(Samsung App) Drive Link

Haven't seen it posted so time for it to go up Great app to use while driving especially the music player. Note that the weather information might take some time to show up.(it was working for me on both tw and aokp)
Description: The app's welcome screen displays widgets for local weather and upcoming appointments, alongside large icons for navigation and calls.
"Drive Link has complete navigation functionality using the smartphone's GPS features, allowing the user to select preset, recent or favorite destinations, or search for a specific address," the firm said in its Global electronics blog on Tuesday.
"If a text message with address information is received while using the App, users can set the address as their destination with just a single click on the text."

Drive Link S3 Mini GT-I8190N
I am so keen to get Drive Link working on my XAV701-BT with my Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini GT-I8190N
I have tried over and over again and downloaded the .apk, installed it and when I try and open it it tries and the says unfortunately Drive Link has stopped.
Is there anyway to get this to work on my phone, pleeeease?

Correct. Never used it, but it seems like on the eve of 4.4 providing the option of setting your own default SMS app is a bad time to pull the feature.

The interface is so much like ios7 iMessage.

But playstore said theres an update for messenger so i updated..
Then it again took me to previous messenger ui..
Anybody with same thing??

N without a problem its working..
New features are cool..

Just had the same issue as well. I detached the app from the market using titanium backup, and it seems fine now.

I had a problem with the apk you posted. So I found another file: :laugh: View attachment com.facebook.orca-2.apk

on my play store still the avaible version is 2.7.1
i can't install the messenger apk :/

They removed the ability yo send sms...
And guys you should uninstall the existing messenger app first and then install the apk and turn off auto updates on google play so it doesn't downgrade update to the older version

For me i can send sms from the new app..
But they made a catch..
Only people who use messenger can send sms through it..
I tried and it works..
Even if they are offline..
Messages are sent on their phones..

How so? this is the same app that android police posted as well as several other users in several other subforums on XDA. I originally found it the day it was announced by facebook when browsing the the Sony Xperia Z1.

You sure that wasn't sent through one messenger app to another? Or is it like when you have a contact on your phone who has messenger but is not on your facebook friends ñ

The new Google Now/Launcher is great, feels like I have KitKat already.
I am, however, having some problems. Clock installed, but crashes on launch.
Logcat shows the error:

Probably an API issue?
Gallery refuses to install, with no errors, just "App was not installed."
I'm on CyanogenMod 10.1.3. I don't expect much can be done, just thought I'd report in

I did, no help. Originally got an error about missing entries in the SQL database, so I cleared it, didn't help.

Thanks the new apk worked.
I got a new input method called "Google-Keyboard".
When I use this I got the normal Android Keyboard but with the swyping feature.

Just to know, how did you get this APK?? I'm in the Beta Program of Facebook, and they still use the same layout for me

Found it on android police, hmmm strange, it worked for me once I had to reinstall after disabling auto update though then it gave me the new ui

Yes very strange, I Uninstalled my Facebook from Google Play and Auto Update is off for all apps.. But I'm with the same ui..

Hmmm, if this is a server side thing, I don't get why it works for me, I'm signed up to The beta yeah, but some people are saying that it doesn't work for them, despite being in the program :/

First of all I tried to update, it failed, so I uninstalled Facebook and installed the new one, it worked fine first time, but then reverted to the old ui, so I unticked auto update, then uninstalled it and reinstalled it, now it works, although the play store tells me that there is an update available, I'm just ignoring it

[4.4.x]Working HTC Blinkfeed

Instructions for installing HTC Blinkfeed on Samsung Galaxy S3:
1. Download Htc_BlinkFeed_v8.zip
2. Flash it in Recovery
3. Have fun!
Ok, so now here is a little guide for the users who don't have enough system space.
I am using CM11 Linaro /Sabermod, and I think I had like 10 mb free on system(With Full-RR GApps) . What have I done? I went into system/apps and I deleted all Google apps(like Gmail, Maps, etc...DO NOT DELETE GOOGLE SERVICES OR GOOGLE PLAY). After that I went in Play Store and I reinstalled all apps that I deleted + Swiftkey. Now go back in system/apps and delete latinIME.apk( I think), it's Google Keyboard(I am not a fan of it). I deleted also some CM apps like Apollo, Terminal Emulator, Whisper Push, Dsp Manager(because I use PlayTube and it won't work with PlayTube) CM File Manager, CM Account... And I had like 100 free mb in system. 
Known issues:
1. Facebook feed
2. Weather app won't work(on clicking on it)
3. Some graphical glitches

this is weather and twitter included.
hsp (service pack) permission probrem is cleared and you don't have to remove /system/priv-app anymore
To make Weather appear on Feed page, you need:
1. Set Feed Page as Home page
2. Go into Settings/accounts and create a HTC weather account(sync it)
3. Go to location settings and turn it on
4. Now, weather should appear on Feed page

Its a hit and miss for twitter. For me it doesn't work but other have reported to get twitter feed to show, just not open it up. Its safe to flash V8 over V7
!!! IMPORTANT!!! BlinkFeed port is under development. Some features like Facebook feed won't work. Also, there is a little problem with the widgets. Changing density should solve the problem.
Please post some ScreenShots, I can't post because of an error.
