Allwinner A20(wing a70x) (7")
Rk3066 (10")
Rk3188(10")
rk3026 (7")
If anyone needs any help with these devices then pm me as I have the hardware ready to test any mods/tweaks/Rom's
I also have some custom Roms, so, if you have a budget/unknown device then let me know and I may be able to help.
list your device and requirements and ill do my best to help.

Hi i recently bought this tablet sold locally in Greece called Rubik 7".
I tried flashing a firmware with the rkbatch tool and now when i try to turn it on i only get a white screen.
The rkbatch tool still recognises the device and has a green indication.
Any help on how to restore recovery and os would be much appreciated!

Ok.. lets see if we can finally get to the bottom of it. I recently bought a tv stick, supposedly a dual core rockchip, but it turned out to be an allwinner instead. Unfortunately the protection ended before i realized it. Firstly, the KODI would not play smoothly, so i started looking around and saw that Allwinners are not yet supported. Funny thing is, VidOn xbmc which supposedly supports Allwinner chips is not working either (not at all). When i searched for my product, i could not find any tv stick similar with what i got. When i search for Allwinner dual core A20, i get the MK 808C, which looks exactly like the one i got, BUT mine does not have the AV output that mk808c has. Looked in Allwinners product page but could not find it there... So mine looks like the rockchip dual core MK808B but instead of a rock chip, it has an Allwinner Chip (A20) inside (I opened it up and had a look)... When it first arrived, the OS was android 4.2 and in the device info it was stated as a SoftwinerEVB tablet...
Now my problem is that i tried changing the firmware, thought maybe a different firmware would run smoother and more efficient. I use Phoenix Suit and i must have flashed like 50 different roms on it. Many would work great and some nothing at all but the problem now is that, no matter what rom i use, the wifi will not turn on. It slides back off. I could use the original rom if i had it but it seems like impossible since i don't know what i really have yet.
Here are some info of the original rom:
model number: SoftwinnerEVB
Android: 4.2.2
Firmware Version: v0.9
Kernel Version: 3.3.o (dated: July 4th 2013)
Build Number: sugar_ref002-eng 4.2.2 JDQ39 20130704 test-keys
Inside when i opened it i saw these info:
Chip inside: Allwinner A20, Dual core, D4004 64j1
On the back of the board is written: 94v-0, D-4 E353335, U808 A20 Rev:1.0, 20.13.06.06
wifi chip: AP6210, TOD3003, 1311 (Which i think is combo with bluetooth).
Tried many roms, wifi problem persists. Tried many different approaches enabling it, they did not work (through insmod commands, through Uberizer [it won't even find a connected device], replacing wifi files in the system etc).... So either i will be able to enable the wifi chip somehow or i could use the original rom if anyone had any idea what and where it is...
Any help would be really appreciated

UNBOXING
FULL REVIEW

ROOT:
Yes, I have rooted it with "MTK Droid Tools" combined with iRoot.
Hi Guys, here is my full user unboxing and review of the iNew V3 Plus, what do you think about this new version?
I still find the design really nice. It actually looks 1:1 with the first iNew V3, but has upgraded hardware.
The original iNew V3 was a big hit when it was released because of the design and the price was excellent for the specs. Now there is a new, better and faster version out called iNew V3 Plus, with the same nice design. Notice the 2GB RAM now! But disappointing is that they removed NFC, no 4G and the small battery is still the same.
Here the iNew V3 Plus (aka. V3A) specifications:
- MT6592M 1.4 GHZ Octa-Core / Mali-450MP
- 2GB ram / 16 GB rom
- Android OS 4.4.2 version
- 5.0" HD screen 1280x720 pixels (294 PPI)
- Notifications LED (Seems to support more colors)
- 143 x 71 x 6.5 mm
- 13.0 MP back camera Auto Focus, 5 MP front camera
- Gesture Capture for the front camera (do a V with your hand to start a countdown)
- 2 x 1830 mAh lithium battery
- 3G, WIFI 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE, HSDPA, HSUPA
- Dual Mic / Support for OTG / No NFC support
- WCDMA 850/2100MHz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900

