[MOD]Semi Transparent Statusbar TW30 Launcher f/ Blackhawk DXKT5, DXKT7 & XWKT7

Semi transparent statusbar & drawer background TW30 launcher for Blackhawk DXKT5/7 and XWKT7, mod by me..No need live wallpaper
How to install :
*Extract the rar file first
*Replace the original TouchWiz30Launcher.apk in /system/app with the modded TouchWiz30Launcher.apk using root explorer or something similiar
*Set permission to rw-r--r-- then reboot your phone, done.
*Sometimes I found a little bit laggy when scrolling from page to page in app drawer, but the little problem solved after I set the cpu to 825 MHZ or above
Note : Please backup your original Touchwiz30Launcher.apk and install third party launcher for safety. This modded TouchWiz30 launcher only works with themes that support transparency. Or you can cook your systemUI in UOT Kitchen to enable statusbar transparency. Do With Your Own Risk..

But there is any way to sort the apps in the grid by name (alphabetical order)? that's the reason i use Launcher Pro instead of the TouchWiz30 launcher...

well, u are quite a good modder for a newbie...works for stock ROMs with CF-root...btw, urs is slightly better than snoopa's semi-transparent launcher, only that urs is less semi-transparent than his, and urs has semi transparent background for the dockbar and also nice animation of it when entering app drawer...nice....

Change Power Widget Indicator color

I was modifying the CM7 status bar, and the I need to change the green lines on Power Widget Indicator, into blue lines.
I know how to change it on CyanogenMod Settings>>Interface>>Energy Widget>>Indicator Color; but that I want to do is change it by default, by edit the .apk.
Anyone of you knows how to do that?

I'm trying to do the same thing. I'v looked all through the systemui apk with no luck, I am working on the CMparts.apk now thinking that might have it

It will be in the systemUI.apk decompile and look in the smali folder

The most of colors and sizes on android apps design should be on res folder, anyway I've search here a lot of times, with no result...
It's possible that the colour is changed by a dinamic way using javascrip code, and then it must to be on smali folder, but's big...
It's better to look for some strings defined on data partition after changing the colour of thid lines, and then add it into someone xml of the values folder

Its so easy...
Decompile settings.apk
Goto > res > drawable-xxxx (hdpi / mdpi /xhdpi whateva ur device support )
Edit appwidget_settings_ind_on_c_holo.9.png
Also edit 2 other images similarly....
Be careful its .9 png ..... search for how to edit this...

[MOD] 360 Launcher gets MIUI look

Hi there I just see this great mod by Taine0 of 360 Launcher, but there was a problem, that's an old version and doesn't support transparent status bar, so I made the same for the new 360 launcher and looks pretty well and actually you can use icon packs and so on. I just want to share this and I take no credits since it was Taine0 idea.
It would be awesome if someone could make icon packs for it and publish them on this thread. 360 Launcher works like a charm on our Ace.

you can add it directly to the apk with winrar or 7zip
example for adding icons:
if the activity is com.android.contacts2
the icon must be named like this: app_com_android_contacts2.png
Or you can download a icon pack and then replace the icons inside, actually is a pretty easy way to modify

Oh so it was the same format as before. Ive done a Glasklart icon pack of taine0's launcher before but tossed it cause its a bit laggy back then.

Btw as Ive known TaineO's mod has no app names. Or is it the other mod that I used. There is another 360 mod with signa icons and another one that was optimized for mdpi that was based on taineo's mod. Not sure if what mod has the one with no app names. If u can find it can u do it too? Thanks!

With the latest update of 360 you can use icons with no name like this:
Also, you can pick an icon for a specific app or rename it and so on

yes, you can, you have to decompile the apk and search in values folder for dimens.xml edit it then rebuild the apk and sign it.

It's great for change the miLauncher that still have lot of bugs

Since for whatever reason just simply removing the clock makes SystemUI crash, what I did was center the clock and then make the clock black in color so you can't see it. This wouldn't even be necessary if CM wasn't retarded and didn't hide the clock in the pull down when selecting no clock.
I've attached my status_bar.xml so just compare to yours to see what I did and then go to values/styles.xml and change the color of the clock to #ff000000

Got confirmation that it works on Toro

You have to decompile SystemUI and its a folder.

You have to decompile the systemui.apk its in res/values/styles.xml. then find the clock color. Or if you want your entire system color that color. Decompile the framework-res.apk and then in values/colors.XML change the holo_blue_light.

Give me a few minutes and I will toss up a SystemUI that doesn't mess with the clock.

I know what I did. I'm doing this on my phone so I just changed the .apk to a .zip and extracted it but the value folder under res isn't showing, I guess I'll have to do it properly on my CPU. Haven't done any theming since the Vibrant really rusty
