Before anyone bashes me, I've already searched.
I cannot find any guides on how to replace the Lumia 900 glass. The screen is very expensive, and I only want to replace the glass. Please help. Any guides or videos would be very helpful.

If you cracked your glass on your streak and are looking to replace only the glass I have one. I replaced the lcd on my streak and the one I bought came with the glass. While I was repairing my phone i managed to separate the glass from the LCD. If anyone is looking shoot me and email, im willing to sell.

hi 1st off sorry if this has been posted, i have had a quick look but could see anywhere.
i dropped my DHD and the screen smashed. i can still use the phone and have been for some months now. i have a screen protector on it or the glass would have fallen out. i am looking at getting it fixed but ive been quoted between £50 - £100. i have looked on ebay and can find a digitizer for £20 and found a video on youtube to follow.
before i buy the digitizer off ebay i just want to be sure that it is the digitizer that is smashed not the lcd but im not sure.
thanks in advance
It's the digitizer.
Sent from my Motorola Startac running Atari 2600 software!
be very careful , i wouldn't recommend this operation to somebody without experience.
The lcd is glued to the frame and is very hard to remove it, you need a lot of patience, and after that you need to unglue the digitizer form the LCD, another risky operation.
If you succeed probably the bezel that surrounds the LCD will be bent and ugly and the digitizer won't be flush with the housing, you need to reapply glue so it will stick well to the LCD.
Talking from experience....
and btw the quotes your getting are ranged between £50 - £100 because they'll probably just replace the whole LCD+digitizer assembley

Hi
Screen of ATT Nokia Lumia 900 got cracked after it fell from waist height on to hard floor. YES, it cracked! Screen is responsive though. Just that the places where it is cracked kind of feels odd when fingers move on them. All touch events work fine.
Any suggestions on how to get it repaired or can ATT / Nokia can do something about it?

You'll have to get your own new screen and replace it. Can find them on eBay or something similar. But, they are quite expensive.

Hi all!
Unfortunately, today I dropped my Lumia 900 and the glass is broken .
I found out that there is no chance how to buy only digitizer and I must buy also LCD.
But there is the way that I can buy only glass without digitizer.
I don't know how to replace it? Has anybody tried this?
Was it difficult or do you have any other idea?
Thanks very much

The glass is likely fused to the display so it's only sold as 1 piece.
Well, do you think this will be functional? Or it's risky and I broke the digitizer?

Hi everyone.
I've asked this same question in another existing thread that for some reason got deleted. Because of that I don't know if someone replied to my question, so here it goes again:
My G4 camera lens got scratched yesterday, probably because of some sand getting in my pocket, since I'm on vacation.
I've searched on eBay and there are some replacements that sell for around 20€/23$. My question is, are they "legit"? I mean, are they made of the same material than the original lens, or are they probably just cheap plastic?
The scratch itself is more of an airline scratch that is only noticeable under bright light, but I'm really picky about my phones, and I did some search and the cover is not even that hard to replace.
Can someone help, please?
This may be worth a read. This user didn't mention any issues with the replacement part he bought, and the install sounded easy.
