Go to there web site and start a claim... Just don't submit it.
I get the feeling that there are still more than enough ET4g's in the system.
Don't think there going to start handing out GS3's or Gnex's anytime soon....

They do. They are even giving out the ET4g to evo3d customers that file claims.
Indeed, but I'd expect to start seeing the S3 be substituted around the end of the year.
Actually, more likely the Galaxy Nexus.
I think its a luck of the draw type of thing. Ill try it myself tonight.

You should probably ask this question in the Marketplace >>General, especially if he's done any other trades, purchases etc via XDA.
You can also see if he has info on other forums like androidcentral, android forums etc.
And also check his feedback on XDA and contact other people that have dealt with with him to see if everything went smooth.
If he has no feedback or you're still a bit skeptical, ask him if you both cross ship..

To OP, if you looked at the sellers history he actually had 3 reviews and a 100% rating. Actually just looked him up.....It is also good to read through threads and posts they make. You can sometimes get an idea of what type of person they are.

You could also go through paypal if out makes you feel comfortable. Send an invoice of what your selling and 300 (arbitrary number) he sends you the cash and you post tracking number and he does the three same after he receives your phone. Extra step but if out makes you feel better

It might not be the best idea to get a GNex now because they're pretty outdated.
How is it outdated? As far as I'm concerned the s3 is outdated because it's not running jelily bean. The hardware is not that big of a difference other than the ram.

Doesn't matter how many petitions you have...what matters is how many signatures have signed the petition.

I don't have any idea what it is but, I'd avoid installing it.
That could be a patch for some problem with the bootloader.

+1 anyone know how to turn off ota updates?
I don't know how to turn them off but, you can probably just ignore it for the most part.
It's a small update, I did install it but I ended up bricking my G uninstalling Google Books and Google Music.
If anyone has updated, please verify it didn't do away with local phone search. Samsung did that on the SGS3 because they were afraid Apple would sue them.

I updated my phone. Other than changing the software version from E97010l to E97010o, I haven't noticed anything different. Same kernel and baseband version. I was even able to re-root the device.

I've herd of some over heating issues with the European version where it would get to hot and would not allow certain action to be done. So maybe that's what the update fixed.
