I have a Moto 360 I got from the Play Store and it has the latest update with the new watch faces. After 24 hours my 360 has 50% battery left on average.
I have the Moto 360 charger and the Nexus charger from the Play Store. I have noticed if I leave the 360 on the Nexus charger past when it reaches 100% battery life the charger stops charging but the 360's screen stays on. This causes the 360 to discharge. If I charge the 360 on the Nexus charger overnight it is about dead when I wake up. It never starts charging again. I will say I do not have ambient screen mode on.
The Moto charger does not have this issue.
My nexus 4 charger does not have this issue.
This has happened to me with original 360 charger. In the morning was at 86% after a night in the charger.
I charge my Nexus 5X with the official charger, and usually takes less than 2 hours to charge (not sure if 1h30m or 1h40m I don't pay attention tbh), and normally it charges this fast. Except in one situation: When the phone is turned on charging after turning itselff off reaching 0 battery (I was just doing a full charge 1 time).
In this situation, the N5X still says "charging rápidly" but it charges 1 battery every 2-3 minutes, and says "4h left to full charge". I let it charging turned on like this, and this slow charging continues on and on... and it really takes that time to charge.
However, if at any point I turn off the N5X and I let it charge for a little turned off, it charges normally (1 percent per minute or more) and after turning it back on again, it continues charging normally.
This is strange, and didn't happen with the N5.
Any of you noticed this?
Hello everyone,
I bought my moto 360 when it first came out from NZ. It was running fine but was out of use for a month or two. Now that I have started using it again, I have noticed that battery doesn't charge even if I put it for charge overnight, it charges to anywhere between 50-70% but doesn't go up from there. System update has been downloaded but cannot install as system asks battery to be charged to 80%.
Any solutions ....??
Thanks everyone...
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA-Developers mobile app
Same problem here, left it to charge overnight, woke up with 62%. Charging has stopped.
So it stops at 62% for me, drops back to 60% and goes up to 62% over the course of several hours
Mine is doing the same thing. It starts charging until about 55% - 77% and then stops. There is a video from last year of a guy's watch doing the same thing. No updates, no apps draining. It could be the charging coil going bad, checked out Amazon for replacement parts looks like they run about $50 USD for the coil, back, and battery.
To power up, you consume Red Bull. But your phone just needs its adaptive fast charger. Rate this thread to express how quickly the Sony Xperia XZ Premium can charge. A higher rating indicates that it charges extremely fast.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Qnovo Adaptive Chargen very useless. This phone charge 3 hours 30 minutes.

Before saying such things, do you even have any idea why this happens? Don't post something like this like is a con when you don't know why this happens. Also you can disable it easily if you don't like it.

Yes i know "Battery Care" function. I Turned off.
I tried a lot cable and charger but i give always 3 hours 30 minutes.
Because this phone has got QNOVO Adapdive Charge technology for battery life.
But, that's why:
%1 percent to %51 charged with 2380mA
%51 percent to %60 charged with 1990mA
%60 percent to %70 charged with 1510mA
%70 percent to %75 charged with 1220mA
%75 percent to %80 charged with 1020mA
%80 percent to %83 charged with 920mA
%83 percent to %85 charged with 720mA
%85 percent to %87 charged with 620mA
%87 percent to %100 charged with 530mA
Totally full charge 3 hours 30 minutes.

One phone and this support Quick Charge 3.0
But!!
3 hours 30 minutes charging time (Oneplus: 1 hours 28 minutes, Galaxy S8 1 hours 41 minutes, HTC U11 1 hours 44 minutes)
We dont need QNOVO for 2/3 months extra battery life.

If you charge it to 100% (and discharge it to 0%) every day then you will not extend your battery life for sure... If the charging time is the most important to you, get OP5 or S8 and stop moaning. And 3 hours and 30 minutes? LOL...

3:30? I got it with UCH12 and it was charged from 1% to 100% in 2:38. I only tested it once as I don't let it go under 30% and I charge it max 87-90%

Battery Care open 3.30
Closed 2.40
To be honest I'd rather wait longer for the phone to charge than damaged the battery over time. I rarely go below 50% and charge above 80%. This way the wear to the battery is minimal

I had the same results when i made a full charge with the uch 12 charger. Most people say that the 40% to 80% rule is the best for the longlivety of the battery, but i perform the 30% to 90% rule as well because it lasts me almost 2 days with a normal use.
This phone lasts me forever, so I don't care that it doesn't charge 80% in 15 minutes. I just wish it had the time to full charge listed like my old SGS6 or that it would at least have a notification somewhere that you were in fact rapidly charging (again, like Sammy phones).
Less than 3 hours to charge from 5% to 100% as you can see in the attached image
I use a aukey power charger with quick charge 3.0 and an Anker USB 3 cable

with battery care on, I also got approx. 2:45 with UC12 and also charged from 1%, I often charge from 15% and got approx. 2:35 fully charged.
Hahahaha... I bought a 3A "fast charging kit" yesterday, because I was by friends and forgot my charger. Manufacturer is "hama". It looks really nice and like it's good quality. But... Hell... 2% in 19 minutes? WTF?! Hahaha... I think this is ultra fast charging gone wrong.
You all are stupid. Turn off battery care and you will charge it for 1:15 to 1:30 h with Sony UCH12W.

Battery care is disabled since I bought my XZP ? I think it's a compatibility problem with my hama charger. The Sony charger does it's job really fast ?
I think that Sony UCH12W is the best charger for Sony XPERIA XZ Premium
My XZ premium went from 4% to 100% in 1hr30 using the standard UCH12W and UCB20 cable.
Xperia XZ Premium charging query?
Hi burakkcbyk
Are the figures you stated below specifically for the Xperia XZ Premium? I ask as I had an online chat with Sony today and they were next to useless. The advisor told me the phone actually draws 2.8a @ 5w, but this doesn't make sense when the mains charger supplied can only provide 2.7a @ 5w. Furthermore, the official Sony in-car charger can only push 2.4a @ 5w. So, with your figures below it seems to me as if the phone actually only draws 2.4a maximum anyway?
Kind regards
Dave

Yes bro. This values for XZP
I use Havoc OS 2.9(rooted). I bought a fast charger (Output 2.5A/9V = 2A/ 12V=1.5A) just yesterday. It charges from 50 to 70 in about 10 minutes.
I charged it from 30 to 65 before sleeping. And when I woke up, the battery had drained 15 % in 7.5 hours.
What can be done to avoid these battery drains?
