Hello, actually I'm so excited to install custom rom for my nokia x and I really don't want to remove my cwm recovery, in case I find bugs or something like that as I can restore my backed up stock, rooted rom, and sorry for my bad English.

Yes, but it would be far easier to just install a stock rom on your cm7 device.

Thanks. Could you tell me which one is the latest unlocked ROM in that list and what should I do to install that, please? I'm in UK (if this information is relevant).
Backup your rom via recovery......copy the backup to the other phone......restore that backup from recovery......
I'm puzzled by the fact that you have 2 WFSs

If you have rooted WFS (both) then do it with Clockworkmod recovery, it backups complete system/apps/sd-ext including call logs, sms etc

edit. sorry I didnt read your post carefully
you can use rezo609's All-In-One Utility (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1697985) to get stock recovery to your phone and I supose you will just make factory reset and will be on stock rom, but you should make Titanium Backup of your apps cause you will lose them
Hello,
i ordered a e986 today and when i get it i want to install cyanogenmod. On my S3 and Xperia Z it wasnt a Problem but with the e986 im a bit confused.
Is the e986 supported by FreeGee or not? Sometimes i read yes and others say that it doesnt work.

I have cwm installed too. It's great to have unless you want to flash roms..You CAN'T FLASH CUSTOM ROMS with this cmw, only mods. Since I am satisfied with the stock rom that I debloated I use it only to create backups and I flashed the hide qslide mod. :good:
When the led buttons light up I push the quick note or home button to get to cmw. But you have to be fast

dear god there is no 4.4 rom for the one x, the 4.4 roms are for the att onex or the one xplus. go into the android development section or the original android development section for the one x, not the att&t or one x plus, and flash one of those roms, and then flash the boot .img for that specific rom
Sorry...i see now ....i have the HTC one not th X.....wrong post here...i now try it with loading new RUU..

i want to either 1. remove twrp all together so i can install official update or 2nd where to get the update and do it through twrp. where do i need to go. how to install it. also how to install stock android because it is meant to be better and perform better.
also i cant seem to gain access to twrp anymore. do i need to do something in order to get into bootloader ?

Well I think you can just flash stock recovery back before you do that make a backup with twrp and if you have removed system apps or froze them restore them before flashing stock recovery back & then apply the updates if that is successful just flash twrp back

Well you either need to find your stock rom Inc stock recovery if it's not there you could ask for it on the thread & at some point someone might upload it. Take it you never made a stock Backup before unlocking etc.

Clockwork mod is custom recovery if you have s-off it will install it but if your s-on you will have to flash it via htboot with the Adb commands. Good guide here to have a look at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2711073

Not being funny there is plenty of guides on xda to help you. If you don't know if you have s-off you shouldn't even attempt the Adb commands or flashing anything as you could end up with a expensive paper weight. Before you do anything else read the XDA threads on the m8

No, flashing a kernal won't result in a different twrp. BUT inside the kernal downloads he also has a few Twrp releases. You will need this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/dl/?id=22806
