No Audible notifications from time to time....

Once in awhile the phone will stop vibrating and it won't ring if I get email, text message or IM. Changed My SIM Card, even factory restored the phone and it still does it from time to time. Do you guys have a similar issue? After rebooting the phone the problem is fixed-but it's only temporary. I have stock software-no rooting...
Please help!
Thank you.
same thing
same thing here buddy. no idea. but luckily it doesn't do it often. i tend to check my phone so often anyway that it doesn't get in the way though. definitely weird. it's like the opposite of a phantom vibrate haha.
I hope they come out with some kind of a fix for it-this is really annoying. Haven't seen a lot of people to complain though-strange!
i didn't complain because i thot it was normal.
I don't get vibrate nor ring for txt's.
btw, sms = normal txts?
Yeah, it isn't normal at all. I wonder if it is software problem, because if it was hardware I would thing the notifications wouldn't work at all.
Anyone has a solution please?

Rhodium400 in-call problems with hearing either side (proximity sensor?)

I know the proximity sensor is not functional with the Rhodium400. My wife and I are both running the newest version FRX 7.1 on the .27 kernel.
She had issues with Windows Mobile getting a data connection, and it would carry over to Android. So I dd a hard reset on Windows Mobile and started her Android from scratch (as it was having other slowness and issues also). Ever since then she tells me (and I have heard this in call) that every time she puts her cheek or face to the phone it will sound as if the call dropped but it doesn't drop really. She can't hear me and I can't hear her, but as soon as she takes her head away she and I can both hear again. This doesn't happen all the time, and is likely only happening when XDAndroid has not been rebooted in a few days.
I have not been able to confirm it by sitting right beside her and calling and confirming the problem, but I plan to do so tonight. At first I thought she was just muting me because she was ticked at me...don't ask , but she isn't smart enough to come up with something like this, because technically it sounds like the proximity sensor is mucking up the phone call which I thought was not possible from everything I have read. I even had her turn the power button off at the top to turn the screen off, to make sure she wasn't bumping any buttons. The way it looks, it almost sounds as if the phone is inadvertently trying to place another phone call and putting the first phone call on hold.
Has anyone else had this issue? Doe anyone think this is likely a proximity sensor issue, or have any advice for when I get home tonight and start playing with the phone?
Supposedly also this issue was going on with her in the car and the phone plugged into a car charger. She called me back with it not on the charger and it is not messing up anymore. I don't know if it is coincidence or not, since it wasn't always doing it to begin with.
Never heard of this, almost sounds like a hardware failure.
Run WinMo for a few days, see if you can recreate the problem there. If so, there's something going haywire with the physical hardware.
I get a situation kind of like this in Android, but not WinMo. Basically if I recieve a call it's about a 50/50 chance that this happens. I can't hear them and they can't hear me. There is no sound at all, like the speaker and mic don't even turn on. However, mine doesn't seem to have anything to do with the proximity sensor as it does it as soon as I hit the answer button and moving the phone away doesn't fix it. Also, it's only when recieving calls, outgoing calls work all the time.
I've had similar problems, but quite a bit in the past, making me think mine was software or settings. So don't discouraged!
My thinking is, since auto-mute to rear speaker/mic system is a 'feature', that maybe that system gets triggered. Check those settings, and that level/bubble calibration stuff.

[Q] voice command launches at random!!!

for somereason voice command launches at random, sometimes it automatically calls the last person on my call log, sometimes it just asks me to "say a command". this happens, with headphones in, or out, with the screen locked and in my pocket, or even if im doing any matter of things.
ive searched the forums and the web trying to see if anyone else is haveing this issue, or to see if somehow its me actually launching it, but to no avail. i really hope its something i'm doing. any help with this would be much appreciated, i would hate to have to tack back this awesome phone!!!

Random annoying weird sound please help!

Hey guys i have this stupid issue with my phone and it only happends on aosp roms but its really hard to explain but i will try my best.
When and only when im intrracting with my phone i would get some type of random sound kinda like a notification sound, but it's not. Sometimes it would just play back to back like 3/4/5 times in a row. Don't matter what I'm doing listening to music playing games texting in a call surfing the web YouTube anything i do it would just randomly do this stupid sound thing. I would even mute the phone completely and still i get the sound. I tried clean flashing 2 different roms and still the same sh!t. has this ever happened to anybody before? And how did you fix it? thanks in advance.
There are accessibility options that say random things like that as you swipe from screen to screen. Settings>>Accessibility

Micro troubleshooting; Battery; Root(Autostart) Problems

Hello everyone,
first of all thank you for having such a huge side, all the informations. it's amazing.
So, my english isnt the best, but i try to discribe my problem as good as possible and i would really appreciate if you could help me solving this challenge
I installed CM11. I followed all your steps. And everything works.
But know after using the phone some days and also after answering some phone calls, my opponents say that i sound like i am in a hall after telephoning some minutes. not all the time.. When i change to loud-mode it change and everything is fine again. after 5 minutes of talking in loud mode i can turn loud mode off... and everything is fine also in the other system. I don't have any idea. i also searched here and also in the internet. but because of my lag of language, maybe i search with the wrong words. Sorry for this. Could it be, that i had some troubleshooting during the installation? Update: I found out, that this happened, when i change the position of the phone during the call (from left ear to the right ear. I know, it sounds wired)
And one more question. My phone runs out of battery verys fast. i only installed a view apps. nothing special. do i need to install superSU like in one of your threads to deactivate autostart or do i have option in cm11?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-phone/general/root-fire-phone-supersu-t3105546 ( is this for fireOS or for CM11?)
I found something called "privacy guard". But i dont find it to download(appstore) and also not in the phone itself.
I would really appreciate an answer of my questions. Thanks in advance.
Christian
The battery issue has been occurring for about a month now, it seems to be a gapps issue. Turning off apps that use GPS seems to be the fix in most cases. Go into your Apps and make sure you force quit them when they're not in use (or just turn off location services). The biggest offenders for me were Device Manager and Swarm.
