T-Mobile Note 2 Root

Is there any way to root a T-Mobile Note 2 on a mac? Don't have access to a windows machine. Appreciate your time and help

Is there a way to get root on my note 2 without a computer. I ask this because the sprint note 2 is not listed as working for exynos abuse

I used exynos abuse. In fact I have never hooked my phone to my computer except to transfer files. Although I was on ljc which still had the exploit

root with a mac?

Can anyone tell me how to root with heimdall? I could never figure it out with any of my phones, always borrow a pic but I don't have one accessible to root my note p600

As far as I know Heimdall for Linux isn't compatible with this tablet so I'd be surprised if it works on Mac either.

Sucks. Every one I know has a mac. Only reason I got one was for graphic design. Gotta buy a pc because I love tinkering with android so much.

Is there a new Android update I'm on att note 4 but T-Mobile network sorry been on a iPhone 6plus for a while can anyone help or at least send me to the right place?

heya welcome. ok so you're att phone but t-mobile network so you'll probably find yourself bouncing between here and t-mobile section.
the issue with being an att phone on t-mobile is att will push out their updates through their mobile network, and since you're not on that mobile network you won't see them.
soooo if you want to get the latest update I would download Kies. that's Samsung official software to update your phone, and do other things with it via USB connection to your computer.

that's where you can download it. install it, connect your phone to your PC, and Kies will walk you through the rest. gl reply back if you have any trouble.

Update to AT&T Note 4 will only happen if there's an AT&T Sim card in the phone. Borrow someone's and it will work.

Doubt a dead Sim would work, as it won't connect. But yes, there are some threads here where you can find the update to install using Odin.

I had same prorblem (On Cricket using an ATT Note 4). I took the phone to Best Buy when to in store Samsung kiosk and they updated it in about 4 min and where happy to help.
