Guys can Photo Sphere apk work with G3 4.4.2?
If you install the Google camera from the play store, you'll get the option to select photo sphere. It starts up, but I haven't did a full photo sphere, just started it up.

Can someone please explain exactly what I'm supposed to do with the Photo Sphere images from the 4.2 camera app?
I've shot a bunch of them but they just look like standard panorama images!
How do I view them on the PC and get them to pan etc?
Sorry for yet another stupid question..
When you view them on your phone you should have a circular icon at the bottom of the screen - press this and it should go 3D (like streetview)
Thanks. When I press that button in the new Gallery app, nothing happens at all!
Upload those pics to Google+ there you can able view photo sphere images in PC

I have had the same question, so photo sphere means to be able to view pics as 3D?

is there no way to just see them locally without uploading them somewhere?

I think your gallery app is not working properly... try to change the GMS core. Apk
Check this YouTube link to see the photosphere view

Not sure what the gms core app is!
All i did was to flash the 4.2 camera app and the new gallery app came with it!
Should I have flashed something else?
Sounds like the package you flashed wasn't complete

It's a flashable zip I found here:

Works great with CM 10.1. I embedded to the page and included the link below.

No you'll have duplicates. I have CM 10.1 and I deleted the CM gallery.
I just flashed this and now neither of my cameras or gallery's will connect. Is there a way to uninstall it?

Yea... I tried it on TW and now it says can't connect to camera.. I backed up before so no biggy.

from what ive searched and found around the xda site is, you need to tap the screen to focus every time before you take a picture or you will get camera lock ups and can not connect to camera. if you have gotten that message, just reboot your phone and remember to tap the screen before every picture taken.
The back camera works fine. I have to do the whole tapping the screen to focus before taking the picture thing, but thats not much of a problem. But if I take a picture with the front facing camera, it reboots my phone and obviously does not save the picture. Anyone know a way to solve this?
(I'm running 4.2.2 Illusion ROM for SGS3)
Install omega rom. Indie has modded them and photo sphere is working without any problems. You dont even neet to tap to focus before each photo. When you install omega be sure to select the 4.3 camera option in aroma installer

I just updated to Kitkat and installed the Google Camera from the Play Store. Loaded it up to try Lens Blur and noticed it doesn't do anything. It takes the picture and processes fine but then the button to change the focus is missing. Just share, edit and delete. Has anyone else had this problem?

The option to edit the blur effect is in the Google Photos app

Thanks for the reply. Weirdly that option doesn't seem to be there. I can't figure it out. Works fine in the nexus tablet. It looks like it stops processing around a third of the way through and then goes to the photos app.

Has anyone gotten Google Lens to work? Mine keeps crashing despite clearing the cache, etc. [emoji19]

Same here. Happends after a update.
I thought I was the only one! I tried to replace the apk with another one. I also thought I wasnt on the correct software. Isnt there a June update? Well for T-Mobile?
Mine has worked since day 1. Did you set up Google now? Might have something to do with it if you didn't.

Yup. Though, I didn't see any mention of Lens in the Google settings. [emoji19]

So if you use the google assistant button and say "open google lens" it will ask you to click the icon and it will open. But clicking on the app in the drawer does not work.

Correct. Nor will it work if I tap the link within the camera app.

It seems to be working fine on my T-Mobile G7. I can open it via Google Assistant (it opens the app), via the link in the camera app, or via the icon in the app drawer.

Some one know what app they use for the 3d scanner camera? In the unpacking event never shows what app they use. Thanks
