files.
