Tap and hold is not working

Hello everyone,
I'm using my phone with CM7 mod. I want to remove widgets and icons on home screen, trying to tap and hold specific icon, but nothing happens, phone just vibrates a little bit and that's it.. Tap and hold is not working only on home screen, in the menu it works. So please, if anybody knows the solution, i'll be very grateful for this.

Which launcher are you using?

click menu, then more and uncheck lock desktop

screen off and lock app question

hi guys may i ask about the screen off and lock app, i just enabled the delay device locking feature. but after pressing the screen off and lock command (the one with the icon without a hammer) or in the notification screen, it plays the locking animation but after it went to black screen my signal bar (the bar that shows the battery meter, signal meter and time. located in the upper portion of the screen.) will pop up for a second. is this normal?
and when i press the power button the lock animation will not play, how can i set once i press the power button it will use the screen off and lock app.

I used to use this app, and I'm fairly certain you can't (without some deep code work) make the hardware power key operate a different app...The "reflash" of the screen is what made me go away from it, so I wish I could help ya, so I could help myself

Anyone we know if its possible to disable the power button when the lock screen is locked?

[Q] whats 3 dot menu?

i saw a post talking about removing the 3 dot menu im just wondering what that is ?

bottom of the screen there is a small menu button that is on the screen. it has 3 dots going vertically up in the center. (you can always disable this by changing your recent menu button into a menu button and it gets rid of the '3 dot' menu. ) test it on fb

[Bug] Power Off -> Screen On

Hello @all,
anybody of you's got the same bug as I have?
When I turn off the phone by tapping the power button and the back of the phone the screen switches off and quite often switches on immediately again (to the lockscreen)
Also sometimes when I try to enter the Power Menu and longpress the power button the screen switches off, then switches on because it notices that I wanted to enter the power menu and then displays the power menu on the lockscreen...
Maybe a hardware failiure of the power button?
