I think my spigen is fake now got it from eBay cheap, didn't come with a certificate for authenticity, but the box has hologram but I heard that don't matter. There is no certificate with a number to check online, and the text looks dodgy.

Would you tell us where did you get it from?

I have these two off eBay for about $1.65 USD each
Here it is on a white Nexus 5 (ironic I know). The texture is rubbery, similar to the black nexus 5 but cheaper feeling and not as good. The rubber kind of comes off on the edges after using it for some months. When you get it, there is a lot of edges that are sharp so you should sand it off yourself. I used an exacto knife to carve it off.
Here it is now, photo overexposed to show how scratched up it can get. You can kinda rub it so it goes away.
Close up
Here it is side by side
The sky blue colored one looks very bright when I bring it outside, it really depends on the lighting in the surrounding area too.

You can tell how he words are pressed on the back and side. it is a fake, but no need to buy spigens expensive prdcts anyways, I have had nothing but issues with all the cases I buy from them, both s4 and n5 :/
Yeah its definitely a fake very good fake tho!
I've attached pics of the box.

True dat. Most of the replicas are pretty good now, and only a trained eye can tell the difference. I actually like the "replica" official bumper cases. They look and fit great, and for around 10-12 dollars, you really can't beat it. I've got 3 "official" cases now, and am probably going to buy all the colors. I have the yellow, blue, and green. I've seen a white one, but it's $40 on ebay. For 40? No. Just need the black, grey and red one to have them all. The green and yellow they really pop with color.
But if you get one of these, don't set it on it's back since it's completely flat. You'll wind up scratching the back pretty quick. Since there is a big enough lip on the front face of the case, you can set it on the face and keep it looking good for a while.
I'll take some pics of my cases when the next 2 arrive in the mail. I think I have about 10 right now.

I really like the bugdroid case, but would get the blue or red. Since I have a red nexus 5, red case on red phone might look really good.
I've got the replica Official Bumper case and I'm loving it. Its a perfect fit and seems to protect the phone without much noticeable bulk. Only problem with it is that the matte coating starts to peel off on the sides. But doesn't bother me since I have the black colour. Bought it from Aliexpress for about $11 free shipping within 3weeks.

All my cases!!!
I've got way too many cases to show here, cuz I'm a bit of a case collector
But I'll showcase my favorite cases, which I use the most in my day-to-day life, and the link where i bought them
#1: Spigen Crystal case
This was my first case, and I've loved it since the first minute I used it. Its slim, simple, protects the phone from scratches and light drops and still shows the original back (which is awesome now cuz I'm rocking the True Red dbrand back ). It came with a super thin screen protector, and I'm still using it today. Only problem is it's see-through plastic, so scratches on the case are clearly visible, but i don't mind it that much. Ordered a new one already to replace it when it breaks
#2: Ultrathin protective case from DX.com
Ordered this one just because i thought it was kinda cool, and simple, and cheap its super flexible and not really good against big drops but it is decent against scratches. Its a bit see-through, which is awesome when i combine it with the red dbrand skin.
#3: ROCK classic flip case
Definitely the nicest case i've got. Its thin, minimal, protects against medium drops and scratches, and just looks damn sexy. Bought this one from DX.com, but it seems to be sold out at the moment of writing this. Its very minimal, has no magnetic lock functionality, and also doesnt have a hole for the LED light. Still its really awesome, feels nice in the hand, is compact and easy to use. If you're looking for a simple, sexy, thin and cheap flip case this is the best i could find.
I also have a pouch, a home-made bumper case from a fake Google Nexus 5 case (just removed everything except the border), an s-style rubber case just in case, and a kick-stand case. I also use my phone often without a case, cuz the feel of the dbrand skin is just awesome.
Hope u liked this (way to long) post.
Just got my Carved case today. Definitely the nicest looking case I've ever used. It's pretty slim so I wouldn't expect it to stop a bullet, but Ill probably grab a glass screen protector, cause I'm sticking with this case haha.

