Yeah it does... I think I am about to buy one...
Well, I just bought it. If anybody wants, I can post pics or do a review when I get it... Just let me know..
alright ! sounds good man, i was waiting for the otterbox but i might have to give this a try first lol
make a mini review when you do get it
thanks!
Will do. Should be in by Friday-Monday it says.
It was the only positive thing about my Vibrant. I have a very disappointing Seidio case on my MT4G that was waiting on an Otterbox but will soon be covered in a Trident.

heres an video on the cyclops case

Okay, this is definitely the best case I've ever had (Other MT4G cases I've had are: silicone, black rubberized hard case, and clear hard case). It does add some bulk, however. The material is very high quality and sturdy. There is NO creaking or anything like that. The video right above pretty much shows you everything about it, so I won't go into those details because it is much more effective to actually see it. If I can get a picture of my phone next to another MT4G without a case, I will post that. While it does add some thickness, you can't get true protection like this without a little thickness. Overall, it is a very high quality case, and I am happy with it. If you have any questions, just ask, and I will answer them for you.
Does this case like to collect dust that's all I need to know before I order it

Ordered on ePay from the Oregon seller. It arrived at my doorstep here in the SE in 2 days. Nice case - the design is well thought out and most of all, IT FITS! I kept the Realook and it took a minute or two to install. Looking through their current product offering, I see holsters and I am hopeful one will follow soon for this case.

Ok thanks ordering now can't afford to have my screen crack again even order zagg skin so I wouldn't scratch the back of the phone.

How hard is the case to take off? I was planning on charging batteries via external charger.
- Frank
I think the case is sold out for now.
Also, the case is not hard to take off at all. I did it yesterday while I was driving a manual car in traffic on the highway. Lol...
And one side note, I do notice that the outer silicone case around the edges of the phone does attract some lint after being in a linty pocket, but I love the case overall.
Just got my yellow and black one its awesome I order mines directly from the site http://www.tridenteer.com/categories/HTC-myTouch-4G/Cyclops-Series-by-Trident-Case/

too bad it doesn't come with the kickstand. I'll stick with the one i got from tmobile now. The kickstand is absolutely invaluable.
Oh hell... I just watch the video. Nice. The deal maker for me was finally finding a quality screen protector that covers the entire front side. I also like the fact that the hard case is easy to take off.
Buying this now. Amazon Prime....
Edit: Screw Amazon on this one. "Takes two to three weeks to ship" - yet they have it on Prime. Will just buy directly from the makers.
Does the screen protector effect the proximity sensor? I've had the proximity sensor lock up the phone from being able to hang up on some screen protectors.

I would say no. I got the same case for my girlfriend for her S3 without reading the reviews.
It does protect the phone, but the rubber for the outside gets stretched out and doesn't fit the plastic part anymore. It happened within a month of putting it on. You can get it replaced under warranty, but I'd rather not do a warranty claim every month.
Check out the Ballistics case. I own it and love it.
I'd post the URL but I'm prevented from doing so until 10 posts. It's easy to Google though.
It all depends on what you need. If you need something that can withstand just about anything, yes, because neither trident nor ballistic will make their touch case for the n2. Otherwise, you could probably go with something else

I love my commuter series, the rubber goes under the plastic so it eliminates stretching of the rubber and scratching of the phone.

I used the Defender case on a few of my phones...tuff as nails is a good saying for them and offer a over abundance of protection if you really need that much for day to day usage...I never had a issue with them stretching out and needing a replacement...but I wasn't constantly pulling them off to do battery pulls either.I did wear out some of the rubber ports and had a replacement on that cause though..
On the defender..the screen protector didn't fair well enough for me though..and had the tendency to be a dust magnet underneath it on mine and using the S-pen..I don't know how well they will do...just something to keep in mind.
Last thoughts ...is the all the extra bulk added to a already large mobile device as our Note II's are...which is the main reason I choose to go back to the best case I ever used IMHO...which is the Seidio Surface case with belt clip.I ordered mine directly from the company..but..Best Buy will be selling the non-kickstand version under their Pt branding..and most should have them in stock for the holidays...
If you have never used one of these cases before...I would give some time for places to get them in-stock so you can go put one on and see for yourself if it will work for you or not...you may not like the size or how they fit on your Note...

Amazon has a few cases that are less than 10$ handbook sturdy. I usually trust Amazon reviews. Better to test out a couple cases then to spend 60$! Otterbox is an extremely bulky case. I can only imagine one on an GN2!

Like I said...I feel the Seidio Surface case is the best one out there..In my job...I've dropped mine already (4 feet)..have banged it hard on ladders and other equipment..and it is still perfect..
My Pt case (Best Buy branded Seidio Surface case) I used on my Captivate has taken even rougher treatment over the 2 years I've had it and has not failed..so I'm pretty sold on the Seidio Surface line for all types of bumps & bruises a phone gets on my hip...They aren't water proof...and if you need something for water issues these won't work...but for everything except that and a full onslaught against the screen...they have performed above my expectations of a case and give good gripping while being fairly thin feeling..
Buy a good screen protector like the anti glare/smudge that AT&T stores sell (iFrogz)...and you will have a damn good protection package that looks great too..The Pt case when in stock at Best Buy is about $20 cheaper.

