Hi ,
I am using xperia ZL c6502 I was on kitkat 4.4.2 root but had issue with video recording as sound was not getting recorded properly. So I tried to installing AOKP rom but I didn't realize that it required unlocked bootloader. My bootloader was locked and now the phone is not booting or not going in recovery mode. I had XZdual recovery and now it is not going in any mode.
Please help :crying::crying::crying:
You're going to need to do a fresh flash using FlashTool for Xperia Phones. There are ROMS and a guide here that you can use.

You have mentioned it is not going in any mode. Are you not able to go into 'Flashmode' / Fastboot mode?

Just use flashtool to flash the rom again man, i think u should flash the stock rom firs
If it's ok, then flash your custom rom
I am running the official rom no problem it's not allowing me to flash any custom roms in the recovery mod. I cam reboot to recovery either by x-part or holding the menu key while it start.:crying:

You unlock your boot loader with the test point, not root. So please be clear about what you've actually done.

If you want to use a custom ROM then 9 times out of 10 you'll need to use a specific kernel, usually one that comes with CWM.
I know exactly how to flash custom rom, I am coming from MT4G the problem after you flash the rom the phone dosn't boot in recovery it just stay at sony logo, even when i try to boot in fastboot mod dosn't allow me only booting in recovery.

Try this....
1. Flash ur stock ICS firmware 4.1.B.431 ... 2. Don't let it upgrade to the latest firmware (in Canada I got N update that changed my firmware to 4.1.**.587 or something like that)
3. Then flash ur phone with the rootable firmware of xperia generic world version...
4. Flash the kernels for that firmware .. even the stock ICS would be OK..
5. Root the phone using Doomlords method of rooting... Its the best...!
6. At last reboot ur phone ..n violaaa...
U have a completely rooted phone ..!
P.s. make sure u see the log while u root ur phone . It may say rooted successly even if it had some errors... so make sure other are no errors..!
I had the same problem when I decided to unlock boot loader n root it for the first time ... so no worries my friend ...try this .. n it will work for sure.. !

I can see just SONY logo, nothing else. I tried turn on CWM mod, but nothing happens. My pc doesn't detect my phone.
Bootloader unlock allowed - Yes this means that bootloader unlocked?

You need a unlocked bootloader to do custom roms however there are custom roms for locked bootloaders too.
Sorry, but I do not understand what I said apparently what happened is that the Xperia download a recovery and install Z, instead of one of the Xperia ZL. After restarting the phone, the phone did not return to start. Sorry for my English but is very poor.
Anyone know what I should do?

The problem is not that I can not install because of the bootloader, but that installing the recovery that was not the cell does not start, it is not detected by the FlashBot or the PC.
For AOSP roms like CyanogenMod you need an unlocked bootloader.
Locked bootloader works only for stock kernel based roms.
If your phone is already rooted and BL unlocked, download CyanogenMod http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=odin
Extract the boot.img from that .zip-file and flash it via fastboot.
You'll need fastboot drivers installed to work! (--> http://www37.zippyshare.com/v/40599174/file.html)

It looks like you need to unlock the bootloader and flash a recovery image. That's if Sony have created a recovery image for this phone. If not, then you can't.
Or you'll just have to wait for some developers to start working on this device. Hopefully we'll have root and recoveries soon...

Hi!
The Xperia phone doesn't have a stock recovery, it just isn't a bootable thing.
You could however install a custom recovery, completely up to you.
Cheers :good:

Hey there man, I can't unlock my bootloader since it is in bootloop and also I have trouble flashing stock rom on xa1 ultra device.. it says no matching loader found. it basically skips flashing the rom. I have downloaded the rom through xperifirm and installed right drivers..
why cant the flash tool recognize and find the loader? does the loader mean the bootloader of the phone? which I have no way to unlock?:crying:
