I don't really like the new pie and now that it's activated I can't seem to find a way to disable it.

If u whant to disable pie go to quicksettings and turn off Immersive mode
If u whant to disable pie and get original immersive mode do what plegdroid sayd
i like Pie, but i think it would be way more useful if it could be activated from more than one side at a time and had not to be activated from the exact middle of the screen but rather anywhere

I also miss the fact that in 3.99, you could access your notifications and quick settings from pie. I really hope that gets added back in 4.x.

That's it..
I don't want to disable or remove Google now completely..just the search bar..
I also do not want a custom launcher..
Is there a way I can do it without those ?
Ooor plans to make it a toggle able feature in the future ?
Can't touch the Google launcher since its closed source and a separate package from the ROM
Sent from my Nexus 5
if you use exposed, there's a module named XPosed GEL Settings, which can be used to customize nearly all aspects of Google Launcher :good:

Only think you can do for that is to use Xposed Framework.
Hello Community,
the first time you activate Immersive PA ask you something like "Do you wanna use PIE?". And I pressed yes but I dont like the PIE but i love the immersive mode. Is it possible to disable only the PIE?
Thanks,
Jam

Hi all:
Been a long-time cyanogenmod user but the WiFi is all broken in CM11. Just wondering ifi could get some quick advice on the following:
1. Can Swype be enabled on the keyboard?
2. Can the quick setting tiles be changed or rearranged?
3. Can the ROM-Specific behaviours be changed after you pick yes/no? (Ie: card view in the running apps list, the behaviour of immersive mode, etc.)
Thanks!
1. No. Download google keyboard from the play store. Aosp keyboard doesn't have this option.
2. Yes. Tap the button in the upper right on the qs drop down
3. Yes. Settings, backup and reset, reset preferences.
Numbers 2 and 3 are covered in the change log thread....

Thanks! I didn't know where to find the change logs. I'm really new to this ROM and haven't really used this board as often as I should. I'll try to be more proactive moving forward.
One more quick question if anybody knows - is it possible to change which corner triggers the quick settings? I didn't see anything in the FAQ about this.

I know the pixel is a new phone but I'm just curious if there's a genius out there that knows how to disable it so we can use gestures. I hate the stock navigation.
I hate it too! I want the old style navbar back! The code was there to activate it if you wanted but this is Google forcing what they want on us!

It is weird, all the code and icons are still there. Most everything is the same as the Pixel 2 xl. Someone might be able to. The smali code is a little different but not much.
Hoping someone finds a command to disable it, plus I'd love to have more screen real estate.
I hear ya,,,I just dont get it,,why not leave the option there to use it? It would be one thing if they deleted the code and its not there,,,but it is LOL,,,give us the option. I cant stand this new navbar! And from what I read on all the other Android sites there are more that dont like it than do.

I got it ?, the "navigation gesture" app has a command that works. I'm currently using "Oneplus Gestures"

I'm running the same setup but also with Nacho Notch and it's so much better than stock. Oneplus Gestures so far seem to be a lot better than stock ones.

Thanks for putting on to Nacho Notch way better than the developer Notch settings
I found this for enabling the old navigation buttons and getting rid of the gestures.

I'm probably going to do this when I get a chance. While the new gesture style navigation isn't completely horrible, I can't say that I'm a big fan of it.

Same thing I'm staying with. It makes it easier to switch between my Pixel 3 XL and my iPhone XS Max. Not to mention I'm also getting the OnePlus 6t. So all my phones will have very similar navigation gestures.
