moto grip shell do work or moto g flip cover but i saw issu with flip cover that navigation and compass is not correct

Motorola's grip shells are pretty good. Makes phone easy to hold & provides good protection to the phone.
Otterbox all the way defender if you want the screen protector or cumuter version of you want just a plastic on screen

It did for me. I guess the rubber edges can absorb some impact.

Basically just what the title asks. Can anyone point me to the slimmest case available that offers some protection for the camera? Thanks in advance.

I am using the Spigen one. I think it is the slimmest that still protects for the camera bump.

I went through quite a few cases and ended up purchasing the Nillikin case and absolutely love it. I needed a case with added grip and some camera protection.

It does not protect the top and bottom like many snap on cases but is thin and has a raised area around the camera. I'd be comfortable laying the phone on a flat surface now. I have the spigen rugged armor which is thicker and protects the entire phone.

Looks sweet. Thanks.
Can't comment on Nillkin or Spigen cases, never had them. I went Ringke Fusion on the LG G4 and have never looked back. Received my v20 case today (clear/smoke) and put it on. It's VERY marginally recessed compared to where the camera bump is. Is perfectly flat/balanced on an even surface, so you can operate the phone one-handed on the desk if you need to.
My recommendation is to leave the plastic film on the back of the phone where the camera is, any protection you can give it without affecting photo quality will help. I just need a good screen protector now...
Hope that helps.

I'm using the Encased Slim Shield... I like it. Thin, covers everything (camera protrusion as well), fits perfectly, & feels nice in the hands.

Nillkin also makes one that is a TPU case. I had it on my N6P & it was really nice. I opted for the Encased this time because I wanted a hard case, TPU never keeps it's full shape after a while..
Spigen... very nice case
Spigen rugged armor.. it's thin, nice looking and protects all that is needed
http://www.spigen.com/collections/lg/products/rugged-armor-lg-v20-case
I tried the Spigen Liquid Crystal Case and it is the most minimalist but doesn't have enough protection in my opinion.
I ended up returning it not for that reason, but due to the "yellow" tone of the case itself...I contacted Spigen and they are looking into replacements.
I purchased the Ringke [Fusion] Clear PC Back TPU Bumper in Smoked Black...perfect fit and better protection that looks great with the Titan V20.

If you want something with protection while being slim, I'd suggest the UAG LG V20 Plasma Feather-Light Rugged. Been using it since I got my V20 and it's slim and light with plenty of grip, originally I thought that it'll be big and bulky like the OtterBox cases but it's slim enough and knowing it's UAG you don't really have to worry about protection. Even tho it's pricy it's worth it.
You can consider using the Verus crystal bumber case, this and others like spigen to name a few are your only option, just keep the protection film on for added protection, for me I also added a tempered glass protector for both camera lens without any affect what so ever.

I ended up buying this case. It arrived today and my search is now over. There's simply no way a V20 case could be slimmer than the Nillikin while still offering camera protection. It's awesome. EXACTLY what I was looking for, so thank you!
The top and bottom are protected well enough with the lip extensions on each end.
I bought this off aliexpress, and it's pretty great. perfect fit and some improvement in grip.
http://www.nillkin.com/english/proshow.asp?mid=2&sid=0&tid=0&cid=1&scid=&id=6497&page=1
downside is, it's glossy and quite the fingerprint magnet especially in a humid country like SG, and the alignment is slightly off for the fingerprint/home button.
otherwise, the port covers are awesome and it'll definitely prevent the lint buildup.
looking to get a tempered glass next.
also, for SG sets, it comes with a promotional pack of 3 back protectors and 2 iRing and a screen protector. will upload pictures soon!

I agree, one of the thinniest case around with the best protection, the case has a built in dust cap for both the charging port and headphone socket.

