I would like to buy phones for my nieces in Ukraine and need fully supported Russian/Ukrainian languages. Choosing between Alcatel Idol 3 and this Zenfone. Original preference is Alcatel but now I read it is released in US with castrated language selection out of the box. Does Zenphone that is sold on Amazon (WW version?) have full support of international languages?
Would appreciate a quick response as I need to make a decision within a week.

In the language selector, both русский and Украні are available.

So a friend of mine bought the LG g4 in Europe (model v10d-eu-xx) and when he updated the software the Hebrew language disappeared (no menus in that language). This issue is common since the company who sell the LG phones in Israel do it to force us the Israeli costumers buy it from them and not cheaper from abroad.
We can reveal the language by using the app more locale 2 but it losses it's affect when rebooting (nees to set it every reboot).
I wanted to know if there's a way to make it permanent (even if it requires root), there was a way on LG g3 that combines root and some adb commands but it doesn't work on the LG g4.

*flashing the Israeli kdz doesn't work
*the model in Israel is named h815L but the root and everything is similar to the European h815.

Has anyone actually received Android Pie OTA yet? Because there was a load of articles saying the rollout started in January and I haven't got anything yet.
I got it since 17th January, but my device is korean version.

I am not sure, but as announcement it will come to 1st quarter of this year.
The first quarter ends in 12 days yet no update... Such a shame, will never buy an LG phone again ? very disappointed especially since this is supposed to be a flagship

The LG G6 was one of the first phones to get Android Oreo, and now they are this slow with updates..

I got Android Pie(System H) on my Ticwatch Pro smartwatch today, even Mobvoi is faster than LG ....
I have a friend in the US and he looking at new phone I said look at the g7 power and then i saw the Moto G7 Optimo Maxx name and are they the same phone but just different name im in uk btw thank you
