Best custom rom - Galaxy Grand Duos i9082 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

hi all share ur experience regardind cm11,rr kk,touch wiz ,probam which is best in following aspects
-smooth no lags
-app2sd
-touch sensitivity
-most stable

Best rom threads arent allowed my friend.
Labelling one rom as the best is a disrespect to the developers of all the other roms ..

Correct XDA does not allow best Rom threads since there are to may variables, what may be best for one person not be for another. Best to flash a few and see what works best for you.

Custom ROM but close to original firmware?

Hi,
as it seems, I am pretty satisfied with the stock ROM and HTC Sense. The only grief I have with this firmware is that they only give 5 instead of 7 launcher screens which I would like to change. Also some camera mod, that offers an option to save uncompressed would be nice (or anything else, that makes the image quality better).
Something, that allows me to control which application phones home and when, would be nice too. I would also want root-access, so I can run the firewall of Avast. Is there any slight modification to the stock rom of the One V? Thanks.
rc 3.2 or suprimo
ur choice rc 3.2 has more tweaks though

[Q] Help needed choosing ROM and Kernel

Hello, I have recently rooted and unlocked my Arc and I am now looking for a Kernel and ROM to start my custom experience with. I do not want to insult or under value the hard work of developers by asking for advice on the "best" ROM, however I find myself becoming increasingly more confused with the options available.
I am looking for a Kernel and ROM that give me JB, no lag, overclocking, good battery life, camera, wifi, bluetooth, smooth operation non beta and is more interesting then the stock ROM. I am not a gamer and rarely use HDMI.
I have searched XDA and have read so many opinions and spun around so many times that I now find myself looking up my own arse.
Could someone let me know what has worked and continues to work for them.
Cheers.
These threads get closed for a reason. Stick with the stock ROM or read the dev threads and choose. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2147836

It's not right to compare ROMs, but I can give you some advice.
Don't go for stock ICS, it will lag. CSR Racing still lags even after I tweaked my phone on stock ICS.
GB ROMs would be better for gaming as they don't take up as much resources as compared to ICS ROMs.

Try super jelly bean. I am using it and it's good for gaming...

Do not ask such questions again. It is against the Rules. Go to the ROM threads and check out by your self, read the ROM descriptions and user reviews. That helps better.
These discussions are forbidden on XDA, because there is no best.
1/ Other developers dont want to see someone saying their work is not as good as someone elses.
2/ Whats best for someone else may not be the best for you.
Conclusion: Try all them out and see which one is best for your needs.

[Q]Searching for a ROM for everyday use

I'm searching for a ROM for everyday use so batterylife is important, also I like to mess around with appearance custom icons, docks, widgets, lockscreens all that, so options for that build in would be nice. That's pretty much it good battery life, stable and with customization options. I mostly use it for calls and surf on the internet for day to day use.
I'm running InsertCoin wich I like, but sense doesn't fit to my customization needs.
Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a really stupid question.
Best ROM threads are not allowed. You must try different ROMs and choose the one that is suitable for you.

There is no such thing as "best rom", It's subjective and just own opinion. To find your answer try some and find out what is "best" for you.
Alternatively use common sense, Do you think you're the only person to have ever asked this question? Use search and read topics that already exist, no need for another.
Every ROM is the BEST! Ask anyone currently using any ROM...they have found it is the BEST for THEM. Battery life is dependent on kernel, kernel settings, syncs that YOU set up, signal strength, brightness,..and many other non-ROM settings which YOU set up. Air Command features you will find listed in the OP of the ROM if they are working or not.
Happy flashing!
