Hey guys, I've been having problems with random shutdowns with the new update and the only way to prevent it that I found was by rooting the phone. The problem with that is the camera doesn't work properly. It shows no picture when you open it up. The root method I used was the CWM UCLE5 ICS root. Anybody know of any way to root the phone and keep the camera working normally?
I recently installed kit kat on my samsung galaxy nexus phone, which was originally 4.3, but now I'm not really loving the kit kat so I'd like remove it
and unroot the phone all together and send my phone in to get fixed.
Is there a way to do this?
I originally rooted the phone and installed kit kat because it had an issue with turning the wifi on. (couldn't do it) Now the wifi still cant turn on and im stuck with a super glitchy Rom.
Just flash the factory image via fastboot. That will wipe everything (so all your pictures and music and stuff too).

Hey Okay so after updating from 4.1 and Rooted I updated to 4.2 via OTA at first every thing seemed great was still Rooted and even the screen seemed less washed out then the NFC stopped working I've been Googling around and found nothing:silly: for the Xperia ZL C6506 just a quick fix for the Z using Root Browser and that don't work for the ZL so I've kept on search and no luck So I'm hoping someone here has any ideas ?
Hi guys - new to the forums and am keen to learn.
We have a Samsung Note 10.1 2014 P605 - it was truly awesome - until I let it "upgrade" to KitKat 4.4.2
What a mistake that was.
The device is mainly used for GPS and mapping etc .... since the "upgrade" the gps refuses to lock properly and by that I mean sometimes not at all.
It blinks on and off for anything up to an hour - then it locks and then unlocks after 10 minutes ....
Sent it back to Samsung to request a Downgrade back to previous firmware ... they sent it back saying it tested ok and they Upgraded it to the latest release.
They wont go backwards.
Does anyone have an earlier version ?
Can I simply roll it back or do better with a different ROM ?
I spent hours learning the ins and outs of what can be done to root the device - have used Odin3-v3.07 to root it and Titanium Pro to back it up.
It all still works fine so I guess I got that bit right - Root checker says its all good and Titanium has backed the device up.
Now I am left with the part of trying to fix the GPS .....
Any ideas ?

i recently bought a second hand Note II and it was still running jelly bean and had optus software and apps pre-installed. So i decided to download a stock kit-kat rom for the note II. I installed using Odin and after installation i have noticed that my entire screen has a yellow tinge to it,all except the notification area at the top of the screen. (battery,reception etc.). This was definitely not there prior to installing kit kat. To be honest i flashed an s2 i had with a stock jelly bean rom using odin as well and it did the same thing. Anyone know how i can fix this or why it has occurred?
