Hi Everyone,
Recently my phone died without a clue. Based on my research, i think it is regarding sudden death syndrome. The phone is stuck on samsung logo screen when i turn it on. it is also stuck on battery logo when i charge the phone.
I cannot go to recovery (hold power + up volume + home) mode and can only go to download mode. I tried flashing a factory ROM but telling me no PIT parition.

I have a note 2 version 4.1.1 that was rooted and tried to flash this 4.1.2 ROM:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2041559
using mobile Odin pro since I wanted to keep my root.
I did everything by the numbers, but quickly after the flashing process started, the note 2 stuck on the blue android pirate logo of mobile Odin and stayed that way for a half an hour. I tried entering download mode using the volume down + home + power, but it brings me to a custom Odin download which warns me to not to download a custom rom. I can choose volume down which cancels the downloading and keeps the phone stuck on the mobile Odin logo again or up which claims to download a customer rom, but doesn't seem to do anything.
I tried pressing volume down+up+power for bootloader, and it just reboots the phone, so does holding the volume up+home+power. It seems mobile Odin installed something which prevents me from going even to a factory reset.
Please help out a newbie, what can I do now?
Thank you very much for any help.
OK, got it - I have to use the PC Odin to recover - working on it now.
Thanks for the time being and sorry for the hassle.

Ignore the Odin warning and download a stock rom to install and use. Install CWM and root and follow the instructions on the first page. Use CWM this time.
hey all, i need some advice on how to fix my girlfriends galaxy s3 (she was on facebook, it starting running slow and then froze mid screen, so turned it off and wouldn't power back up), you can turn it on and it wont load past the first screen, you can turn it off but turns back on, i've tried pressing volume up + home + power, but it does nothing, doesn't react just turns off and back on straight away
i've heard about the samsung jig to reflash the phone
i've downloaded odin and a factory UK based firmware (latest i could find)
can i just plug it in, let it turn on, remove and then turn the phone off and back on and carry on using it like normal? as i don't want to lose her contacts as they wasn't backed to the sim or memory card

Did you try restoring it with Kies?
plug it into the computer, it shows the battery image and then freezes, so have to remove the battery, but im trying to find the odin way to do it, but keys saying it wants modem and a few other things aswell as the pda file, i don't know what files i will need, as im currently downloading the I9300XXUGMK7 from a uk based site
and the instructions from the site aren't very clear as they don't tell you to use modem settings etc
righty, i've managed to get kies to boot up and do a manual install of the factory software, but all it does is download the firmware for the device, but not install it, it freezes at 0% and wont budge
the phone wont go into recovery mode regardless, it will go into odin download mode
the phone when i boot into download mode shows
odin mode
product name:
custom binary download: no
current binary: samsung official
system status: custom
yet if i put my s3 lte into download mode it shows
odin mode
product name: gt-i9305
custom binary download: no
current binary: samsung official
system staus: official
(greyed out) knox warranty void: 0
rp swerv: a2
This is not the correct thread for your model.. I suggest you go into your model's forum for better information.. I think Odin would be the best to try, but I don't know if the i9300 firmware will work with your i9305.. If its not it could cause a brick!

Did you try with "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization." in Kies?
Use Kies or oden to stock

Can you boot into either recovery or download mode? Hold power+home+vol. Up for recovery / vol. Down for download mode.

i can go to download mode ( volume down )
I think kies has an emergency fix feature or something (never used kies myself)
Assuming you're not interested in flashing custom roms / retaining warranty (research: knox) then download the latest offical rom and flash it through odin. Then boot to recovery, wipe data / factory reset and you'll be good to go. Obviously having lost all your data.
If you don't know how to do those things spend some hours researching them.
I am clueless...
Here is the info:
i9192
stuck at boot loop, powers on, vibrates, logo comes up, but it restarts.
can not enter recovery mode, when i press vol +, home, power it says RECOVERY BOOTING on top and it just restarts...
can enter download mode without any issue and upload firmware via odin. odin reports PASS however can not start the phone, and recovery is still not available...
i tried many firmwares but nothing works...
here is the info from download screen
ODIN MODE
Product Name=GT-I9192
Current Binary=Samsung official
System Status=Official
Knox kernel Lock=0x0
Knox Warranty Void=0x0
CSB-CONFIG-LSB=0x30
Bootloder RP SWREV=1
Write Protection =Enable
Any suggestions?
Thanks
have the same issue and still couldn't find a way to fix it
I have a same problem and also no solution...
Hi Friends,
I have a situation here, I got a Samsung GT-N7105 from my friend this phone had Kitkat custom ROM(some note 4 clone) on it. I wanted to remove this ROM and install a stock ROM on it .
I downloaded GT-N7105_N7105XXALJ3_N7105OLBALJ1_4.1.1-SHT from a website and flashed it using ODIN. Everything went fine but since then my phone is stuck on the Samsung logo. I am unable to access download mode or recovery mode.
The phone boots up fine but when I hold Volume UP + Home + Power button the 'Samsung GT-N7105' logo keeps on flashing and on releasing the power button its again stuck on samsung logo.
Please advise how to fix this issue.
Flash the latest ROM from sammobile.com using Odin.
Download mode is power, volume down, and home. Since that doesn't work, try a USB jig.
