Hey guys I am new on this site and found that this it the best site for all you can find on cell phone. I bought a galaxy sgh-i467m from telus and have found that the screen freezes like alot of you guys have that problem also. I was wondering if anyone have found a custom rom to install on this device. It is rooted with stock firmware. Please help me
No one? I thought there will be someone out there had a custom rom for this device to make it faster or just different

Nope, no ROMs for the i467 or the 467m. The AT&T doesn't even have an unlocked bootloader. Not enough of these devices were sold and so there wasn't a lot of demand. I have the i467 and I'm just about to give it up after waiting so long on a JB update that was promised but not delivered. If I were you, I would move on or learn how to develop.
I almost wonder if a 5120 rom could be flashed on the i467m tablet. I've been tempted quite a few time to try but have not given in to temptation.
I apologize if this is explained elsewhere, did a search but not coming up with much:
I'm somewhat new to Android rooting. I have a Verizon M8 that was on 4.4.4. I installed Sunshine 3.02, got root no problem, TWRP installed with no issues, SU installed fine. I tried to run a few of the Lollipop ROMs but they would not run, I jut got returned to TWRP. (Some, like ViperOneM8 run fine). According to a post in another thread, I also need to update the kernel to get it to work with these newer ROMs.
My question is: what now? There's a section on XDA for Kernels but they all appear to be custom kernels, the ROM I want to use (Android Revolution) says that using the stock kernel is best. How do I find these kernels and how do I figure out which one to use?
Anyone willing to give me the short version of when I would need a new kernel and why?
Thanks for any help!
You need to update to Lollipop firmware.
You should also make sure you stick to ROMs that specifically support the Verizon variant (if you are not doing so already) as its a CDMA variant, which is different hardware from most other (GSM) versions.
Hello, name's Mike, have been in the android side for a while and it's my first time actually owning an US version of a phone, the N900T (T-Mobile Note 3) running 5.0 stock TW. (I don't live in the US)
So please, enlighten me!
ROOT AND RECOVERY
I have tried to root it and did it successfully, however when I tried to get a custom recovery on it, I only got boot loops so far, tried various tutorials, none of them have yet worked out for me.
CUSTOM ROMS
Are there any current custom rom development for this phone? I've seen lots of KK roms but I was looking to get a stable lollipop AOSP like rom like CM12 but without crashes or battery drain. Does anyone know any good roms that are stable?
PORTING
Also! How do you port a N9005 rom to a 900T? I've seen some methods by flashing a BT+Wifi fix or something like that but it seems outdated and I don't want to brick my phone just yet.
Please, please help me out, I am really out of it. Used to Custom rom on a Huawei U8650, Galaxy S2 and on my G2, but this is harder due to it being a carrier phone.
Thanks for your comprehension.
Did you download the right TWRP? Get the tar file and odin it.

Did you check the N900T development forum? There is quite a few to select from. I.E. Slim

Sorry can't help you with porting.
Sorry to be that guy but is there a thread somewhere that has some kind of list as to which phone these roms work on.
I flashed my phone about a year ago and it seemed like it was very model specific. Maybe thats not the case anymore but it seems like it would be very helpful to have a thread dedicated to it.
Thanks
I have a tmobile version btw.
I'm not sure what you're talking about. Except for Maximus HD all custom roms I know supported and still support all variants of the M9.
Some 3.x firmwares required you to either flash a custom kernel or the stock boot.img alongside a custom rom. Nonetheless, they were usable on every variant (except for Maximus HD).
I've recently unlocked my bootloader on my N975U using SamPWNd and was hopeful that with these devices now being able to have the bootloader unlocked that we would see some custom ROMs ported over. I've been either unable to find any or I have missed them. Has anyone found any? If so, can you please post a link? If not, do you forsee us ever getting any custom ROMs on this variant? Thanks!

Seems that there are not many custom roms available for your device.
Check this thread about general information:

Maybe better to ask in this thread.
