[Q] H3Lp / Desire locked

Hello everyone.
Big mess since this afternoon because of my dear desire.
I was surprised by connecting my phone to my pc to charge it to see my phone restart itself.
After an unbearable moment, my "precious", with a custom rom (OpenDesire 3.5), starts mode android naked.
Let me explain, here is what does not work anymore
- Any GSM network detected (neither mine or any other)
- No access to the contents of the SD card
- No recognition of the USB device
Here's what I did to test:
For sd:
- Formatting the SD card under Windows and Linux> still not recognized
- change card> still not recognized
- Copy of a file on sd> is not seen with Astro File Manager (File sdcard empty)
For USB:
- No icon in the notification area
- Enable / disable debug mode (windows wonder the driver cdma)
For the operator:
- Test my simcard in another phone> phone ok
And here for the manipulations that I get different results:
- Parameters / SD card and Memory> "sd card up" grayed
- Under Rom manager> SD Card not mounted
- Under Astro File Manager> sd card empty
- fastboot> recovery> ok on the phone, is activated, but does not detect device with pushfile (idem windows/linux)
- install rom official "RUU_Bravo_HTC_Europe_1.15.405.3"> does not detect the phone
I'm beginning to dry.
Is it possible to flash the phone from the sdk without using the SD card?
I also think it would be possible to do a lot of things with Rom manager (installed on the phone) without the requirement to have an SD card mounted
Thank you 4 your h3lP.

[Q] Desire + CM 6.1.1, install apps in SD card doesn't work as expected

Hi,
Is there any way to know for sure that I'm moving and running my application from SD Card?
I've checked in Settings > CyanogenMod settings > Application settings the option "Allow application moving" and setted in "Install location" the External option, but I still getting low disk message when I try to install for example Opera and move it to SD Card using Settings > Manage applications > Opera Mobile then clicking on "Move to SD card".
Before I had: Total: 20.45MB, Application 20.45MB and Data 0.00B
After: Total: 13.82MB, Application: 13.82 and Data:0.00B
So, it looks that my apps still running from Memory and not SD. Is there any other action that I should do to really move the apps to SD and run from there?
Thanks in advance

AOA!!
Just go to settings > manage apps > on sdcard > now select app which u want to move on sd card > select option move to sdcard !
Well u will get free lots of space by just this .......We get 3,8 GB internal storage and now i have 3.7 GB ..
Also delete or move the movies folder (having sample videos) ................
And if u want to move the large data of games, root your mobile and use folder mount (in play store) to move large data to sdcard....
:highfive:
use to B116 rom..go to settings> storage> default install location sd card choice..otherwise there is no possibility.
ive installed fifa 2012 and the data was not transfered to the SD card
update your device to Firmware B116 !

Move apps to SD Card with System app remover (ROOT)

If You Want Move Apps to Sd card this You Must To Do :
1. First You Must activated Develover options (go to setting-about phone-android version click 7 times) after that back and develover options is on setting menu.
2. Root Your Phone with TWRP Search in Xda redmi rooting thread
3. After Reboot Your Phone, Check apps SuperSU already installed.
4. Download app on Google Playstore : System app remover (ROOT) then install.
5. Run System app remover then in menu move to sdcard you select any apps you want to move.
6. Apps you move to SD card is on SD card.Check in storage on setting, apps in internal Storage will less because already move to SD Card
7. Turn Off Your Phone and then unplug SD card. Then Turn On Your phone (without SD Card).
8. Check apps, all apps in SD card is not show because SD card is Unplug. Then Turn Off Again your Phone
9. Put On your SD Card on your Phone Again, then turn On your phone

Thanks, but why should we do it ? sytem partition seems to be good enough to hold all the apps.
- Is SD card vs ROM read/write speed is crucial ?
- Does it help in backup/restore ?
- Why not moving sdcard apps to /system ( some apps fail to work ) . that way cwm backups will have the apps backed up too. ?
Not supported

Actually you CAN do it with FolderMount which really move the data apps to sdcard.
Not working on my Redmi note indian piece.
Hi,
I am unable to move apps to SD using this method. Receiving an error message : "No need to move. SD card shares the same disc with os". I have installed SuperSU after rooting using the official method on redmi forum. The TWRP recovery root thread there asks not to use that method for Redmi note. Thank you for your nice work.

A5 2017 (A520F DS) Nougat 7.0: How to use External as Internal SD?

Very new to this, so a bit of details would be helpful.
I found the fix playing with it around myself. This is for Samsung 7.0 firmware (India) on my A5 2017.
It involves formatting the external SD card obviously. It is not made obvious & hidden deep inside the OS, so follow below instructions.
Solution:
1. Settings > Device Manager > Storage > select the three dotted menu that says 'Storage Settings' > Select SD card > Format.
2. This does not say 'Format as Internal', but
3. After Formatting, it will recognise the external as a new SD and ask again to 'Format as Internal'. Choose that and then
4. Move data to SD after formatting or it will not recognise it as a internal. 'Move data' is kind mandatory.
Hope this fixes it for some of you.
Pros:
1. Able to use the external SD as internal, all apps are by default stored in External (e.g Whatsapp)
2. Able to Connect to PC for data transfer.
Minor Cons:
1. Default File Manager shows incorrect Space available (shows a lot more is occupied than it really is). ES File explorer gives the correct picture.
2. Unable to access Settings > Apps > Select Any App > Storage (Force Stops Settings)
Humm. This is interesting. I wonder if it will work for the S7. Let me give it a try. TY!
