Hello guys,
I need a minute from you
My old original htc charger is lost and i need to buy a knew one quick! As i unable to find a htc one i'm planning to buy a samsung one but the problem is that the samsung charger gives an output of 2 ampere whereas the htc one gave output of around 1 amp. So the question is will it blow up my phone or damage it?

Is it safe to charge Desire with htc touch HD charger?

Hello!
As in topic. Didn't get charger that could be used in Poland. Fortunately I got an old one from my previously used HTC Touch HD.
At both of them, there's info that says
Input 110-220V 50hz
Output 5v 1a
I've already charged it with this and the only weird thing is that battery gone really hot, so here's my question : as I didn't charged Desire with packed one I cannot say is that something wrong with HD"s one (heating) or that's normal and I've nothing to worry about?
Take care!
You've got nothing to worry about.
It's cool, bro.
Most manufacturers now have a standard charger, so long as the adapter fits (which most use micro or mini usb now) then you are fine to use it.

[Q] Car charger

Hi
I have question about car charger.
I have one from my old HTC Universal.
Can I used it for my new HTC WildFire (of cos with adapter from miniUSB to microUSB)?
Thanks.
ps.
On my indoor charger for HTC Universal Output is 5V - 1A
This same is for indoor charger for HTC WildFire so I just ask to be sure it will be no difference except plugs?
yes you can that work for me

You also can buy a solor USB charger...I love it when I travel by car or biclycle.
I bought one for a 40$ and it's small and easy to carry...and you don't need a car
you can

[Q] Can you suggest me a good external charger for HTC One X?

Hi,
this week I'll get my HTC One X and I'm looking for accessories for this wonderful phone... Can you suggest me a good external micro-usb charger? I'm concerned about not damaging the battery of the phone, since I don't know if the external chargers charge the battery at a proper speed (maybe they give too much power or too few to the phone .. )...
Any idea and/or suggestion?
Thank you!
Hey,
there is already a discussion regarding this in the accessories section pal

However, I recommend a powermonkey charger or a pebble charger, they have done me well in the past.

[Q] HOX Charger!!

one quick question..
does it make any difference if i use a samsung charger instead of the stock HTC?
am sorry if it is a noob question but i read somwhere in the forums where it was advised to use the stock charger but i was really not sure if it really makes a difference or no..
pls suggest..
As long as the output is stated as 5VDC you should be fine. Everyone in my office are always swapping/lending chargers from every type of android phone. I've yet to have heard of a problem. Samsung, Motorola, BlackBerry, Sony chargers have all charged my phone to date. Just output current that sometimes varies. A BlackBerry one is only 600ma so is quite slow to charge compared to say a HTC or Samsung one at 1A.
The ones you want to avoid are the cheap eBay ones. They have poor ac/dc converters and lousy regulation and smoothing which can cause battery heating and touch screen issues.

thanx dude!!

Htc One M8 charging port replacement still sporadic charging

The charging port in my Htc One M8 was really loose and barely charging, so I purchased a new port thinking this would solve the problem. At first it seemed like it might. However "new" charging port is just as loose as the old charging port even with a brand new samsung cable when I wiggle the cord I get a charge, so I'm inclined to think that the problem is at the port. Has anyone come across this and solved it?
Thanks!
ded
Probably you get a faulty charging port, did you try another cable?
Yes, I have purchased 3 charging ports atm, and 2 new cords, the last cord is supposed to be genuine HTC. I also replaced the battery. My third charging port was working great for a time, but now feels like it's 5 years old. I'm really having a hard time with this
This appears to be a very common problem with official and unofficial ports it's just one of those flaws with this phone and a big reason why so many of my friends gave up on this phone.
htc will claim its due to not using official htc cable but that is bs
