I'm just wondering if any has been able to trigger their DSLR using the IR blaster on this phone. If so please tell us what app and brand of camera you use. I use a Sony a77 and haven't been able to get it working yet

I've been using the following app with my nikon d5100
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ALNAQEEB.DSLRsRemote
Works perfectly! Supports sony cameras too. Just make sure you enable remote shooting mode on the camera.

If your into photography, and have a canon EOS camera, check out this app, remotely control your camera with your S3! Works nicely on my T3i, interface lags a little but honestly its pretty close to the canon computer controller software. Requires an OTG cable, and 8 bucks.

Thanks for the share. I'll probably mess around with this when I get my t2i.
Will it work with a 60d?

it should, it says it works on "eos" cameras, which the 60d is. After spending some more time with it I found more features that I like, such as time lapse custom configs, and i think a timed bulb mode. But I also found a few more bugs, some options require some extra time, and manual focus controlls are buggy, it is still in beta after all.

Do any of the camera apps make the picture quality better? I'm using the stock Camera at the moment
Camera Zoom FX
I'm a huge fan of ProCapture.

I picked up the DSLR Camera app in the Samsung apps and I really like it, but I seem to recall that someone has said elsewhere that it is no longer available. I'm not sure, but if it is out there it is a great camera app.

Mind sharing the app? I think it's no longer on the Samsung app list.

What's the best camera to use on note 2? Stock or do you guys get one from app store?

Samsung has done a great job with their camera app. Loaded with features you won't find anywhere else. Apps in the App Store are more for personal taste. Try a few and see which you like best.
Quality-wise, it's all about the settings you use (I.e. iso, exposure , etc).

Just wondering if I need to download a separate app to do that.
+1 to this question!
No, the default app only has classic panorama mode, no 360°. You'll need another app (like Google camera) to do that.

Samsung takes really decent 360 images ..i wasn't able to achieve the same standards using google camera or street view .anyone ever got a decent one from op3 ? Can you share ?
Anyone having trouble using quick remote? I've tried to configure it for a Samsung TV, an LG TV, and Direct TV receivers, and none of them work. Am I missing something?
Thanks
