Normal. The other cores will come online when the load is increased and on an as needed basis.

I was searching for an app to show me cpu usage, mem status for a long time and now I found the perfect one - it is called cool tool, is free, available at android market and supports a lot of options.
I thought this was worth sharing:

[Q] A question about battery usage.

Is this normal usage. It seems like mine is a little bit under what some people brag about.

I've got Auto brightness. Shouldn't the percentage be distributed among the different levels?
Thanks.

Basically battery life gets hammered when I'm using the phone, 99% of the time it will be running at 1.5Ghz and will ocasionally clock down to 383Mhz for a split second before shooting back up.
All my other Android phones before would scale between the frequences, but with this it seems to just be always running full speed

It is normal to use two cores in iddle?

Hi, was looking at the app "cpuz" and noticed that the device uses two cores even with low cpu usage. I wonder if this is normal?

Yes very much sooo, the other two cores kick in when needed..
Counter-question, when you sit on a chair and you are resting, you move your legs further?
I prefer to let it use all four cores to get away with the lag, but its kinda obvious for me now its because of LG rom, since s805 also lag.