I ordered a cheap TPU material case from amazon for something like $7 shipped and its an amazing deal. It's a smoke colored diamond pattern and i chose it because i wanted something easier to slide out of my pocket than the regular cheap rubber silicone cases that get lint all over them and i didn't want to pay a lot of money. I also didn't want a snap on cheap plastic one that might scratch my phone so this seemed like a good choice.

I have grown fond of the tpu cases, especially the argyle pattern and it works well as regard to no lint and being non-sticky. I usually buy it for all my gadgets..xoom, Ipad, and thunderbolt.

I put the screen protector on and gave it about a day and a half, 2 days before i put the case on (the put the case on carefully)
the case sits just a but on top of the screen protector, so far, it hasnt lifted, but whatever, lifetime zagg warranty
mine arrived in the mail, smoke grey colored argyle diamond pattern just like the pics posted. easy to slip on and off but would never fall off. MUCH better than the rubber silicone material yet still nice and smooth and almost rubber or gel feeling. slips in and out of a pocket easily yet feels a little better in the hand, it sort of grips slightly better than the actual phone surface, so better one handed use. very happy for under $10 shipped!

Man this thing came fast! I ordered it last Thursday night, it arrived today. 2 business days from New York, this seller is on it! Not bad considering I live on the West Coast.
Fit and finish:
When I opened up the package and grabbed the case out of it's blister pack the first thing I noticed was the whole thing was not TPU like I thought it was going to be. The shiny plastic part is a hard plastic and the dull part is silicone. The shiny part isn't so hard that it'll break if you bend it, although I wouldn't try tying it in a knot either, it does have some give to it but it's pretty rigid at the same time. The silicone part is nice cause not only does it provide a lip on the front side of the case allowing you to set the phone face down without damaging it, but it also allows the buttons to be pressed as easily as if nothing was over them. Very nice touch! When looking at the phone from the front you can hardly tell it's even got a case on it, very low profile, very little bulk added. From the back it's much more noticeable due to the way it frames the battery cover, which accentuates my white carbon fiber cover perfectly. The lip it adds to the backside is more significant, I'd guess to ensure you don't mess up your camera/flash/speaker/cover when setting the phone face up.
There is room for improvement though....The cutouts are fairly accurate but the top mic opening is a bit off, it doesn't cover the mic but it's noticeably off centered. You can also see the excess from the mold it was formed in and the transitions from plastic to silicone isn't exactly the smoothest. These are the fine details that can make a good product a great one but it won't be noticed or cared about by most. To be honest, I don't even care about it and i'm very particular, but I like to keep my reviews true and honest.
Once caressed into place, the case fits like a glove and looks very nice. The grip in comparison to the Seidio Surface case is significantly better. This is a minimalists' dream! It protects the corners and edges of the phone, has some screen protection, some camera/battery cover protection, while adding insignificant bulk and allowing you to show off your nice battery cover.
Final thought:
Want drop protection with minimal bulk? This case is for you. It feels good in the hand, adds grip, highlights your battery cover by framing it nicely and when handling the phone without looking at it (putting in or out of your pocket, for example) it gives the feel of a naked phone for the most part. I have finally found a setup i'm 100% happy with, minus the screen protector...but that's going to be changed out for a SPG Ultra Nano Clear as soon as I feel like doing it. The seller is awesome, ships super fast and the product is well worth the cost, which is just $7 shipped. Matter of fact, i'm gonna see if they have any other colors available. Highly recommended!
Here's what my phone looks like with my Carbon fiber battery cover, REALook screen protector and full TPU bumper case

I think ur gonna love it. It's amazing to me that this $7 case is much grippier than the $30 Seidio Surface. I can rest this thing in my hand, not even squeezing it from the sides, and hold it damn near vertical before it begins to slide down in my hand. I got it from eBay as well, yes it'll fit perfectly. The only difference between the Intl. version and the US version is internals.
I got my self a pack 2 tone color bumpers 5 for 12 from hong kong with a white carbon fiber back the bumpers are amazing. The fit is small lip on the front and back to keep the screen and camera lense off of surfaces. The button response is flawless, it looks sexy and it fits snug. Im so happy with this purchase

Thanks, I love it. Not sure I can explain it any other way than I already have. I have a TPU case, I can bend and twist that thing however I want and never fear it will break.....cant say the same for this bumper. It's bendable but much more rigid than TPU and certainly feels as if it'll break if bent too much. This isn't a complaint at all as being able to tie my case into a knot is not a prerequisite, its just an observation.
These are the ones i got im currently rocking red.