It's time to revive this thread, I think.
I have some information you might find interesting, s7yler. Near Field Communication, as I'm sure you know, was a removed from the V3+, while the original V3 had it. I've been taking a good hard look at the board and chassis between the two models, and see absolutely no reason why NFC could not be reimplemented. All of the hardware for it is onboard, the contacts for the NFC sticker still exist, although the contact standoffs on the original V3 chassis are not, which isn't really the end of the world, it just means we need to find a way to make the NFC sticker connect to the board through some other means, maybe wires or something dirty will work for now.
You can get the sticker here. I bought one myself.
Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about:
This is the V3+. notice the contacts near the camera are indented, flush with the board:
And the original V3, notice that the contacts are now flush with the rest of the chassis:

But there is also no NFC option in the ROM for the Plus version. Then someone would need to implement the NFC feature also to the ROM for the V3 Plus.
Well it's certainly a damn good thing this is xda developers, isn't it?
I'm waiting for all of the parts to arrive, but in the meantime, I need to find a ROM for the original iNew V3. I'm about 90% sure that the Wi-Fi Direct hardware is the same between these phones, since everything else is, except for the ram and cpu, so porting the NFC libraries, or even simply adding the option for it in the V3+ ROM is probably all that needs to be done. It's possible that the V3+ firmware is identical to the original, save for libraries for the MTK6592, so for all we know, NFC options could simply be commented out.
I'll do some tinkering and let you know.
hello, I receive the inew v3 + , there is there a way to put the processor 1.7 ghz (as mtk 6592 standard) with a kernel or other manipulation?
If you have feedback on this phone?
Thank you in advance

Why would you want to clock it at 1.7Ghz? doesn't it run smooth? overclocking may just drain the battery faster and maybe overheat it. The 300Mhz you get more, is not worth it I would say. Also I don't think it is possible to clock the MT6592M to 1.7Ghz, never heard about such a thing.
I agree that this can pose problems but the 6592 original MTK is a 1.7GHz , so I figured get this frequency was not completely unreasonable ... By cons for gaming the GPU is the same so games level I should not feel difference compared to mtk 6592 (I had a W200s thl with MTK6592 1.7GHz ) ?
What bothers m it's just AnTuTu scores I've seen on the net that are 20,000 instead of 28,000 to 30,000 on a classic 6592 mtk here is my fear .... that's why I come to more ...
thank you
miui it is available on the new version of inew v3 ?
In addition the update (V8) brings it to interresting improvements ?
Hi out there, The IOCEAN M6752 is using the 64bit MT6752 Octa Core chipset. It has some really good specs, like 3GB RAM and support for LTE/4G. What are your thoughts about this? Below here you can see some pictures & videos of the phone and the specs.
It is a close competitor to for example the ZOPO ZP920 or Jiayu S3 which are running with very similar specs. But the IOCEAN is cheaper than these.

Very quick, just go to phone Settings > Security > Superuser (enable this) and you have ROOT enabled
There is also now a new update, if you check under Wireless Update in About.
But after the update the "Variety Unlock" has disappeared. So the custom unlock screens are not available anymore. I hope IOCEAN fix this with the next update, as I am missing the waterdrop unlockscreen now.

Hi s7yler.
did you manage a geekbench battery test for this phone or at least can you tell us about battery life ?
seem camera is not so bad though.
what about GPS sensitivity when driving ?
if you had choice, did you prefer this one over Ulefone Be touch or umi eMax ?
best regards

