Request: Long Shadow Watch Face LG G Watch - Moto 360

Can anyone make the watch face with long shadows from the LG G watch? I'm a fan of the long shadows on the watch. Specifically, I like the multi-colored long shadows as opposed to other apps which provide non-colored shadows. I've attached an image of the watch face. Also, if you know of a way to install it on my moto360, that would be great as well.

I wish there was. I tried installing the apps from the LG G watch dump, but have been unable to get it to work on my phone. Still hoping someone has a workaround or feels like making this one.

[Q] Google fit periodically heart rate check

hello world ,
first of all I'm really happy with my moto 360, but one thing bothers me . It is the Heart rate moniture . I'm searching and looking around for a app That atomatically checks my heart rate every 5 minutes and uploads the data to google fit. but in the past two weeks I couldn't find anything...
I know that moto body does this but I deactivaded it because I use google fit and think moto body is worthless. I hope someone knows a way or I inspire someone to programm it (in that case I devenetly wanna be a alpha tester : o)
hope to hear soon of you!
I use the moto 360 on Android 5.0.1 and a sony xperia Z3 compact on 4.4.4
u rooted?
how u deactivated the stock moto body app?
I'm not rooted.
First of all when moto body is activated it check your heart every 5 min (so every 5 min it turns on the green led.) if you go to the moto body app and scroll to the settings menu than turn of all the notifications and than it is deactivated. You can check it by looking for 5 min at the heart rate monitor!

I tried it again and sorry it doesn't work any more..
But does anyone now how to get it work for google fit?
(how can i move this treat to the android wear forum not the moto 360)
shoot, I cant even get heart beat to register when the 360 is set to check for it through googlefit.... if i change it to motobody then it returns results in the guage but never get a reading when set to google fit.
But is there a way to make a app or anything for this?

This would be awesome. I am looking for this also. I don't want to use multiple apps to track my fitness.

This is perfect, thank you!!
I tried this app for the same exact reason, however, you need to pay to get the features that you want. Also its a huge battery hog. Im really surprised that these features haven't been thoroughly implemented in Android Wear yet. Im really hoping that we can get the moto wellness tracker a backup and restore feature, as i enjoy flashing roms and requires a 360 reset which in turn, erases all moto data.
thanks, great app
*bump*
Since the App got deleted on the Play Store.. Is there any other way to get the Heart Rate from the 360 into Fit?
Ultimately i was thinking about doing it with AutoWear and Tasker to use the Rates also for other things, like checking if you still wear the Watch or combine the Rate with the Active Tasker Profile. Things like that...
I just did'nt found a way to insert data with Tasker into fit yet.

The app just got updated to 0.4 maby your bug is fixed
nah, i'm doing it with Tasker and AutoWear right now.. The only thing that still bothers me is that i can't turn off the screen while Fit is measuring the Heartrate (or at least turn it off, after he executed it) because &screenoff& somehow doesnt work. But at least he also sends the Rate back to Tasker, so that i could interact with it. And this way i can easily check if it is Working, which is the Problem with Clinche which did'nt got my heartrate for 4 hours without me noticing it.
But i still don't like the Fact that i need to use an App on the Watch
Can someone upload heart rate os apk, its no longer available on google store

Hi,
I'm not sure about what you want. Can you please clarify your idea a little bit more? Thanks
Hi
When you turn the lg g3 screen on with the quickcircle you see an animation on the board of the clock.
My idea is to make the same animation maybe with others colors interacts with the music
Look the photos maybe you can understand what i mean
Sorry for my bad english

Well I see now :fingers-crossed:
Sincerly it will be pretty hard to implement that on the stack QuickCircle app, because of close source code by LG. The only way is to create an external app which manage this feature for QC but I'm not very optimistic about some conflict and battery consumption. We have to handle music and then listen to call, to touch event, screen on/off externaly to QuickCircle official app, maybe if there are some broadcast we can receive them.
The other way is to implement that on my QuickCircle app for AOSP and STOCK, but it isn't exactly the same as stock. BigBoot93 improve my app and make one more efficient and nice, so maybe ask him if it is a good idea . If he agreed with you I will work on it :silly:
Merci Beaucoup

New amazing feature I found after Marshmallow update !!!

