[Q] OmniRom & O-Touch panel - Oppo N1

Currently i'm running CM11 nightlies since CM10.2 that came with my N1 didnt have working o-click functionality. I tried out Omni as it seems to be rather popular right now. I couldn't see much difference between the two at a few glances but I did notice that the O-click on omni has the option for music control. Because of this I almost switched to Omni, but the O-touch panel doesn't have any options for it. It's not in the languages and inputs part of the settings app where it is normally, nor is it in the Oppo app that Omni adds to the app drawer to change some of Oppo's stock functions.
Am I missing something on omni and o-touch is actually there? If not, then is there any availability to get extra o-click options for CM11?

there is no o-touch support in omni at the moment

i have been saying that i would stay stock on my transformer, but i am really thinking about doing this rom. i have used cyanfox on gs3 and gs4, and really liked it.
will this rom support the cyanfox updater like i have used on the other devices as new releases come out?

I'm not sure as I usually just flash manually so that know that it is done correctly. Give it a try and let us know.

ran cromi for about a year, then omni rom upon the kitkat release, then decided to give this a shot.... and LOVE IT. Smooth, customizable, fast, everything you want in a rom. Thanks cyan team.

One issue.... is there something to prevent battery draining when the lid is closed and it is sleeping? Is this my kernel or the rom itself?

What about the 300tg? It work?

I have a problem with this ROM, WiFi can't be switched on...all I get is "Turning WiFi on..." message. Can you help fix this issue?

I personal don't use the dock/key board, The kernel they use is is a cm kernel based, there shouldn't be any issues with it. I personally use grimlocks kernel with great success. Nice little 30 to 40‰ boost.

Make sure you do a full clean install, wipe dalvik, data, system, cache, and check you md5 sum. I like over kill, I usually wipe 2 times.

Custom Roms and SPEN

Just wondering, do the custom roms like slimkat, omni, cm11 etc.
support the usage of spen?

They will all allow use of the S Pen, as it's considered either a "mouse" or a straight-up stylus. Don't remember which as I tried it out and went back to stock.
You don't get any S Pen gestures without disabling the click button for all apps, and you can't make a quick note pop up on removal of the S Pen.
Overall if you rely on the S Pen I'd recommend keeping stock. Just an opinion, though.

[Q] Will the screen gestures when the screen is off work with cyanogenmod?

Please excuse my ignorance. I'm completely new to Flashing RoMs.
I'm just wondering because I would like to try out CM due to the amount of people who highly respect it and I would like to be able to see it for myself, although I really do enjoy the sleeping screen gestures on the stock C-OS and have found myself using them alot so would like to be able to use them with CM.
Thanks!

Right now: Custom gestures (no) - no custom firmware supports these yet.
The "fixed" gestures (circle for camera, V for torch, double tap to wake) are supported by nearly all community firmwares. (Omni is missing music next/last as I haven't had time to fix that.)
gestures find 7
is it an idea to port the gesture apk thats running under ColorOS, the reason i ask is cause i would love to use CM 12 but the missing custom gestures is for me a reason to stick on colorOS for now
In colorOS im using Custom gesture Version : V1.01.1849_140612.R18655_140806 (screen on gestures)
and even more important :
BlackGestureCustom V1.0_1032_140825.R22548_140910
if someone would be able to port these aplications i would leave ColorOS forever
here is a list of APKs i found within the ColorOS Rom
OppoGestureEngine.apk
OppoGestureServer.apk
OppoGestureUI.apk

Fulmics Or Something Nougat-Based For My D850?

Okay, I'm reverting back to my G3 after using Android N on my Nexus 6 for the past half-a-year, so I'm debating between Fulmics or something Nougat-flavored (RR, Lineage, crDroid, AICP, maybe Beanstalk?)
My priorities look like:
Ability to pass SafetyNet
Ability to enable tethering
High quality Camera (maybe built from G3 Stock?)
Stable
Well supported / vetted
Runs smooth
Can handle Pokemon GO well
Good battery life
Useful multitasking (like Android N's multi-screen & switching controls)
Ability to reply from notifications menu
Smooth, streamlined quick-setting toggles (esp. for tethering, wifi, and flashlight)
Other bells and whistles are fun (Now On Tap, etc.) but not super necessary
The reason I'm leaning towards Fulmics, in spite of it's Marshmallow flavor, is I remember the stock G3 Camera being something exclusive to stock-based ROMs... and from what I gather, that would mean anything built from Nougat would *not* have access to that Camera, right? Do other ROMs still have good Cameras? I remember the G3 being quite finicky in that regard...
That said, I really like some of the Nougat additions I've gotten used to. Notably, I like being able to reply to messages straight from the notifications menu, I like the streamlined style of the toggles, and while I believe Fulmics can do this I like the double-tap-to-switch-apps feature and multi-window feature of the task switcher
I also will need whatever I go with to pass SafetyNet – which it seems any of the ones I listed can so long as I configured Magisk right?

Oreo options

Hello folks!
a bit of intrudaction first:
I have a Mi6 128GB version with Rom AICP 13.0
I wish to stay with Oreo, So I've looked and the ROM forum, but got a bit confused
Pixel Experience by Verevka
crDroid by Verevka
Resurrection Remix by 33bca & Asce1062
Atomic-OS by UnknownDev420
LineageOS 15.1 by UnknownDev420
Things I MUST have:
Good BT abilities without FC (I relay on BT connection for daily use)
WiFi Hotspot
Working fingerprint (Doesn't matter if goodix or FPC, as long as it works)
Working-ish camera (preferably MIUI, but don't really care as long as it works most time)
Things nice to have:
Double tap to wake (DT2W)
5Ghz Wifi
IR blaster
The ability to use long press on home button and recently used apps
QC 3.0 (or even USB-PD?)
MHL
F2FS
What Rom do you think is best for me?
I really like AICP, but would to know if there is anything better (since I saw it's no longer maintained)
And can anyone point out the key differences between
PopKern kernel vs Agronom kernel (vs stock?)
I know that some of the things in my "nice to have list" are kernel relevant and not rom relevant, so pointers on this topic as well will be much appreciated.
TIA SM26