Are there any cases that protect the screen edges as well, along the length of the phone?
Im Using the Spigen Neo Hybrid.. Covers the edges and corners really well.. only down side is No glass protector so far fits
I have the Spigen tough armor and it doesn't offer much if any edge protection. Not happy with how the phone feels in it either. The top and bottom bezels aren't enough imho

To me the long screen edges of the phone on your picture look raised up higher than the case and exposed to possible impact.
Being using the Spingen Ultra Hybrid S for the past 4 days. covers the corners pretty well and comes with a kickstand which id very useful. Picked it up on ebay for less than $16. worth a try.
Got this one
It has a premium kickstand from Zenton, it is one heck of a deal for $7.95!!! On AMAZON!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYXXBD6
According to pics noone knows what I am talking about or make better pics.
After some searching it seems these may be worth a try:
-Otterbox defender
-Speck Candyshell Grip
-Unicorn Beetle
-Caseology Vault
Trust me, from Note7 experience, this is very important.

I bought a Gear4 case in store for £29.99 because I wanted a case straight away but now realise that as big and rugged as it looks, the screen is raised above the edges so any side impact will shatter the screen.
Especially with how breakable s8 is:

Yep, had the Speck Candyshell Grip case on my Nexus6p and it's awesome protection and feel. Will be getting one for my S8 Plus...

It is not something to be taken for granted. Try it and let us know. A review did say it has raised edges but what the author means is not clear. Also this case for Note7 model did NOT protect the long edges.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MS7TMRY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That one has the best edge protection I have found. I got the same case on my Note 7 and my S7E for the very reason that it comes up over the edges more than most cases.
I will say that it came up higher (actually taller than the main screen) on the Note 7. On the S8+ it doesn't come up quite as high on the sides, but still is far better than any other cases for protecting the sides short of a case that is so bulky it basically makes the phone twice as big as it is.
Had a clear thin Spigen case...finger prints were driving me crazy and did not feel safe with that case, so I just go the Spigen Tough Armor Galaxy S8 Plus Case with Kickstand and Extreme Heavy Duty Protection and Air Cushion Technology for Galaxy S8 Plus (2017) - Gunmetal from Amazon for $16.99. It feels good in the hand, has a great look (got over not seeing my orchard gray phone back) the cut out are for camera, finger print sensor and heart rate sensor makes it easy to find location to use finger sensor...do not fumble around trying to figure out where my finger goes...fast unlock. provides great clearance for phone face down.
Wireless charging works great with it....have not received my Gear VR yet, so do not know if case adds distance from face to change picture and degree view.
I do have a car holder that uses a magnet and a metal plate you put behind the case...the plate effect wireless charging...has been the case with other cases and phones.
Very happy with this case (have not tried a screen protector with it yet either)
Any new information here?

Your link is a page not found on amazon, cute dog though
Lifeproof has a full envelope for $90 but I want the holster clip like my Otterbox. For now making due with a Defender, but leaning towards biting the bullet on the Lifeproof for the full screen protection.
I would suggest a Speck Presidio
Have one, awesome protection so dont worry it you drop it.
Will my Z Play remain protected if dropped with a tempered glass protection and this plastic cover?(See image attached)
I'm currently using the device with transparent rubber cover (And tempered glass)and it has protected my device 2-3 times.
I have ordered now this plastic cover and worried about if it'll protect the device or not?
I will use the device with that cover and tempered glass.
What do you people think?
Will it protect?
That is what I do here.

Plastic covers can never save your phone when it slips. I use Bracevor's Transparent Dark Black cover, stylish and armoured too.

Otterbox will definitely protect your Z Play.
And for the headphone jack you can go to any belt shop in your area and request them to make one hole.
It would be easy to go.
Hello
what is better from the curved protectors for:
diztronic case
ringke fusion
Spigen Rugged Armor
thank you
Rinke= IS
Spegen=WS unless you sand down the sides of the case. Easy to do btw. WS is good with every case, but the gap between collects lint and dust.

the black case came yesterday and it is perfect, highly recommended.
it has nicer cutouts and a nicer feel in hand than the jelly one that came with it.
it kinda feels like holding the phone with no case and fits perfectly snug.

Case arrived today. I love how it fits perfectly. It has a very nice texture at the back for extra grip. The power and volume buttons are very tactile. The lips are raised enough to protect the screen very well. The fingerprint scanner cutout is designed beautifully that your finger just slides over it.

I don't think tempered glass would fit perfectly with thos case. As this case edges are very close to the display leaving little to no space at all. You can use tempered glass or plastic screen protector that does not cover the whole glass.
I am sharing some pictures for you to see how it fits on the phone.
