Onyx M9
Introduction:
The idea behind this ROM was to create something as close to stock as possible while removing the performance & battery robbing Verizon bloatware and other unnecessary services. Several tweaks have been made "behind the scenes" but care has been given to assure that the experience remains true to what HTC intended. This is a work in progress however, in it's current Beta state the ROM is stable. Battery life and performance has improved significantly though mileage may vary.
ROM Information:
Based off Verizon 1.33.605.15 release-keys
Android 5.0.2, Sense 7 - Deodexed
Features:
System, Cache and Data partitions are trimmed after installation.
Debloated: most VZW applications have been removed, excluding those which are required for core functionality.
Init.d support added.
SuperSU installed / rooted.
WiFi / USB Tethering enabled.
Visual Voice Mail enabled.
Power Saver setting enabled and on by default.
Auto-Reporting / Logging for HTC / Google / Verizon has mostly been disabled.

Default Home pages reduced to 2: Blinkfeed and Home-Screen.
Removed Sense "Smart Folder" widget from the default Home-Screen, still accessible from the widgets menu.
Replaced Verizon boot animation with the "Android L" variant.
Default HTC Theme / Accent Colors have been modified for Onyx. The "HTC Default" accent colors have been added to Accent Colors.
Added stock M8 wallpapers.
Added SteelDesigns wallpapers by Christian Giordano.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the rom going? It seems my Google play services needs updated right away and I lose my Google account and can't add it back.

jtommyj,
When you go through the initial setup and add your google account, when you navigate to the Play Store what happens? Are you saying that your google account gets removed? is it acting like you never setup a google account?
In regards to the play store needing to be updated, this is because the version that ships with the stock rom is one version behind. Play Services should automatically update the Play-Store to: v5.6.8
In the next release, I'll be sure to update all of the built-in applications to the latest iterations by default. The reason I didn't choose to do this as a standard option is because, some people prefer the older, "factory" installed versions over the updated ones.
I tried to replicate this on my device from a completely clean wipe and I'm not seeing the same issue you are.
If you can provide any additional details, I'll look into it and see if I can find anything out of place.
Thanks!

This rom is really old. Don't recommend it for use on the m9 as the latest stock builds fix all kinds of problems.

Hi all,
This is a thread in which will try to keep track of "unofficial" changelogs. From my point of view Huawei does a really poor job at doing changelogs and some features or changes don't end up in the official list.
Disclaimer:
- Device: EML-L29 C432
- Initial software 8.1.0.106
- Carrier: Orange Romania
- All updates will be received via official OTA or full package from HiCare and I'll try to make my best in finding new stuff.
Changelogs
Update 9.1.0.311 changes - 17th August 2019
QR Code scan now works while offline (from lockscreen, really helpful when you want to scan a wifi share QR so you won't need to input the password again)

EROFS, GPU Turbo and other Huawei stuff (I could not find updates in Settings UI though)

What do you mean by "not aprovved to install"?
I've got an EML-L09 and on the update menu it appears that the 8.1.0.130 version is ready for being downloaded and installed. I download it but it doesn't install.
By the way, my phone is rooted.

I can confirm AAC Bluetooth codec is now working. For those of us with aac Bluetooth headphones this was really important as it fixes many quality and signal strength issues!

The latest China stable Pie rom V10.2.3.0.PDTCNXM isn't presented at official download website yet.
http://www.miui.com/download-353.html
It is a second Pie China stable rom and none of them is released officialy yet so it is presumable that Global, Xiaomi.Eu and other variants based on Android P are not good as they should be.
quote (google translated) from kuaibao website:
http://kuaibao.qq.com/s/20190329A08HIM00
The problem that is fixed in V10.2.3.0.PDTCNXM is:
Long screen cannot be pulled down to the end;
The processing strategy after the card is not showing in the dual card scenario is optimized.
Fixed the problem of occasionally turning off the floating notification,
the floating notification still shows the problem, and the problem that the charging circle overlaps with the expected charging time when the screen is locked;
In the setting, the synchronization page is clicked, the synchronization is invalid, and the mobile phone name is set to the maximum length,
Hotspot. The problem that can't be opened;
There is the problem of fixing the file open after cutting the picture video in the private folder in the file manager.
This update has a lot of bug fixes.
However, some say that the update package they received was 1.9G. Why is the same model phone different? In fact, this is a problem left over when the previous Android P was pushed. Due to several bugs, the package was later removed, and some users did not receive the Android P update. This time, after the repair, xiaomi pushed Android P again, users who have not updated Android P before have received the 1.9GB update package. The ones that have updated the Android P, they received the 223MB update package.