The Neo Hybrid series of cases from Spigen SGP has been quite a favorite among smartphone users. Including myself, consumers love the unique style the cases offer. Today, I'll be reviewing Spigen SGP’s latest reiteration of the pleasing two-tone look and hybrid combination of TPU and polycarbonate for the Galaxy S III.
Special thanks to www.cretouch.com for sponsoring this review. You can purchase the Neo Hybrid for the Samsung Galaxy S III here for $26.99.
The Neo Hybrid Series for the Galaxy S III includes two different series: Lumi & Color. Both offer different colored interchangeable frames, and a different colored TPU back. Lumi Series use a dark-grey TPU, and the Color Series, a dark purple/jade. The different colors and series can be found at the link above.
Video Review
What's in the box?
In the package, you’ll find the case, one Steinheil Ultra Nano Clear screen protector, a microfiber cloth, a product catalog, and a serial number for authentication. As usual with the Neo Hybrids, it’s nice to see Spigen including a free complementary screen protector.
Installation
I’ve always had to spend a good amount of time to properly install the Neo Hybrid for other devices, but the Galaxy S III variant is very easy to install. All you need to do is assemble the polycarbonate frame and TPU together and slide your phone in, instead of putting the TPU on first and trying to slide the polycarbonate on.
Design
The Neo Hybrid for the Samsung Galaxy S III could not look better. The look created by the colorful high gloss frame and dark-themed matte TPU is just astounding. You really do get what you pay for with this case when it comes to design, something you don’t see often.
Accessibility
An issue I’ve always had with the Neo Hybrid has unfortunately remained the same with the S3 model: the headphone jack cutout. A small opening and recession in the headphone port is always present with the cases. I don’t know why Spigen can never seem to relieve this issue — maybe it has something to do with making the TPU and frame work — but the fact that it occurs here is something to note(especially for audiophiles). Besides this issue though, the case offers precise cutouts for the camera, LED flash, speakers, charging port, and microphones. In addition, the power and volume buttons are protected and covered by the TPU. Some people have mentioned these coverings to cause over-sensitivity, and while this may be somewhat true, I haven’t had any issues with them. Contacting the seller before purchase is recommended if this concerns you.
Protection
While the case looks good, the Neo Hybrid also offers some decent protection as well. TPU is known for being shock absorbent, and the Neo Hybrid certainly has plenty of it. The TPU membrane is moderately thick and should cover impact well. Moreover, with the tight fitting polycarbonate frame, the case should not detach from the phone itself. Protection wise, you should be in good hands with the Neo Hybrid. Also, it’s recommended that you install the included screen protector if you want somewhat of a full-body protection.
Conclusion
I could not recommend the Spigen SGP Neo Hybrid more highly for your Samsung Galaxy S III. It is currently one of my top cases, and for good reasons. It offers a combination of good style and protection. I mean what more can you ask for in a case? While it may be high to some, the $26.99 price tag is more than reasonable with the Neo Hybrid for the Samsung Galaxy S III.
You can find more pics of the case at my blog.

Amen to that. I'm almost regretting getting the pebble blue model because all the pictures of cases always show the white model and I'm unsure of how they will go with the blue that I have. I'm very interested in this case, but I just can't tell how well the different colors would look with the pebble blue. I know spigen has some on their site, but they're kinda tiny and don't show much. If anyone has any with the pebble blue, I'd love to see some pictures.