This Piece of Metal is above the CPU and could be utilised for a bit of cooling
That's one small PCB
No sticky pads just pop out Silicon type
Now for a bit of a fiddle
More to Come
Basic Test for Now
Bit of testing to see how things perform
Takes about 1 minute to boot from a cold start.
Remote performs fair with this device.
Now Using the Logitech K400r.
All setup easy. no problems found
1/8Gb not a snappy unit remembering the spec's and the price.
AnTuTU v 5.7 showing a score of just under 21,000
Ethernet connection OK WiFi tested Ok
Netflix in and tested Ok for this device
Plex a few Movies, TV shows Ok after uninstall and reinstall.
Not a beast, I feel you can make it do most things.
Yet to be tested
First firmware update is ready. Two ways to get it:
1. Install this APP for OTA service: http://www.inphic.com/download/download/5-spot-i5-ota-app
Just download the APP from the TV Box browser, install and open. Your SPOT i5 will detect the latest version of firmware and upgrade.
2. Download firmware file: https://mega.nz/#!zIljUBzL!wfBnfuOIbOOXv7NM2CLdNE_bC9ypKcIX1BBTfMPWUPg
Upgrade by using Amlogic burning tools
Firmwares under 20151113 does not support OTA, then, this APP is required. After install this version OTA will be there.
Latest firmware has root
Update Firmware with root
Attempt with the APP for OTA.
For me it dropped me to recovery and could not do much from there.
Hmm unsure what happened there.
On to the next option
Option 2 worked, downloaded burning tool from here http://chinagadgetsreviews.com/downl...-v2-0-4-3.html
Followed Instructions (pity cant see the reset button luckily I drilled it earlier) about 5 minutes to install new firmware.
i5 will sit at a loading screen while new firmware sets its self up. takes awhile so don't Panic.
Get greeted with new system to reset up, all apps wiped best to start fresh no junk in the trunk.
Remote works through complete process.
Version Now show KOT49H.20151113test-keys
I enlarged it as I prefer to use a tooth pick, a paper clip would fit, the idea sticking bits of metal in bothers me
Installed SU and Busybox looking good.
Ethernet cable
The Ethernet socket on the back and slightly under the dome can be a pain when removing the cable. One of these can help and makes things so much easier
This is probably the coming Inphic's launcher. Designed for TV Box:

I've ordered one yesterday through Amazon in discounted price ( Grey Thursday) for only £99.99!
For that price and specs with CM support I think it was a good deal.
I will comment as soon as I will have it in my hands
Also got one from Amazon UK, but used Amazon Prime and was able to get this for £90 .
Very nice for for the money well impressed, as a Christmas gift it is rather, kind wish I had got one also.

Hardware is similar. The differences are the kernels (64 bit for Wileyfox, 32 bit for G1) and the modem.img (interchanging modem.img results to baseband error).

G1 (Google Seed) kernel has defconfig in arm folder, not arm64. Also no lib64 folders are present in the G1 stock rom. Ergo, G1 kernel and stock OS = 32 bit. But Cyanogen OS and CM12.1 64-bit rom from Wileyfox Swift can be flashed on the G1.
Interesting device. I've ordered it in one week ago by 89$ in JD online market, waiting when it coming to me.

PIPO X9 Mini PC TV Box is the latest model of PIPO TV Box.
It is the upodate version of the previous PIPO X8 TV Box, both are featured with the non-battery desing. While the X9 has a larger 8.9 inch scree, and X8 has a 7.0 inch smaller screen.
I have had my PIPO X9 for a long time, and i have take a hands-on and unboxing video the first time I got the PIPO X9 Mini PC TV Box. So far I'm so pleased with this model, for a simple greay design, cheper price and the high quality. And now, I'am glad to share my expereince of this PIPO TV Box.

Hi,
Could you write a little howto for installing android 7.1 on pipo x9?

Hi everyone, i have a PiPo x10 pro that i used for a machine in my workplace. unfortunately i bricked the tablet by changing the ram speed from 1066MHz to 1600MHz. only black screen. i tried all different ways to reset back the bios but no avail. so my last option is to reflash the stock bios of pipo x10 pro. but up till now, i couldnt find the file. I asked everywhere on the internet (including pipo service support) but no one have it. would appreciate if anyone owning the same PIPO x10 Pro can extract their bios version and send it to me. Thanks in advance.
Hi,
How to open PIPO X10 pro in Android OS ?
