[Q] Notification/nav bar customizing? - Paranoid Android Q&A

My apologies for this question as I know most customizing questions have been beat to death, but I have read through the change logs and I can't find a way to move the notifications down to the nav bar? I was also looking for a way to move the nav bar to the left? Are these options still available or was that a part of the Hybrid mode that is still being worked? I just updated from 3.95, so I am not familiar with all of the new bells and whistles of KitKat.
(I DID look before I posted the question, but could not find any info on this, so please don't get snarly with me as it will not be helpful and I won't pay attention to it in any case.)
Laz
P.S. If by chance there is a guide to the new features or something, I'd love to know where I can find it. (I don't even know what stock KK features are available, much less customs.)

Afternoon Matey, yes there is a guide with all current features available.

[Q] build ASOP with few tweaks on it

Hello all, i am searching in the forum for this but i cannot find an answer: I would like to build a "pure Google" rom with only few tweaks: toggles on notification screen, also i would like to mod the navigations buttons, tweaks that i find in AOKP and in my favourite rom, JBSourcery. But, for stability and battery duration, i prefer stock JB rom. How could I make that? There is a tutorial or something like taht in forum? Thank you all
why doesnt everybody pay attention to the STICKIES

[Q] Transparent Status Bar

Hey guys, I've searched through the One X forum but had no success in getting answers or mods for this, so I hope it's okay to post this question.
Is it possible (I suppose it is, considering Sense based MIUI has it transparent) to make the status bar from Sense transparent without use of other launchers? I'd probably get some guts to try and do this on my own, but I haven't touched apk tool yet, not even once.

what rom are you using at the moment? are you stock? anyways depending on what you are using have you had a look in the themes and apps section? or even in the android development the thread by Master Dougi? he has some transparent statusbar mods so give him a shout
Hey, thanks for the speedy response.
Yes, I've searched through the Themes and Apps section for One X, no success, but I'm going to take a look at what Master Dougi has to say.
I'm on Blade 4.0 currently.

then yeah check in android development and check his mod thread....plenty of goodies in there mate
No success there either, checked out his threads, he offers one only for energize rom and is a rather old mod now.. but I did notice that on some of his and Vegetaleb's screenshots, they have the transparent/semi-transparent status bar.

Thanks, really appreciate it. Although it does sound tempting to just learn to theme and mod and offer something to the masses if the options are limited..

Question!!

Hi guys, I know that it's a stupid question but I'm new in the Nexus world and I'd like try a custom rom. My problem is that there are many roms and i don't know what to try. I have Samsung Nexus maguro and i would install a complete rom. Completo about led contro, navbar color etc...
Can you help me please??

I have asked a advice ! It's very different!!!
Go to dev section
Click on threads that say [ROM]
Read feature lists
Look at screen shots
Consider options
Narrow choices
Read feature lists again, compare
Read user comments
Critical thinking
Pick one
Flash it

Best ROM threads are not allowed. Everyone has their own preference, try out a few, look at features and see what works best for you.

[Q] X-Rom Notification Bar Customization Issue

Hi, since im new to posting on XDA Forums, i have to ask my question about the phenomonal X-Rom here...
Firstly id like to take the time to say that this rom is exactly what ive been looking for... its fast and stable, something i sorely need due to health issues (the ability to access medical info without my phone rebooting or force closing is paramount). Not only that, its also very professional looking.
My issue with this hitherto great rom is this: i cannot seem to find options to customize the notification bar and currently im sporting two battery percentages.
I've searched the forums and found no answer, thus far.
Im using a Galaxy Note 2 with X-Rom, everything set as default from the aroma install, including the theme.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Nexus 4, no customization settings at all

Hi, this is probably a stupid question to ask since the solution is probably something simple I must have overlooked.
Anyway, after having gotten a little tired of CM, I flashed PA. However, the customization settings are not present at all and I could not figure out why this is the case. Any hints?
Thanks in advance!

Nvm, I read around some more. It appears that there is a bunch of stuff on the way still.
