The method he put his hands on them might not be the most "legal" one. Maybe he works at an IT shop, and nicked some out, but that doesn't bother you.

Where to buy LGOG Replacement Battery (Better Buy Suggestions?)

Hi mates. I just want to ask where I can buy OEM Battery replacement for the OG? I have F180K, but I guess we have the same type. I tried form ebay, but it's closing to 2 months since I purchased one, but it has not arrived yet. And I don't want to buy one from ebay anymore. So is there any trustworthy site where I can buy one? Have you looked into Amazon? I don't see there being an issue with shipping to the Philippines but I do not know, worth a shot.

I purchased that one off of Amazon because my battery died so hard I was getting 15 minutes off of a full charge and needed faster shipping.
Turned out identical to the one in my phone but it lasts about as well as the factory battery does.
I would have purchased the cheaper option under normal circumstances, but was in dire need of a fast delivery.
Just watch prying your phone open, the phone itself damages easy. In retrospect, I would have purchased the plastic pry tool as well since my miniature flatheads produced some unsightly divots on the outside of my phone.

First off, I'm not sure if this is appropriate forum for this, but since it is technically a phone piece, it may fall under Accessories. If not, the mods can move it to the relevant forum.

Hey all. My wife'x Nexus 5 screen was shattered by a small vase falling on it.
I'm searching around on ebay and amazon and the price is coming out to about $80-100 for a screen/digitizer replacement.
I'm posting here to confirm if anyone else has any place they can recommend. My primary fear is that the replacement I might receive may be a cheaper/bad LCD (viewing angle wise). Is that a possibility? Or are all the replacements basically the same screen?

I usually get it off eBay. But there was this one seller on Amazon that I used for my N4 that was in the US and quick. Don't know if they are selling a N5 display but PM me and I can give you the deets. $80-100 is about the going rate on eBay at this time. I actually will recommend spending the extra $10-15 more for the frame included. It is a quick swap of internals at that point. Then flip the broken display up on ebay and recoup about $20 back.

Yup exactly. Really quick switch out. Just swap internals. Getting the display off of the frame is annoying since LG uses a silicon adhesive to bond the display to the frame. This makes it more resistant to heat. It is better to just sell the broken one to someone who has the time to separate all 3 components.

Ya that was the first place I saw when I initially started looking for the part but they seem to be sold out mostly and more expensive than other listings I've seen, I guess because they are OEM parts. I'll keep an eye on the site but continue looking.

I would like to order off of ebay, problem is I have zero experience ordering from dealers on ebay. What should I be looking for from sellers other than their ratings?
The pricing seems to be $1 to $50 difference for the screen + frame varying from China to the States but offer what seems to be the same product.

Nexus 5X LCD + Frame

Recently, my Nexus 5X LCD broke from the inside of the phone. The outside is flawless.
On ebay I came across this thing here, wich is the LCD+Digitizer+Frame. Basiclly, it's the whole front part withouth the motherboard and other back parts.
Do you think this is legit OEM screen and should I order it and just switch my parts with this since the only thing that is broken on mine is the LCD screen?

I don't want to use a certified LG repeair service since in my country, they charge you 4x as much for something like LCD display.

No, it isn't an OEM replacement, but if you want to replace it you olny have to switch the other parts as you said

I think you can't find oem parts on ebay because I read that oem parts are available only on LG repair service. Probably on ebay you can find only copies of the oem product but the most of the times they work well as an original part.

Have anyone personally tried any of this parts?
I need to replace LCD+Digitizer+Frame too, but I would like to buy a part that has a good feedback by someone...

I'm going to try that OEM later this month and report here. Fingers crossed for it to be good. I dont care if its OEM or not as long as it works as an OEM.

I found out that many sellers claim to sell the original LG part. Just search around for "ACQ88485501".
Do you think it is true or is it just a trick to sell the same part with an higher price...?

I ordered the part two weeks ago. It should get here tomorrow or the day after. I will post resulta when I switch the display.

Just an update; It arrived later than I anticipated, but that was not the companies fault. Anyway, the display is top grade, top notch, whatever you want to call it. It arrived in excellent condition, it works just like an original one and looks the same. The coating is properly applied and it just looks so damn gorgeous. I think it's even better than what I originaly had, but that might be due to a defective screen altogether. In summary, it worked out great for me, and I switched the whole front part of the device. So yea, my Nexus 5x is awasome again, can't wait to try 7.1.1. I ordered it from fixez.com

Yes, that is the part. I live in Croatia. The shipping was arround 30 USD for me, it cost me arround 70 USD and I bought the 16 piece precision tool pack for 9.99 USD also. If I had gone to a shop for repairs here in Croatia, it would cost me arround 140 USD, I checked, so this is a realyl cheap alternative. The parts are easy to replace. There are numerous youtube videos about it, just be gentle Good luck:laugh:

So...I polished my HWatch a little too much and wore off part of the bezel.....In my incessant searching, I found this.

I hope this helps anyone looking for a replacement bezel / screen. I purchased one myself....waiting for delivery. However, it does not come with a side button. I plan on using mine....but have no idea how to place it on the new bezel. The seller indicates one needs a professional tool, but does not specify what.
Update: They indicate that they have cases with the button. I'm looking forward to replacing my beat up one. $14 for a shiny new watch, can't be beat!

Bought a new screen due to burn in, but I can't seem to separate the screen from the frame.
I'm sure there used to be an ifixit teardown for this watch (that I followed when I changed the battery a few years ago, but it's not there anymore!
Any ideas how to get the screen out?