I actually had a Pebble Blue S3, but I exchanged it for the white . I may just buy a dummy Pebble Blue S3 if requested enough though.
What a coincidence, I just bought one today and I was gonna come on the forum and ask about this. I bought the Infinity White neo hybrid model(I hope it is the revised version). I have a pebble blue gs3. Once I get it I will post some pictures if I can remember to come back to this thread Also aturyan how is the screen protector holding up so far or have you replaced it with something else? I have liquid armor applied on at the moment so once it wears off I want to try this out if it's worth it.

I haven't used it yet because I am awaiting the new GLAS.t temepered glass screen protector. Should hold up well since SGP is notorious for making one of the best screen protectors.
excellent, that's good to hear
SGP cases are really superb! I am getting the green Hybrid since that is my favorite color
How did you get the the blue one? I ordered mine on august 8th ad its almost a month and they didn't ship it yet

Just to note: This is the non-revised version. The revised version offers stiffer buttons according to those who got it.

Oh, you probably should have got it then because you bought from SGP directly. I don't think the blue is out of stock or anything. I'd contact them and ask.

It wasn't out of stock when I ordered it. Just a little bit of bad luck because it was right when they revise it so they pulled the shipment. They also promised me a couple of goodies.

Prob not with the Neo Hybrid because it is a tight fit around the bezel.

Hey guys, there's so many cases on the market, I really can't decide on what to buy. I'm looking for a few, definite things that I must have, however :
Must be as thin as possible
Easy installation (no glue spraying or wetting, etc)
Must come in either black or silver
If someone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks.
After trying incipio, greatshield, diztronic, and Nilkin, IMO Nilkin is the best slim case and thats the one I kept finally.

I did not know there was such a thing as a case that requires glue or wetting Screen protectors yes, but what kind of case needs this?!?
I have a Baseus translucent case. While it looks great because the top and bottom are exposed, I dropped my phone and guess where the impact was?

Neither did I but I guess some of the ones like Ghost Armor require some sort of adhesive and knowing me, I'd totally screw that up and bork my phone.
Anyway, I ended up going with the Poetic Atmosphere case, I hope it's as good as it looks, and it does have very good reviews, so I hope it was worth the price. But it wasn't that much anyway, if I don't like it I will probably just trade it.
Rock has a good line of super thin cases. I'm using a black one and it looks outstanding on the black phone. Only thing is, since it is so thin, it is more of a scratch guard than a drop guard. Aside from that, I can't recommend it enough.

I'm currently using the Incipio Feather. It's pretty thin and fits the HTC One well, but the only problem I have is that the volume buttons are a bit inaccessible if you are pressing the buttons with your right index finger.

I love my incipio feather shine. Just make sure you get the one with the revised cutouts. The regular feather is not an issue. But the shine had a 1st gen style without a proper cutout for power cord. Revised version has power cord cutout and SIM tray cutout added to it. I'm sending mine back tomorrow for the revised version. Already have an rma for it. Case is amazing though. Incredible look and feel. I've had about 5 people ask me. "are you going to get a case for it ?" Then I tell them.. umm.. that IS the case. and upon closer look they see that it does intact have a case and it is not part of the phone.

There are quite a few people that consider things like ghost armor, zagg invisishield, and skinomi full phone protection as a sort of case. I believe this is what the Op meant.

I agree the nilliken is probably the best thin case i've ever used. Comes with a decent screen protector too.
I really cant wait till june for one of these new aluminum bumpers from devilcase. never used one but i think it fits all of my needs. Should protect much better than a slim..

dont know for sure but i think it'll be close. because of the way this phone appears to curve is why im unsure. I actually have a clear zagg on the back of mine though and that turned out great. The front zagg didnt make it but the back has been on since launch, cant tell its there. Ask me again in june if you're interested
Another thing i'm unsure about is if the aluminum will affect the radios. HTC made the sides with plastic because of reception. The aluminum bumpers will cover that.
this case fits great. I use it over my spigen clear.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Clear-Ultra...t=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&hash=item41726f2a24
Must say i love the Poetic FlipBook Case.
Poetic Atmosphere Case or Cimo Grip Back Case Flexible TPU Cover?
Or would anyone else care to recommend a clear, slim case for the HTC One.

