Thoughts...?
2016 may be a big year for battery charging....

Sounds great in article. I would totally use it. Maybe you could only use it full blast like if you were out and about to get it full, and then turn it down when your at home. That way maybe it would not fry your battery so bad. When in a pinch it would be awesome though!

Looks cool. Saw that on the XDA portal last week. Only thing I'm worried about is the damage it could cause to batteries. Don't think that much juice being pumped into a battery in such a short time is safe lol.

This may not be the same chemical compounds present in our batteries now, so the same thinking may not apply. Article says "semiconductor" and "natural occurring whatever" which doesn't tell us really anything. In short the article just says someone may have developed a battery that can be charged in 30s. I wish I came up with this probably wouldn't have to worry about money for the rest of her ? life
Imagine this with the zerolemon battery

Its not the same kind of battery as what's in phones right now but its a huge step...they just have to compact it and sell those suckers......its a huge step in battery technology.

Wow,
Man, that's ginormous. I like that this phone's battery lasts almost a good 24hrs with solid use. My Evo would last that long if I barely used it lol. Oh and my girlfriend's Inspire! Forget about it, lol.
Overall, I'm happy with the battery life now and can't imagine how long something that large would last.

the real mAH is prob much lower than 4800. And for the price and size, Id rather tape on two spare batteries to my phone

I woudnt want to imagine how the extended battery would work for the atrix...

not to mention an extended battery for the Atrix. would probably make the fingerprint reader harder to use.

Yea. Actually took the case and cover off my phone after reading that little bit. Didn't remember the battery being right at the base of the fingerprint reader. So using a seriously big battery would make that kinda pointless.... since not only would it be hard to reach, but they'd have to design some crazy cover to even get it to work.
I bought one of these and so far NO DIFFERENCE AT ALL!?
Is there something I need to do so Android understands it has more capacity, or does it just s*ck? I was also wondering if others have similar experience.

Some devices will only recalibrate the battery meter when the battery gets completely (or almost completely) discharged and THEN fully recharged. Don't know if that's the case with Atrix, but it's worth a try.

Man screw that. I'll never risk these low budget batteries in a $800 device. Maybe if it was from a notable company.
These batteries are a scam, if you remove the gold sticker you'll see the actually much lower capacity printed on them. They are worse than stock batteries by far.

Sorry no pics as SIII is my only phone. It fits in stock battery cover. Im getting 3:45 of display time on ATT LTE. The battery does get warm but not so much that it is dangerous. There's no way to fit more mah into the same size battery for so cheap. If there was don't you think Samsung would have done that?

Well worth the read. They discuss about operating temperatures and discharge cycles.
I personally charge my battery at limited 500ma AC using the Boeffla Config app. I have noticed better overall temperatures. It does take 7-8 hrs overnight but totally worth it considering I am planning to keep this phone next couple of years until it dies on me.

So i don't have this exact item, i have the Zerolemon battery/case, pretty much the same looking case.
I bought a triple pack of these (when the triple pack was available) just so I had room for error.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NFC-Antenn...LS997-VS995-/142761205846?hash=item213d3b2056
The trick isn't getting it on the case, it's getting it on the phone, then actually using it. I got it prety much in a spot now where i can have google pay work 80-90% of the time, otherwise the card terminal thinks I'm placing multiple cards on the reader. I have to generally tilt the phone sideways a bit and hold it at an angle for it to detect properly @ Walgreens.

I got the LG V20 Battery Perfine 6400mAh and am pretty happy with it - have had it for some time now. It was like the feel of having a whole new mobile when I put it on. 6400mAh has been enough for me for a whole day and I don't remember that iv had any day that it could not go through a day of work as of yet. Maybe I need to do some harder use on it but overall it seems I don't need something with more juice then this.

This same battery the OP mentioned
Perfine V20 10500 mAh.... Im not sure if it's really 10500 though. Maybe just 10000 mAh
Let it get to about 10%. Here's the stats,
9+ hours of screen in time, haven't charged in 2 days.
This is a great battery.
Thanks to the OP for pointing it out on here
Does the back of the phone heat a lot when charging or during heavy usage/browsing/gaming for the 10500mah/6400mah?