I have the Seidio Surface with the holster. I posted where I dropped it at least 40 feet at a high schoolgame with son and the case did its job

I have used one (not on my personal phone but a friend of mine has one) It does the job well and it looks cool (white note with a black bumper)
My only concern is that metal does not absorb and dissipate shock all that well, so it may transfer the shock of a fall to the phone? Correct me if I'm wrong.
EDIT: sorry forget to include the link.

Thanks for the info, was not really thinking along the lines of dropping my phone by accident your right about the bumper not absorbing an impact. I currently have a capdase case (the one with the metal back and rubber insert) and I have dropped my phone countless times. Has any1 got amy suggestions of a premium case that looks great and protects your phone.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I don't think you can get more premium looking than capdase. Remember it's all down to personal preference, I may think the otterbox commuter case looks good but to another it may look like a brick.
Here are some of the ones I like:
http://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-Rubber...8&qid=1363011421&sr=1-2&keywords=n7000+fosmon
http://www.amazon.com/Carbon-Silver...d=1363011447&sr=1-6&keywords=n7000+metal+case
http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-77-1...qid=1363011512&sr=8-1&keywords=n7000+otterbox
The king of protection, I can personally vouch for:
http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Defe...11616&sr=1-2&keywords=n7000+otterbox+defender
My note fell down a flight of metal stairs in that case, not a problem with it, or the case.

Sucks and hates are two different words but ok. And I guarantee the case I have is different than the defender. My last phone was in a defender case when it was damaged. This case was just released not to long ago and maybe the OP didn't know they have a tougher case that's also waterproof. Just a thought though, could be wrong.

no need for water case i think i will look around for a cool case that has everything
The defender ends up peeling and the outer rubber part barely stays attached to the hard plastic. I've had THREE of the them, I hardly even use my phone and my pockets are never tight and the case never snags. I checked out the Armor by Otterbox today it feels much nicer but it's very expensive and is literally a brick.
The latest outer cases seem stiffer and less rubbery. Have had Ø problems with these...
Otherwise they'll just keep replacing them until you're happy.
Great CS....

I use TPU cases. They're like silicone cases, but they're a little more substantial and do a good job absorbing minor impacts. Plus, they're cheap and come in a variety of styles.
If your using a standard battery UAG is my favorite... rocks.

I had one. Worst case I've ever had. Even at my discounted price of $60 on release day. Way to bulky when a life proof is just as good and not only cheaper but slimmer. Also part of the speaker cover that makes it water proof the screen layer fell off and seemed to be held on with cheap glue or silicon. In 5 years I've never needed a water proof case bit I also take care of my phones. I'd go with a ballistic shell gel. Very nice case and still fairly slim

Hey guys I'm thinking of buying a case for my S3. My pick would be an aluminum case from ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Waterproof-...Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item565b4c15bd
Has anybody got these? They look massive and said it's waterproof. Does it cover completly the device and don't let water in at all ?
Anyway has anybody got low price, trustable waterproof case that you can recommend?

This thing looks super cool!! :good: I wonder how sensitive the touch screen is with the Gorilla Glass covering it.
Also, I'm wondering what effect repeated disassembly will have on it. (changing batteries & sd cards)
The more I look at this thing, the more I like it. I may end up getting it or one like it.
There is another case that is very similar. It just doesn't have the Gorilla Glass cover and isn't watertight. It has a lot of colors though. Still, not being watertight may be a deal breaker. I'll post a link anyways in case anyone is interested. Not a bad price either for a shock proof case. $19.99

LMOA!!! Me either. Still, nice to have just in case of an accident. Especially if you spend a lot of time around a pool or work around water.

If I were to get a waterproof case it would be as a precautionary measure only.
Just curious. Does Otterbox offer a guarantee that the device will not get wet? If it does get wet will they pay for a new device if it's damaged?

No.
As per a chat with their rep:
"Thanks for contacting us here at OtterBox. We strive to make the best defense for your device, but unfortunately accidents happen and damage can still occur to devices even while protected by an Armor case. No protective case is a replacement or substitute for an insurance plan on your device.

It looks like a knock off of the taktik Lunatik case for iphones. Which sell for $100+. So I would buy with caution.
Sent from my Motorola RAZR MAXX using Tapatalk 2
That's why I would never intentionally submerse my phone in water even if the case says it's waterproof. When swimming or doing any other water sport, my phone stays where it's nice and dry.
As I mentioned earlier, I would only purchase a waterproof case as a precautionary measure because accidents do happen. Been there, done that. A bag of rice can only do so much. Lol
Still, I'll have to admit that it's a nice looking case. I'm just wondering how sensitive the screen will be with the Gorilla Glass cover.
@ Yaga18, I apologize for going so far off topic. If you do decide to purchase this case, please let us know what the screen sensitivity is like once it's fully put together.
Thanks.
