Sprint Spark - Sprint LG G2

Is it possible to bring back sprint spark after I rooted on Cyanogenmods 11 4.4 nightlies
Automatic response from Cyan-Ls980

easist way to is tot back to V8, then OTA to VA. (if wanted, then downgrade aboot, and flash twrp-flash twrp after downgrading aboot BUT BEFORE rebooting, or you might have issues), from there, use furnace for aosp for spark

[Solved]Can't boot past lg logo

Solution: Needed ZV8 modem, that's all.
First of all, let me get this out of the way: the only access to being able to search the forums is via the XDA premium app, and I can't seem to figure out how to make it search for complete terms so when I search for "ls980 won't boot past lg logo" it searches for each word rather than the whole search term, so I end up with results for people wanting to make a logo for something, or talking about other LG phones, etc. So I apologize if this question has been answered a million times before, I personally have had no luck manually searching for an answer.
Basically, my issue is that my brand new insurance replacement LS980 won't boot past the LG logo when flashing things like the lollipop version of AICP. I've tried flashing a few different baseband and modems because I vaguely remember having this issue before when ZVA was still new, that most AOSP roms would fail to boot if you were still on ZV7 or ZV8, or were testing a version of ZVC.
So, can someone tell me what I need to flash to be able to run lollipop roms? IIRC I had this issue with some CM11 based roms too, but not all of them (as I'm currently running the very last AICP before they transitioned the nightly to lollipop)

If you still have custom recovery. Is it TWRP at 2.8.1 or higher.
Download zv8 modem from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451426
Wipe everything but internal. Flash ROM, radio, gapps. Boot.
This is how we upgraded zva to zvc on d3rp.

Ah! That's the issue! I was assuming it needed a more recent radio, like ZVA or ZVC. Didn't think ZV8 would be the one. Thank you!

No SIM after modem firmware update

I was happily using 4.4.2 stock on my rooted SGH-i747M, however rooting it tripped the warranty bit, then I had the phone unlocked and changed carriers from Rogers to Bell and because of either of those my device is blacklisted from getting OTA updates.
I decided to try CM and was advised on the CM IRC channel to update the modem firmware first. I updated (or perhaps downgraded?) to I747MUMUEND3 per this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898) and rebooted but found that I no longer had sound or WIFI and the SIM card wasn't detected. I tried other versions from that same thread with no luck.
I went ahead and flashed CM 12.1 nightly for D2ATT which worked well, however still no sound or SIM. WIFI works but slowly. I also tried 11.2 for D2LTE but got the same result, and flashing 10.1 for D2ATT gave me an assert error. In 12.1 I experimented with other modem firmware versions (I747MVLUEMK5, I747MUMUEND3, I747MVLUEND2) but it made no difference.
I'm not quite sure where to go from here. According to a CM12.1 debug log my boot loader is I747MVLUFNF2. Do I need to match the modem firmware version with this, and if so, where can I get this version? Would flashing stock from sammobile do it, would I lose root while doing so, and how can I get root back? I forget how I rooted it originally but soft bricked it but fixed it with chainfire.
Anything else I can try at this point? I might just be happy back on stock with cellular connectivity.
The latest modem for the i747m is FOB1. The END2 modem is about a year behind the FOB1.
The assert error occurred because d2lte or d2can ROMs are to be flashed to the i747m.
Fixed
I flashed the stock ROM that matched up with my current bootloader version. Inside the stock ROM everything worked as normal. I then installed TWRP and flashed 12.1 and everything worked in there as well.

Help Easiest Method coming from TWRP & Cyanogenmod 12.1 To Stock

Is there a one click program someone has created for this? I'm wondering about when the D851 gets MM from LG and would like to test it out? I have seen the latest tmobile rom posted, can I just flash that and it keeps twrp?, but makes it stock? OTA and all that? When I had my nexus 5 I used a program WUGFRESH that was a nice GUI and walked noobs like me through the process go to and from stock and back to custom roms.

Reverting to stock for replacment (on "developer edition")? Revert CID/need for PIT?

Reverting to stock for replacment (on "developer edition")? Revert CID/need for PIT?
Hey all,
I gotta send N4 to verizon for replacement (no 4G anymore) and I am trying to get back to as close to stock as possible. My big questions before I go about the final Odin restore flash are:
1. Will the fact that I changed it to developer edition (not developer options) by changing the CID matter at all? Do I need to undo my developer edition tweak as well? Worried about bricking by flashing the full stock images on a "developer edition".
2. Do I need to use a PIT during flashing, to really get it all fully stock?
3. With regards to TWRP, will flashing a stock image revert back to stock android recovery as well? Do I need to mess with TWRP before flashing via Odin?
4. Is it hopeless to try and remove the "custom" pad lock on boot? Is there any way to achieve that?
5. Is it better to use the "Stock" images from the community or should I use those from SamMobile?
Currently on a nandroid restore of my unrooted, fresh install of 6.0.1. Baseband ver CPF3, build CPD1 (using bootlader from hsbadr SafeUpgrade to MM).
Why do you need to send it to Verizon and to get fixed. Have you tried flashing back to a stock ROM and checking for 4g.
I lost my 4g a while back it turned out to be my sim tray and was a 5 dollar part and was 10 minutes to mix.

never heard of a fried phone where 4G only does not work. Are you getting any signal? Try going back to a mostly stock Rom.
Plus if you ever rooted, you tripped knox and Efuse. Not likely that the would just overlook that

Yeah, didnt make sense to me either. Odin'd back to CPD1 and signaling was fine again. As soon as I throw a ROM at it (any 7.0 AOKP and tried Jasmine which is 6.0), the radios get drunk. Seems like a common issue for some. Oddly enough Emotion build 109 worked flawlessly on 4G, once I updated to 328 I've been unable to get 4G back, where texts work). Yeah, Knox 0x1 tripped, I was thinking it was hardware so was toying with taking the gamble that they wouldn't check on such an old phone.

Help upgrading from root kitkat to marshmallow

Hello I'm currently running 4.4.2 with root and I've been thinking about upgrading to marshmallow. I just wanted to know whats the best way going about it. I'm assuming that I'm going to have to re-enable the software updating app that I disabled for I didn't get OEM updates then upgrade to marshmallow and re-root using one of the guides or would a root keeping app or Survival mode on superSU possibly work? I also believe I have TWRP installed from when I rooted my phone before, I'm not sure if that's important info. Also side note, would their be a way to keep the 4.4.2 touch buttons on the bottom of the screen? They make more sense to me then the new ones. Device info below
AT&T
android 4.4.2
software version D85010d
Model number LG-D850
You can't root on marshmallow so if you want root DO NOT update with that app. the easiest way is to just flash a rom. i have the verizon version (vs985) and all i have to do to flash a custom stock rom, is to flash the right modem before flashing the rom, then flashing modem again after the rom and bam, i just flashed a marshmallow rom from kitkat 4.4.2. you can also downgrade that way just flashing the appropriate modem before and after and bam.! but i dont know about your version, you should definitely check the att&t G3 subforum. you need to be careful and read thoroughly so you don't brick. the thing with vs985 is that there are modems out there that can hardbrick the device, however, it may not be the same for others but, just in case you should read.
Thank you I'll look into that. So far I found this https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-g3/development/rom-stock-bumped-marshmallow-v30a-t3661194 but I still got more research to do since I'm unfamiliar with flashing modems and whatever "bumped" is exactly. Hopefully this weekend I'll have more time to look into this.
