The only way to connect Jabra Play to my Galaxy Note 10.1 is to put the headset into pairing mode and then manually choose it in bluetooth list on the tablet.
Otherwise first couple of minutes there will be audio glitches.
Is there some workaround?

Currently on CM 10.1 January build. I have a Logitech Wireless Bluetooth Adapter that I connect the Nexus to so that music can be streamed to a surround sound system. This had worked on a prior version (the October M, I believe), and this issue has persisted.
After placing the adapter into pairing mode, the Nexus will find the adapter, and after a few seconds will fail to pair and leave pairing mode. The Nexus does not have any issues pairing to a Bluetooth transmitter in the car.
Edit: Fixed, had to simply unplug it and wait a bit, paired immediately.
Hey guys,
Just seeing if anyone else has had this problem or can think of a solution that might work. I have 11 Audi S4 with the factory nav and Bluetooth, my wife has a 15 Audi Q3. We both came from Galaxy S4's and this was never a problem. Basically when we pair them to the cars the phone thinks it's a headset so it gives me the volume warnings and such and also does not transmit meta data from Rdio, Spotify, or Google Play Music. It also does this with a few of my speakers that have displays. I have done a full factory reset on the phone and nothing. Also tested in a 08 subaru wrx and same results. Hopefully someone has some thoughts or has had the same issue.
Thanks,
Lunchbox
interesting... I have 2 Fords- a '12 Focus & a '14 Explorer, both with the Sync feature... I have paired my Note 4 to both of them with no issues and they both see it as a phone and treat it as such.
The Note 4 does use a newer BT stack right? v4.1 is newer than what was on the Galaxy S4 I think.
updates for your gear maybe? It's tough cause you are seeing it across a few different devices.
Ya I was thinking the same seeing how that is much newer. I do wonder however why the controls don't work at all that is the only really strange part got me.
I'm having problems also with my 2014 A6, Note 4 connects but any audio played from any source skips alot, phone calls seem to be working normal.
note 4 bluetooth issues
I am having issues with the bluetooth on my Porsche PCM when on calls it sounds like there is a bunch of paddles prattling for a few seconds every 10 t0 20 seconds and then the call will sometimes drop. Any ideas?

I want to use a bluetooth headset to listen to music and watch movies with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013. Basically looking for the wireless headset capability. I have used bluetooth to connect my cell phone to my tablet, but I cannot connect a bluetooth headset to my tablet. I know bluetooth is working, but I just can't get the tablet to recognize any headset. So far I have tried Plantronics and Jabra. Anyone know of a headset that is proven to work?
That's strange....I've tried 4 different BT Headset+1 Portable BT Speaker & all working fine.
Motorola ROKR S605
Sony VH-310
Sony MW600
Sony Smart Wireless Headset MW1 Pro
Creative D100 Bluetooth Portable Speaker
What ROM are you using?
Make sure there is no BT streaming bug in your ROM.
Hi,
I bought a new LG G4 after using galaxy s2 for 3 years. I have ford focus 2012 car, the galaxy s2 has no problems with connecting and playing music in the car, but now I can't connect the LG to the car, when I am connecting it(with a bluetooth) its works only with calls, its not playing the music in the car systems,I tried to "forget" to car from bluetooth, tried to clean the cache, tried every thing that I found, maybe someone has another way to fix it ?
Hello guys!
Been enjoying this phone so far but one annoying problem is when I play music in my car via Bluetooth the artist and song name dont display. I had a pixel 2 XL before and had the same problem. Had to go in developper settings and change Bluetooth AVRCP profil to 1.3 and it worked. Unfortunately it doesn't work with my galaxy s20 ultra. I tried a tcl 10 pro and it worked instantly without changing anything, samething for my gf's iphone XR. I tried a couple other things like changing permissions for spotify's app, disabled battery saving mode for Spotify and for all my phone too and nothing works. I'm out of solution. Anyone here can help me fix this nightmare?
TIA
