If you want to erase your operator logo, you can do from the following steps :
1. Make Transparent File .Gif size 120*20 pixels and rename it to carrierlogo.gif
Or Download Here (Use Save Target as.. )

2. Connected your Pocket PC and goto Folder /windows
3. Copy file and paste it in Folder /windows
4. Soft Reset
And When you have Incoming Call​

If you want it back :
1. Connected your Pocket PC and goto Folder /windows
2. Delete file name carrierlogo.gif
3. Soft Reset
OK. If you don't have time to create it, I've already made it in cab file.
How to use:
Unzip, Copy cab file to your Storage Card and click it to install.
How to remove:
Just uninstalled it from settings and Soft Reset.

Interesting - what I'd like to know is the effect this will have on roaming.
And how you put the transparencies into the images (since I don't have Photoshop or Fireworks).
Edit: just a warning, 'shoppers. The phonepad seems to like displaying the colour White as "transparent", tho why it does so I have no idea. I guess that solves my problem, tho.

Is this workable on the Hermes / Dopod 838Pro too? I have this phone but I can't find the carrierlogo.gif file in the specified folder.

You don't need the carrierlogo.gif to be present at the beginning. Just place your carrierlogo.gif in /Windows/, soft reboot, and it should magically work.
I hear O2 actually hardcodes carrier detection so performing this trick results in a blank carrier, but that doesn't seem to be the case on my Atom - the only problem I ran into was white being interpreted as transparent.

Nice,i used the "carrierlogo12" and look so nice whit Vista theme that i have instaled,now its 100 times better than whit VODAFONE logo,thanks bluecream4

I have a universal and used the 120 x 20 format but the result wasn't that great, so I changed the size to 240 x 40 and all works fine now

I think this hack was advertised in the forums once - tho my first experimentations with it wasn't too much of a success. I managed to create my own 120X20 image file, and threw it in, only to find that the bloody thing truncates my logo at 120X19 (so it's missing its bottom). The price of using an unofficial dialer, I guess.
I'm a gonna try 240X40 when I get back. I didn't know it was *that big*.

I don't know how to remove call hist and calendar on my home tab screen.

I can remove only dotted lines and small arrow (No Dotted Lines Home.cab). other cab files no working, thisame situation with manila. I replaced the original but not effect.

Steps:
1- Download megaupload file rar
2- Backup for those manila files
3- Turn off tf3d
4- Copy new manila files in /windows
5- Turn on tf3d
6- Enjoy your new homescreen

If you have the first one use the file that you find in "1c684cd8_manila v1.zip"
also the other one. This file remove also the little watch that appear when you slide up in the home.

Hi,
i've been waiting for a manilla edit like this since nov.
the call history links have been removed. but i can't set a wallpaper for the homepage. been through the settings and selected a picture but it always comes up plain black.
just checking the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/desktop/wallpaper values -- currently set to \windows\default.2bp - is this correct ?
using the stock ROM here - any suggestions. thanks!

question is do i need to change the wallpaper setting in the registry to point to a jpg in my wallpaper folder or is there anywhere else i can force the blackstone to change the wallpaper to a picture instead of plain black. other than via the touch flo wallpaper setting (which doesn't work)

btw u need HDwall application to get ur wallpaper in each tab..
plus i have taken many files from diamond to make it look like dis..

ah well. HDWall doesn't work on my default ROM.

u can use mUn bg4allTabs but corner clock will not work with that

layout is WAY better like the clock where it is with the date and alarm where you put them....BUT how do i get rid of the calendar icon??? still there(this time if i hit it it does take me to calendar instead of whiting out my screen)

When i try to copy the manila file to windows folder on the blackstone, i get a message saying that i have no permission to copy files to the folder. What should i do.?
I have also tried copying the manila file into the windows folder ussing total commander, but nothing changes here..

I'm pretty sure you need to use totalcommander or a similar program in order to copy/paste in windows. Also, you should move the original somewhere else like the root of your memory card so that you can put it back just in case.

I have attached the software needed File Editor Suite, also you can get a 30 day free trial of PE Explorer Here
It's all very simple to do just follow the guide any questions feel free to ask.
Also take a look @ Making custom icons to replace the standard icons
Step 1:
Unsign the .dll .dla with File Editor Suites UnSigner.exe, just drag the .dll over the Unsign.exe as show in the picture you wont see much maybe just a CMD "black box" quickly pop up.

Step 2: Open with ResHacker\PE In PE you have to click the circled item and you will see the resources.
Step 3: Find the resource you want to edit, remebering that the file you will be replacing needs to be same size and bit
Step 4: Save your resource and in File Editor Suite you have siggner.exe click it locate the .dll and press start the process, the .txt file out put will say "Warning: This file is signed, but not timestamped.
Succeeded"
That's it your done
Now use the appropriate software whether it be File Changer or just using Resco File Explorer/Total Commander to replace, if you have a file that can not be overwriten go into the phone find the file change the extension to .bak example: bronzeres.bak

PS. for all, make sure to keep the same pixel size on the icons for better quality when displaying on device, for panels not as much, since the .cpr adjusts the size of the panels on the homescreen.

And if that wasn't enough he didn't do a good enough job covering his IP address.

To add to the Tute.
Sometimes when a file has only one Icon file (like for instance some .cpl files)
You can actually get away by using a bigger .icon file to replace it.
But best practice is to always use the same size and resolution to replace these.
Another Good Resource editor is CFF explorer http://www.ntcore.com/products.php
Or the Classic ResourceHacker.
Also until now i got away without unsigning files just fine, but i always sign them with new cert.

I've gotten this to work pretty good except for one slight hiccup... the "signer" gives me an error that the signature has expired... any thoughts on how to correct this?

Also when using PExplorer or CFF explorer sometimes you will need to rebuild the header for the file not to break.
At least i know that was the only way of removing \Noui from the first Marketplace exe (and also replacing it with my icon.
So with DLL files i don't expect this to be needed, but if you edit an .exe file and quickly see the .exe icon being replace by a blank icon you know you need to redo it with recompile header.

Anyone having challenegs in copying tapres.dll? I can copy bronzeres.dll and open it using PE or Resource Hacker but can't seem to copy the tapres.dll (wchich containts the start menu icon) to my PC for modifying..=(

tapres.dll is a ROM file so you will have to use ROM Extractor and this is not easy as made for PPC, but can be done
In Top Box type\Windows\tapres.dll
In box bellow type tapres.dll
Click Extract.
This will extract it to root of phone memory.

i tried to unsign and open MMAppLauncherCore.dll (after copying to my workstation) which maximus.mobile has made but after the unsign step res.hacker opens a empty file, i do not know why.
can anybody try to open the file too to find out the mistake?

Hey guys!
I'm sharing with you a file for magisk that adds to Rog Phone 6 (Android 13 themes) Batman Diablo Immortal themes and Rebellious Robot Boy. I got this file from Telegram in the Rog phone 6 discussion group, as I went directly to all the files in the group I didn't check who made it available.
The file only works with root applied by magisk and the installation mode is basic, flash by magisk restart and enjoy.

After unpacking, there are 2 very nice animated wallpapers in the directory "/system/priv-app/" and you can install them normally without rooting your phone. They can then be selected in the wallpaper settings menu. The "Rebellious Robot Boy" theme is available to any user of any Rog 6 series phone, just complete the "AR mission" and log into your Asus account in the "Armory Crate" application, then you get this theme as a gift.

Those are apk files that tries to install an app called Core Glare and the other one shows as fearless light.
WHat are those for?
What would be the process to install the themes?

These are animated wallpapers that are not standard on regular Rog 6 builds. They can be installed without root and work very well. I will never install root again. I used to do this on many phones, but now I don't see the point in it.

Yes, these are the original live wallpaper files from Asus with the ROG logo. Once installed, you select them in the wallpaper menu. I tested them for myself, you can then uninstall them normally in: Settings -> Apps & notifications -> View all apps

Hi, I installed both APK files by just going through file browser in my phone then selecting package installer
to open the apk files and it asks to install it. it then installs it but just cant find them in my themes, preloaded or downloaded.
Am I missing any step?

Hold screen - option Wallpaper and style - click Change wallpaper. It will be at the bottom.

as far as I can see, the themes are already there.
using MIX explorer, I can get to the / path. from there I can go to
/system/etc/asustheme/themes/
I see all the files, and the file named "hidden", contains 3 strings
"com.asus.themes.omni", "com.asus.themes.batman", "com.asus.themes.diablo", but can't edit the file as it's a system file that can only be modified by root.
I just copied the zip files from there, and I'm trying to figure it out how to install them or put them in the themes "downloaded" folder, to be able to apply those
