Installing s4 weatherWidget in my Phone

Hety Guys.
I'm trying to install Galaxy S4 TouchWiz AccuWeather widget .
I following on this guide :

as he said i can flash the zip file in CWM and thats what i did and it's still not working.
I'm using CM10.1 4.2.2 rom.
what is sulotion ?
do you have another working tuturial ?

The solution is to flash a Touchwiz Jellybean 4.1.1 rom first. LOL

Guys,,, that isnt true... the Galaxy S4 launcher has already been ported several weeks ago to all AOSP roms! Yes, this includes the weather widget. Here is the link... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2236937

[Q] help me! i wanna play hd games!

hello respected admins and staff! i am Awesome_Star, a newbie here recently i bought a samsung galaxy grand duos i9082. Yesterday i downloaded virtua tennis+sd data on my laptop and put it in my phone then the game started and when the match started in the game i see a white screen rather than the game. then i put real racing 2 in my phone and then i see black screen when the race starts i only see the car tyres! then i got to know about chainfire3d...well i didn't read the installation note and installed it then my phone suddenly got stuck on the LOGO!! then i downloaded a stock rom and flashed it from odin.. now my phones working smoothly but i want to know why i cant play virtua tennis and real racing 2 in my android!!!! please answer me fast! i have android jelly bean 4.1.2 please somebody answer me so i can play HD games on my android phone.

Download any Custom Rom specially GeNNxt Rom or any other ROM from this forum
main purpose is to get a lite Rom which does not contain any bloatware(unwanted apps which eats battery samsung apps)
and doing this will give you more Free RAM
after flashing Custom Rom search for 'Games list for Grand' thread Which gives you which games are compatible

I used gennxt rom and it eats much ram without boltwares,
Gaming experience is very gud with stock rom 4.1.2 or 4.2.2 having disabled boltwares

Your problem is not the ROM ...
Its the firmware version ...
You must be using a very old stock firmware which has many game bugs.
Download the latest firmware available for this device. Then try ... everything will work.
Changing to a custom rom wont help.

awww nooooooooooo.....i installed gnenxt rom before reading this and when i click on rebbot its stuck at samsung logo and the phone keeps vibrating what to do now?!

Hmmm...if your phone has official/unofficial build coming CM then yes you can build PAC rom by yourself....but if you don't then i'm sorry...

Id honestly like to see pie controls be integrated in future builds of PAC roms. I loved the customization options they used to integrate in the Epic 4G touch but after that it seemed to just fade away.

You should know, 4.3 is no longer supported, so if you flash this, you will be on your own.

Yes you can. Your android version should be 4.2.2 and BNG3 has that android version. Go ahead and flash.

Just flash the XXUBMJ4 one. The baseband will change.You needn't match the baseband versions.
Also @balliboxer balli bhai is there any possibility that you would port your s5 kitkat rom for grand 2 to grand duos , i would be flabbergasted with joy lol !

Problem in Games
Hi Everyone,
i m facing a problem, after flashing Gennxt when i open regular games (angry bird, candy crush, etc) it shows black squire on every moving object like score, the target. same thing happening with Touchwiz Revolution & Hydroid rom. pls help.

Yeah, this happens in other roms too like xenons cm11. The temporary fix is rebooting.

I see only 2 links, and one is the old one and the other is the latest. Thishttps://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291676321 is the latest ROM download link.

I tried this even but still didn't work. My bootscreen just vanished i will have to flash the rom again this is a problem i think so.
Please provide me an step by step procedure which works perfectly for the rom.

After flashing the files, did you try placing a working bootanimation.zip in /system/media ??

Bootanimation.zip is not available in that folder.
Do i need to flash both the files or only enable.zip???
I have attached my bootanimation try it if it works well or has some problem.
I also reflashed the rom in the device and followed the procedure but my bootanimation just disappears.

Try this. Place your bootanimation.zip in /system/media.
The go to cwm recovery mode and flash the enabler zip(which is in the link to the thread i gave you) . Then reboot. Now tell me if this works lol.

I have sovle this problem the solution is just to reduce DPI to 190 & the games working like charm.

Hey your idea worked well but after the bootanimation is working well but my phone does not boot into cwm not even stock recovery (not sure whether available in this rom) what should I do. It has really messed up my boot process.

Hmm. Try removing the bootanimation .zip file. Maybe it is causing the problem?

FIUI porting for maguro?

Hi,
i found this great rom, very beautiful but there isn't a version for our maguro. I tried a porting from Nexus 4 with this guide but don't boot, so i tried with Galaxy S2 and boot but without a signal and navbar, and other problem.
Is there anyone that can be port this rom? I think that isn't difficult but I do not know what to do.

I tried to port from s3 (i9300) Fiui rom, but i got stuck in bootloop..

I tried to port from Nexus 4 and boot, it seems to work well, but audio doesn't work and i don't know how resolve

Maybe there is some kind of tutorial, how to fix bugs on ported roms? btw, can you upload your port to google drive or something, i would like to test it out.

I used this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/os-porting/port-tool-t3034003 but then there's need to delete and modify some files. So i'm uploading it in google drive

This is the porting with fancy kernel r60 inside. Remember, you don't need flash the gapps, but go to Settings-Accessibilty-Enable Gapps and reboot.
The strange thing is that if you listen to ringtones and sounds notification in Settings-Audio, this works, but videos, youtube, mp3, etc not

Very good, i'll wait news. Anyway i sent an email to fiui and they told me that maguro will be supported soon. I don't know when, but every saturday there is a new build, so we can look this weekend

Hello I am a user of Samsung Galaxy Ace ( s5830i ) and my device has working cm11 and I tried to port fiui rom originally built for htc explorer. Here is the link for that - http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-explorer/development/rom-pico-kk4-4-4-fiui-rom-2-22-t3131273
It is armv6 device but luckily rom booted up but browser and wifi are not working and statusbar is always white and icons in settings app are wierd too. I have attached screenshot for that Help me please.
