[HELP..!!!] Incredible S converted to Droid Incredible 2... - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Assalam o Alaikum,
I want help to revert HTC Droid Incredible 2 back to HTC Incredible S..
All this happened previous year when I was new to Android, I rooted the Incredible S running ICS 4.0.3, then did S-OFF and SuperCID.. I was totally noob at that time and flashed Verizon Droid Incredible 2's GB 2.3 RUU..
I flashed this >>> (RUU_Vivo_W_Gingerbread_S_VERIZON_WWE_5.10.605.9_Radio_1.09.01.1111_NV_VZW1.92_release_225831_si.exe)..
RUU flashed successfully, I think bcoz of S-OFF and SuperCID.. After that I bought HTC Amaze, so Incredible S was not in use.. Now I am using the same Incredible S again and wants to return back to Incredible S ICS RUU.. I tried to flash Stock ICS RUU (after relocking the bootloader) first it failed saying Model ID Error.. I fixed that by pulling "rom.zip", extracting it and including the current Model ID in "android-info.txt".. Re-zipped the "rom.zip" and renamed it to "PG32IMG", placed it on root of SD-Card, it prompt me to flash the update so I selected YES but then I got "Partition Update Fail" while it was flashing "Radio_V2"..
PLEASE Help me to flash Incredible S Stock ICS RUU..
I want to flash this RUU:
(RUU_VIVO_ICS_35_S_HTC_WWE_4.14.405.2_Radio_20.76.30.0835U_3831.19.00.19_M_release_281519_signed)
Currently Bootloader is showing this:

Strange, it went well but still same problem. Is ur phone a pvt1 model? Turn off phone then vol down + power to get bootloader and check. If it is, then could be overheating (hardware) issue that is known with those models.

You can not use an ruu lower than your main version number that's why its not working. You can restore a nandroid corresponding to your cid though. You can only flash a Lower ruu version with s off

I tried downloading and installing other RUU, but some of them won't even run (not even on Windows 7). I think they call CID 11111111, 'SuperCID', wich pretty much can accept most RUU (as far as I know).

[Q] DHD S-On but flashed, RUU SEARCHING! [Solved]

I got root access yesterday(with kit), i installed cwm recovery too(with adb im new to it), but i flashed a 4.2.2 rom and i didnt know i had to get it S-OFF first,
now its stuck on boot screen but recovery works...
easy unlock thingie downgraded something with Hboot
now the menu is like;

HBOOT
and the options goes like;
Code:
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
FACTORY RESET
SIMLOCK
IMAGE CRC
selecting fastboot takes it to hboot and then again to fastboot
the recovery takes me to CWM, which gives me access to sd card. and i can install packs thru it.
i doubt ADB is still working.
i put this "RUU_Ace_Sense30_S_HTC_TUR_3.13.468.2_Radio_12.65.60.29_26.14.04.28_M_release_227499_signed.zip" into card and flashed but it just aborted. That zip pack has a couple img packs in it and thats it ( downloaded from shipped-roms.com )
Please help me this is the only phone i currently have. I dont know where it was bought from. So i thought i had to try TUR version since it must be bought from a shop in here (turkey).
kits dont work either i cant boot.

now can someone please show me what ruu zip i download
Edit: Solved. A rom somehow did it.
1. You can't flash ruu via clockwork mod.
2. The ruu is probably just zipped up so extract itthen run the exe.
3. Maybe if that doesn't work you need to rename the zip to exe.
4. The zip file may need to be renamed to PD98IMG.ZIP (capitals) put onto root of a sd card then reboot into bootloader.

Was error did it give?
you need hboot 1.03 to make root with htcdev
this can be done e.g. with Firmware 2.29.405.14 and upgrade with PB9920000_Bravo_Froyo_hboot_1.03.0003_R.exe on HTCdev site BUT
you should Downgrade your firmare first, but
That unpossible without ROOT.
i have a similar problem and has not yet been solved
Android 2.3.3,
3.14.405.1
HBOOT 1.02.0001
That happened after i make downgrade from 1.03 hboot to get the full s-off,
but I didnt know what revolutionary.io is down
then I would have immediately made a downgrade to a lower version.
You can try to get a root that's in this way that I have described , but I can not try it - my power button do not work in stock recovery.

For a long time I tried to fix my HTC Desire. I had s-off, 2.3.3 Gingerbread and hboot 1.02.001 after official upgrade straight from phone. I tried to unlock the bootloader, but without any success. I tried also GoldCard method and find some modified Ruu version .. and nothing.
Then i start think.....
I download 3.14.405.1 Ruu and start it, with Task manager i open package location, copy it in new folder and start research... Basically i found out i can make pre-upgrade hboot, i download ruu from htcdev.com/bootloader start it and from temp folder copy rom.zip and paste it in that new folder, and simply start the process.. After i can follow htcdev.com bootloader unlocking skipping ruu upgrading and root it, then just get from market Rom Manager and install recovery... Finish!
Sorry for my bad english...

Problem going back to stock ROM after installing Google Play Edition with TWRP

Hello there.
I searched through several threads here (and other places) and I'm unable to solve the problem.
I have a HTC M8 European standard version (eg. Sense). I unlocked the bootloader using the official way and installed Marshmallow using OTA.
I was in the mood of trying Google Play Edition and reaching S-OFF (using Sunshine), rooting the terminal and with the help of TWRP, GPE was installed and it is working.
Now I want to go back to my senses keeping S-OFF and the terminal unlocked. And the problems began. Using any RUU, IMG or whatever I am unable to go back. A lot of links in some guides are broken and trying several RUUs in what seem to be the best places (below), I am unable to install it. With TWRP is the error 7 (that I am unable to solve) and with RUUs tells me the ROM is not the appropiate one:
The information about my terminal is as follows:

Thanks for answering.
If I understand you correctly I do not need to relock the telephone. Am I right?
Cheers.

That is correct. With s-off, you never need to relock the bootloader in order to RUU. The bootloader lock check is bypassed with s-off.
Hello there.
Thanks for the help. I'm back to my senses.

Thanks again ckpv5 and redpoint73. :good:
Cheers.