So, I found this feature by mistake and I have been looking for something about it on the Web and can't find anyone talking about it.
After the Marshmallow update (coincidence or not, someone tell me) I have been able to dim the screen manually whenever I want by covering the whole of the watch screen! It's an amazing feature and doesn't require any proximity sensor or whatever.
Is this really new or am I telling you something so "known" that I should hide myself?
Nevertheless, I felt I should open this thread so that anyone who didn't know it until now, like me, gets to know this amazing feature.
And who already knew, how did huawei manage to do this? The screen must support multi-touch so that it feels several fingers covering the whole screen huh? I've made some tests and it is actually really really accurate.
Try it for yourself :highfive:
This feature worked for me from day one on Huawei, even before the new Marshmallow update.
Cool feature, but been there previously...

Yeah, it's been around for awhile. I guess you didn't go through the introductory demo. I believe the feature has been around since the beginning. I remember seeing it on my old Moto 360 1.0.
On mine it doesn't work? Does it have something to do with the fact that the watch is connected with the iPhone?
Sorry to rain on your parade but as I recall, that was right in the intro tutorial!
Is there a setting to turn this off and on? I can't seem to get this to work. My watch is paired with a Nexus 6.
this feature will work when you have ambient sensor like the 360

This feature uses multiple touch points and does not need an extra sensor. It worked on the Huawei from day one.
Got it to work! Thanks for the insight.
It has been like that before MM.
Lol got all exited

mine does not work..
any setting should be set ?

You have to get your whole palm touching the touchscreen. Push it against the screen, don't just lightly cover your watch.

i tried by touching whole of my palm into the screen, then it vibrate and the screen is off.
is it work like that ? it's just go into standbye mode, not decreasing the brightness
..

Weird, maybe it is your watchface. I've tried this with pujie black, go to launcher(menu) and covered the screen.
Watch went to standby, lower brightness, exactly as if it just timed out by itself.

i tried to set always ON = ON, and covered the screen with my palm..
then the screen goes to standbye mode with dim watchface as seems like when the screen time out..
but when setting always On=Off, the screen goes off when covered with my palm. like this ?
hendry yes it supposed to behave like this
I'm pretty sure this function was in the tutorial before marshmallow even.

Screen capture and video gif?

All,
I'm coming from the LG V30 and Samsung S8 and Notes series. One thing I loved with those phones is the easy screen capture and surprisingly easy screen video catpure and transform into gif feature.
Do you know of any 3rd party software that has all those features? Prefer not to download multiple apps but if I do, it is what it is.
Thanks for any suggestions!

A quick search in the app store will give you plenty of options but to be honest, they are all kinda clunky to use and need to run in the notification tray 100% of the time.

What phone do you have? I got the LG Wing today.
I'm looking fot he LG game pad app, but i can't find it. I installed LG game laucher, but i don't have the LG game padd icon like on the V60 (see scree).
I know that the app is for dualscreen cases, but maybe it also works for the LG Wing.

Nevermind, i see that it's already preinstalled. But it doesn't work on the LG wing. I hope they will add support in the next update. Would be great to have a game pad on the second screen.
What stock apps do you want? I will share it here tomorrow.

A bit off topic, & will start a new thread myself, if needed, should I get the phone :
Have you used an alternative launcher app (Nova/etc....)?
If so, is the 2nd screen activity/app pairings the same as when using LG's launcher, or, is some functionality lost?
EDIT/UPDATE (11/07/2020) :
After watching TK Bay's YouTube review of the LG WING, using anything other than the stock launcher will strip away some of the features/functionality of the phone in dual-display mode.
To what extent, he didn't elaborate, I'll find out more when I pick up the phone from T-Mobile later today.
