go to settings apps tap the app you want to move and it will say move to external ,not all apps can be moved
download mounts2sd app from appstore. its free.
i am using it and it works perfectly.
all my applications and application data is now in 64gb card and leaves me with lots of space in internal memory.
application data in sdcard makes phone a lil bit slow though.

Searching for 10 days..
My phone is rooted,s on, insertcoin custom rom, I can move manually apps+ data (using es explorer) to sd But the link isn't done between the app and the data, I mean the app doesn't work and always want to download data again..
I tried mounts2sd but it doesn't find sd_ext and so doesn't make the job...

ok. no worries mate.
following is the way i did and proved to be working.
1. format your sd card
2. create a fat32 partition. it has to be primary partition.
3. create a ext4 partition. it has to be primary partition.
4. create a linux swap partition. it has to be primary partition.
5. better to start with a fresh rom installation. you can try with already installed rom.
6. install mounts2sd.
7. start mount2sd and go to application settings and install script.
8. in settings select the folder you want to move.
9. enable swap.
10. restart the phone - without restarting script won't take effect.
DONE!!!!
Oh god I need to return to high tech school!
Format Linux, format fat 32 partitions....
Which app to format all this?
My sd card is 32 go how many go must be designed to each partition?
I have max 10 go of medias and 15 go of game and gps data and nandroid backups..

use minitool partition manager.
you will find fat32, ext4 and linus swap option in that.
in a 32gb card you will get 28-29 usable free disk space. if it was me i would have done 23gb media and 5-6 gb ext4 and 256mb of linux swap.
cheers
Hum, I suppose minitool partition manager is a Windows app and that the job will have to be done mostly on pc right?
I have found this link on Google is it what you're talking about : http://www.noypigeeks.com/android/tutorial-a-guide-to-link2sd/
Quite the same no?
Isn't it possible to make the partition job in twrp 2.7 ?
Ok first thing I backup my sd card on my computer

Yes these apps are nice, I tried them but you still have some link limitations if you don't apply @dying4004 method..

And so what are the bad consequences of mounted Linux?
Yesterday I formatted 3 partitions with his method on my external sd card, half of my apps had gone, the phone took 7 minutes to reboot...maybe I made a mistake I will try again today with a fresh Rom !
Why is it so complicated with this phone to put app+data together on sd card and make them work? ! ! !

I tried mounts2sd, followed all your instructions and partitioned my SD card as you suggested. I just can't get it to work. When I rebooted I was taken to the 'getting started' section (like a fresh install) but couldn't complete it... constant 'play services errors'. In the end I just reflashed ARHD without mounts2sd. Can you think of anything obviously wrong that I might be doing?

Where are you @dying4004 ?
Seems like the problem is caused by su but i am not sure..

guys, here is the official xda link for mounts2sd.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432479
* i have found out that moving dalvik cache to sd causes play services and other errors. it might be a different issue as well but for now i am keeping dalvik in internal.
* if after a restart you get few services error then simply force restart the phone and things will become normal upon restart.
i am running mounts2sd with viperone. it should be compatible with other roms but i havent tested them.
cheers

I tried again to run mounts2sd, followed all instructions and encountered 'play services errors' again. I forced reboot a couple of times but still the same issues. Then I turned off, waited a few seconds, turned it back on (which took quite a while) and all is working fine.
I think you need to turn off after enabling the script rather than reboot.

So just one simple question now:
Can you move a full app (ex game + data, ex dead trigger , 136 mo) to sd card and make it working ?
Because I can't. It is said : "link is created with sd card" but the app doesn't find its data if they aren't on tel storage anymore!

i believe it depends on the game/app itself.

May I ask you the exact way or commands you execute to "move" all the app (for example rr3) ? In which order?
First you download the app and...?

Backup all your staff and format card. Or just ignore it, probably it is nothing
check it on your pc, I think Iknow what is the problem...
use minitool, the same to create a partition for apps2sd, s2e, link2sd etc...
then there is problably a big "partition" with allocated space, this is usnused space, completely empty, but has to be added to thecsystem in order to use it.
click the resize button and move the allocated space to the partition, till there isnt anymore left
If you format your sd card, the problem should be fixed I guess... If it isn't fixed, I should buy an other one.

Is it possible to format internal storage and then use Odin to flash ROM? Or do I have 2 save some files that may not be deleted. My problem is this, the internal SD has about 10 gig that can be used, I have 3.7 gig free but I have only used about 2.5 gig, so I'm missing 4 gig.
So I want 2 format and start from scratch.
Maybe I post this in the wrong section, forgive for this.

You can do that by reseting your phone by:
Settings -> Back up and reset -> Factory data reset.
Be sure to backup your contacts, pictures and anything important to you from the internet storage before reseting because after that the phone will be empty from all installed apps as all apps are installed in internal storage and you have to reconfigure your accounts and stuff from scratch.
Tnx I have formatted via PC so now my internal storage is almost 10 gig and rom is still running. I guess where the rom is stored you can not touch with formatting. Good thing so I'm cool with it. This is what I wanted, I taught that if the internal SD is formatted the rom is also gone, that's why I asked. Tnx for the reply.

Could be kernel related and/or format related. Works fine with flars kernel and any sense rom with my exFAT-formatted SDcard, does not work so with GPE and flars GPE kernel on this SDcard.
Usually after installation FolderMount will do a check on your SDcard and offer you to reboot your device if changes are necessary. After reboot it should be good to go.
Else you should read here: Mounts2SD

At the beginning you select what folders you want moving to sdcard, you.can use the built in app analyser which shows what folders take the most space, also when you buy premium you can mount almost anything, I even mounted the full internal sdcard to the external but it's not recommended
No it does not format sdcard, the app also fixes android permission for 3rd party apps to write to external sd

So to some up, apps get installed on internal memory and all data that usually goes in the internal sdcard is actually moved to the external storage

Just found an app that moves obb to sd card look on the play store for an app called GL to SD from tnslf2kk. Root is needed!
You have to launch the app from within the app or it will re-download the obb files.
Or you could just install the obb on sd xposed module and move whatever data/obb you want to sd and start app/game as normal through the launcher.

Anyone know how can i use Link2sd on Elephone P8000? I want to use the second partition of my sdcard to link my applications data. I've partitioned the sdcard. Link2sd see the second partition and asks me the file system of this partition (ext2, ext3, ext4, fat32 ecc). I tried all of this file system, but Link2sd says all times me "invalid argument".
Sorry for my English!! I hope that you can understand me
Well depends on if you partitioned your Sd card well try the process again
