That guy is me and yeah its useless although there's many signatories HTC will never listen that way. Ima remove it soon :/

although there have been [unsuccessful] attempts at a soft[ware]-unlock, the only known way(s) to unlock or s-off [gsm] one v is through a hardware solution. lg(e) tool or riff box both offer methods.

HTC won't give us S-OFF ever so forget about it. They won't even change CID if you pay em, this been asked already why not search before posting?

SuperCID and S-off can be obtained through various jtag methods: known lg(e) tool, riff box & medusa for gsm variant.

Lol I actually know what you're talking about. Clearly he doesn't. @dottat, he's referring to the processor snapdragon s4 instead of the other version with an earlier model of the processor s3 I believe. He wasn't referring to the gs4

Hello Devs, after Nvidia released Tegra 3 drivers for windows 8, does that gives possibility for a windows 8 port to be released?
Please inform me if that is illegal so I don't start working on this project.

It's nice to have something running on our phones that shouldn't, that's what this websites about lol, porting Windows RT on the HD2 was allowed, I don't see why not for the One X

I dont think that its impossible, maybe very very difficult, but not impossible.

I don't think Windows RT has been ported to any unofficial device yet. I'm not sure if it's possible since the OS itself is closed source., and drivers can only help so much. It would be interesting to see someone try, though.

[OT] Soff services online will normally hard patch the phone using a JTAG or XTC-Clip.

Another thing we should probably consider is: Will our bootloaders allow NT kernels to boot on our device? If so, wouldn't we need s-off anyway?

I think we would need s off....:/ without we cant flash any other kernel then from HTC/nvidia source etc....

Can you change the title? That mod is for the HTC One. It will brick the HTC One V if you flash it..
