Not much, but you'll save some time until your next charging.
Thanks, I saw this tweak somewhere else and last time when I was editing build prop on my P6 I've been confused why this is false...

Because some of the providers don't support fast dormancy and if you enable that you will increase battery consumption.
is there any negative state of this change?

If your provider don't support fast dormancy, you will increase battery drain, be careful with that function!

rather confused..
IMHO.. fast dormancy can consume more battery power, it has to be stay disable...
If your provider supports this function, then it's ok to stay enabled.

Since the old settings.db does not exist on MM you can change those values with a terminal emulator or using ADB, i prefere ADB.
(in short)
write adb shell -> enter
write su -> enter
write settings put system night_mode_start_time 0 -> enter
write settings put system night_mode_end_time 1440 -> enter
According to this thread, thanks to @Mirkohmm.
Since this method won't work anymore you can try this method.
Before be sure to turn ON the night clock. (thanks to @thedid63)
With a SQLite Editor go to data/data/com.android.providers.setings/databases/settings.db and open system. Than search for
"night_mode_start_time" - set start time to 1 (1 minute)
and
"night_mode_end_time" - set end time to 1440 (1440 minutes =24 h)
Reboot and voilà

My stock rom should be deodex ? Because i can't find these 2 parameters in the system table.

I don't know wich editor you are using. At mine i hit files than data>data>com.android.providers.settings>databases>settings.db. Than hit the last option "system" and search for "night". Over here it's number 20215 and 20216. Hope that helps!

First make sure you turned on the night clock in the edge settings
Install SQlite Editor and launch and give it root permission
Then go to Settings Storage and click it to open it
Then click setting.db
The click on system
The click on the search icon in the top bar and search for night
You will get these results
night_mode_start_time
night_mode_end_time
night_mode
In start time change value to 1 (first minute of the day)
In end time change value to 1440 (last minute of the day)
Make sure night mode value is 1 (it means it is on)
Reboot and it will work
Thans to OP for sharing this info

Update for MM in OP
Does anyone remember how to do this on Kitkat roms by any chance? I can't find original the thread anymore for doing this on Kitkat which from what I remember was a little different, I looked at my settings.db with an sqlite editor but "night mode" was nowhere to be found. I know there's a way to do it because I had done it before and had the night clock on permanently for awhile but I just lost it after doing a factory reset, and now for some reason I can't find the thread I used before. So anyway if anyone knows how I'd appreciate the help because I got used to it and now I really miss it lol. Thanks

Thank you!! I actually saw that link and I don't know why but for some reason I just assumed it was another thread on how to do it on Marshmallow! That's what I get for assuming I guess lol. Thanks again man that was driving me forkin nuts because I thought I remembered posting in that thread (about whether screen burn in could possibly be an issue.. and I guess I answered my own question on that one lol), and thanks but yeah I had my night clock turned on but it was still nowhere to be found under settings.db. Anyway I'll follow that thread and I'm sure I'll have it rockin again here in no time. [emoji16] [emoji16]

Hey there! I've done exactly what you said, but......there's a minor problem
I got most of the things I desired like the cable charging notification, the name of the Wi-Fi connected to under the Wi-Fi icon and Outdoors mode
But the problem is, the Wi-Fi icon and the Screen Rotation icon aren't as bright as, for example - the Sound icon, and unexpectedly, even the Gear (for Settings) has disappeared!!
Would've posted a screenshot but this is my very first post actually
It would be appreciated if you could help me! Will be waiting for your reply

I used this feature when i was in EMUI 4.1 by the firmware finder [tweaks in setting] works like a charm but now they removed the Tweaks in their app
This is hard to do in EMUI. But you'll get this option natively in custom ROMs.

This option doesn't exist - but it's a bad option anyway. It totally wastes screen space...
Better use LGs "dark/customized" option for statusbar in conjunction with the app "Nacho Notch — Notch Hider". This way the notification icons etc. will use the space next to the notch and the statusbar is hidden by the black color. (just like it should be! )

it's not a waste of space, it for when you have over 3 notification icons and you can't see them because of the notch
