Does screen show fast boot when you try recovery mode? Also make sure you have drivers installed on computer and try a different USB port

Sorry man, if the screen doesnt work (doesn't power on) , there is no way of knowing what is going on with it, there for no way of knowing how to go about helping you fix it. You will have to take it in for repair, best of luck!

Take it to a Sprint repair center, tell them your phone downloaded the newest update and when you selected reboot and install, the Android popped up with a blue line, then it restarted itself and won't boot.
If you don't have insurance, it'll be $75 for them to order a replacement. If you have insurance, it's free. You'll have a brand new G2 by Monday afternoon.

Hello,
This morning I want to make my own custom rom with kitchen dsixda.
after the first boot has hung at boot animation.
in the horizontal format i could see a part of the home screen and I want to restart the phone.
it will not turn on anymore and if I plug in phone via usb to computer message comes QSUSB_DLOAD driver is not installed.
No download and no recovery mode possible.
I pull out battery about 20 minutes...nothing.
I'll send it to SCS. I have called and said there that phone will not turn on anymore.
There were no further questions on the hotline.
The question:
can thay see that I had custom rom on my phone.
Then my warranty is gone.
Or is there away to repair the phone itself with some tools??

I think I bricked my phone
I turned it off to boot into download mode but it doesn't boot anymore, not even in recovery, and it doesn't charge when I plug it in.
You could try to go into download mode with a jig. I bought one for about €3, which unfortunately didn't work because it was hardbricked.
but it was worth the shot.
Also you could try hooking it up to your computer and try to fix it with the program Odin. Try this before you buy a jig.
Search for both options on this forum or Google.

I was trying out a kitkat kernel which was for our kitkat official but I stupidly used it on an aosp rom and then my phone would only boot into cwm recovery and then I factory reset and it now doesnt even turn on, it shows up on my laptop but im running windows 8 and i havent been able to use the unbrick methods. If anyone can help out it would be appreciated and if i need to send it to LG i know i have breached warranty so what should i say to them?
Thanks!
Can you get into download mode?
Make sure the phone is off. Hold volume up and down at the same time and plug you USB cable into your phone, your phone should go into download mode.
It wont turn on at all, its like all the partitions have been corrupted. I cant get into download mode and when i go into adb it say (fault device) so I think ill need to send it back to LG

Sometimes if you try to charge the phone for a really long time (say 12 to 18 hrs at stretch) - the phone starts to turn on. Try that. and see if you can boot into download mode.
Also, when you give it to LG ... tell them that it is not turning on, thats it...
ok, i tried charging it but nothing happened so ill send it to them and just say that it wont turn on. Thanks!
Once they get it booted up and see the custom kernel and Rom they are most likely going to charge you full price for another phone and of course will not honor any warrantee. As long as you're ok with that go ahead and sent it back for a replacement. with that bein said, it's probably best you tell them the truth so you get accurate info from them ahead of time.

Hi all
I got a notification of the latest software upgrade available for my device. I downloaded it and installed it. The installation process was shown to have reached 100% and then the phone screen went black and then did not turn back up. When I connect the phone to charger, I do not see any battery charging icon
I had my phone connected to the power outlet while I was upgrading? Is my phone bricked? Any way I can resolve this issue? My phone is out of warranty.
I have never ever rooted the phone. Not sure why would this happen with an official software upgrade.
Any help will be immensely appreciated
Are u able to enter recovery mode!

After successful flash the phone will reboot automatically and will stay on bootloop, while rebooting press and hols home+vol.up+power button. Then factory reset, wipe dalvik, wipe cache. Then reboot system..
Why not PDA? When i flashed stock rom i choose PDA and choose the file.
Auto reboot and f.reset time are the only checked boxes

Here's some background if it will help: I've been trying to install cyanogenmod on my T999L, and at one point I needed to boot into TWRP recovery mode. I got TWRP from the Play Store but when I tried the vol up-home-power thing I did not see an option for booting into TWRP on the menu, so I got Quick Boot from the Play Store and tried to select recovery. When I did this the phone shut off and since then I have been unable to turn it on. I doubt it is a battery issue since I had approx. 50-60% battery left on the phone before it shut off, but I tried recharging it anyways and it will not charge. I am not very well versed in technology so advice would be appreciated.
I've tried vol up-home-power to boot into recovery but the phone doesn't turn on or respond at all. When plugged into the charger nothing turns on and no LED lights turn on either. I have not looked at the battery because I would rather not take the phone apart.
Am I screwed or is there anything else I should try?

Yes, it was already rooted.
All I can think of is the possibility that an incorrect recovery was flashed to the phone and bricked the phone. The only way to revive the phone may be to fix it through a jtag service.

Can you explain what a jtag service is and does?
http://www.forensicswiki.org/wiki/JTAG_Samsung_Galaxy_S3_(SGH-I747M)
Jtag is a method of force flashing the firmware by connect a cable directly to the phone memory chip.

I see. Do most phone repair stores offer jtag services? For instance, could I try asking T-Mobile (my carrier) to fix it? Or should I look for a specialized place?
Most cell repair shops can jtag and the Samsung is a very popular phone. A local T-Mobile dealer may be able to fix it.
It may be cheaper to find a working phone with a smashed screen on your local classifieds.
