Does anyone know where I can get a widget for the HTC TV app? Specifically I am looking for for a widget that has the power on/off button. If a widget for the HTC TV app is unavailable, are there any other apps that have a TV remote controller function/widgets?

Is there a list available that lists all apps that utilize Amazons API for home screen widgets (the content that appears below an icon in the carousel that gives functionality without opening an app)?
I've found that I really really love this feature and use it constantly with Messaging, Email and Silk Browser. The more apps I can get that leverage this, the better!
I'll start it off:
Notepad+ - Integrated very well with the fire phone including 3D enabled carousel icon and home screen widget\
Pinterest - No 3D icon, but utilizes the home screen widgets
Amazon Echo companion app - 3D icon and home screen widget
Ebay - No 3D icon, but home screen widget enabled
PicCollage - Home screen widget enabled
Plex - Home screen widget enabled
Skype - Both 3D icon and home screen widget work well
MapQuest - Beautiful 3D icon and home screen widget
Magisto - Nice 3D icon and home screen widget
Does anyone know of widgets for Sense TV? Specifically I am looking to be able to turn my tv on/off without having to open Sense TV and scroll to the "Power & Input" section[o; I am hoping there is a widget that has power button, preferably only the power button.
If there is no widget to turn my tv on/off, is it simple enough to create my own widget for that purpose?

You could just keep the sense TV app open and the remote will stay in the notification tray. If that isn't enough you could try using peel smart remote. It has a widget.
Hi, I am setting a Fire TV 4K stick for my mother in law, and would like to make it as simple as possible. She only needs to use two apps: Netflix and Youtube. Is there any way to quickly launch one of those two apps? Right now, clicking the home button will show the "Sling App" on top, I have to click the down button two times to highlight the most recent app (Youtube or Netflix) and then press the center button to select it. Easy for us but not so much for seniors.
I looked at Echo Buttons, but they don't support FireTV and looks like they are being discontinued?
I am also wondering if there are android app that can be installed on the phone to launch app on the fireTV. A widget would be perfect, so I could set up two widget buttons on her phone, one for Youtube and one for Netflix.
Any suggestions/recommendations for making it easier for seniors would be appreciated.
Thank you!

I need help figuring out a way to navigate the profiles for the fire tv without having to update the appstore with my older interface roms. The older ui doesn't support profiles so I'm wondering if it's possible to add it while holding the home button?