OtterBox is good.
Recommend it for you.
I already posted about this case, but I didn't include any pictures, so I'll do it now. This is the Rock Ethereal that I use. I bought the black one, and it looks so damn good on the black. It's as super slim as they come.

Where do I buy this?
It seems like we have two options:
Poetic Borderline or this Abacus bumper, which seems to be the same as this i-Blason bumper.
I just got the i-Blason bumper, and it's pretty terrible. It's large and thick, yet the USB hole is just big enough to accommodate the stock cable, which is on the slim side.
Check the photos below, with the first comparing with another crappy case from caseology, which I thought was bulky as well, and the second a closeup of the 3.5mm hole, showing off the thickness in all its glory.

By that, I mean bareback, border-only ones.
My N5 just shipped, and would love to protect them corners, but leave the back open.
Has anybody found one?

Thanks.
yah that is bad rendering. and i think that looks like an ugly bumper case.

Google made effort to use silk touch plastic... it's a shame to cover the back.
Where are the regular bumper like the officiel Nexus 4 one.
three colors one a phone are too much imo, I'll pass on these one... I think I would by something transparent + color though
Poetic cases are good, but not attractive at all. They will probably be the only bumpers we get.
Currently i'm leaning towards a full case with a clear back, or just going full dbrand skin and a screen protector.

The price is a bit high, but I'll admit that I probably would have ordered one with my phone if they had been available, mostly because it says nexus on the back.
Spigen and Ringke both have bare back bumpers which I am looking at as well. Just don't know which to get. Both on Amazon. Just search for Nexus 5 bumper.

I'm interested in buying it. Are the sides that are black bulky at all? I'd like it if it were pretty slim. How are the button placements? Mushy or firm? Does the clear backing look/feel vulnerable to scratches? Thanks!

Sides don't seem any bulkier then a Cruzerlite case but are harder plastic. Don't have my phone yet so can't tell you about the buttons other then I suspect they will be firm. Back is hard plastic so I'm guessing it won't scratch easy.
Can provide more feedback when I get my phone Monday.

How's the inside of the case? Any causes for concern that the case might mark the case or any part of the finish inside that might rub on the sides of the phone when on?
Just I have had bumper cases before that can cause marking on the actual phone through poor finish on the inside which is what you don't want from something made to protect your phone
Cheers in advance

Inside it just feels like real smooth hard plastic. Didn't feel any sharp edges that would rub and wear.

I just bought a spare one to wait for a good 'real bumper' to hit the market in europe (the poetic will cost me double the price because of the delivery from usa, and and don't like it, aesthetically)

SOLD. These look very nice, and though their version for the N4 had some issues, this N5 version looks like it'll be just fine with the 2 piece design instead of one solid piece. and some nice color options.
Just sucks there is no prime and it's going to be a few weeks.

Yeah, I have one of these for my n4. Survived one fall(concrete), corner of case little scuffed, n4 fine . Never took it off once I put it on, used it with a horiz holster during the warm month, breast pocket of winter coat o.w. or just lying on a table/carried by hand.
What do you do sit and stare at your case all day? Frankly I don't even notice it.
Note: mine never fell apart like some of the Amazon reviews for the n4 version claimed OTOH I wasn't putting it on/removing it every other which I suppose could account for it eventually pulling apart...
I've already ordered the hybrid & slim armor(wanted something available now since the only time that I dropped the n4 was shortly after receiving it), plus the other case listed in the threads here. Might end up ordering this again IF I don't like the three that I've got on order already(well the slim shipped should be here same day as n5).
Now all I need is another horiz holster w/belt clip as I'm sure the one that fit the n4 isn't going to fit the n5 as it was already a little tight with n4 + bumper case...
