Good afternoon,
I see a few people want the 64bit version of the emulator so here it is re packaged into an installer with shorcuts on start menu and desktop for your convenience.
I have also made a 32bit installer to go along with it.
Both the file sets are pulled from the very latest developer suite.
The msi file is 76meg and has the image pre loaded into it.
Just double click to install once installed click the Shortcut on your desktop or start menu.
Enjoy

strange! It should be a double click, once you typed that command did you get the gui installer?
Installing using not command promt gives an error, nothing will be copied/extracted/installed.

Do you get the same issues if you right click it and run as administrator?
That option isn't available, I think this is because it is a .msi installer. When reaching the last screen of the installer the button to start the progress has the shield that requires an admin typing his pass, so I gave the pass, but after a while the error shows up:

I get the same error except I never get prompted for an admin password- it just starts 'copying files' and then flashes to that scren.
Try copying a couple of the smaller size microsoft items from my list, I am on server 2008 r2 on this machine and it works fine...
here's what mine looks like.
I have just installed it with no issues with the below installed programs/ ms addons, have you tried changing the installation directory, do you have administrator rights on the machine?
I also have the same error as previously posted.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. I will try playing around with my currently installed MS Visual Studio etc (I have MS Visual Studio 2010 installed).

The only thing I can think of is some issue with admin rights, only a few out of the many many downloads of the x64 verison have had issues.
Turn User Account Control off (UAC) and install. I tried on win7 home p. and works well

I tried many different methods to get the x86 installer working on Windows 7 Professional x86 and nothing worked except that specific method:
Run msiexec /i setupx86.msi from an Admin Command Prompt.
I tried all the methods mentioned, even extracted the .msi contents and still nothing worked, but that Admin Command Prompt and that one command got it working. Not sure what the issue actually is, and I ever tried disabling UAC and then executing it from the Admin Command Prompt and still no go - only that specific method worked in my situation.

It doesn't work at all for me, even after following this command.
I do get the installer window, and click next a few times, get the status bars and click finish.
However, there are no shortcuts on my desktop or in my start menu, and it hasn't copied any files.
I tried using the default install directory and D:\Software\WP7Emu\ but neither worked.
I am on Win 7 Prof x64, and downloaded the x64 version from megaupload
I've found the solution of this problem, try to go to compatibility assistant of Windows 7 and launch the program, after that the installation work perfectly
Very good!

Hi,
I'm having the exact same issue. I tried it with win8pro and xpPro(both x86) and got the same behaviour at every try:
After the update starts it took some havy load on CPU and HDD transfer for a few seconds while a cab file appears in the working directory. After that the CPU/HDD load reduces to 0 and the cab file disappears again. About half a minute later the "application not responding" error pops out.
I'm pretty frustrated right now. Can anyony help?

Make sure you followed step 4. Its very important. Set the uptestex and windowsenabler properties to "windows xp compatibility" and "run as administrator". Install lg drivers and msxml parser. I think reboot would be nice.
I didnt get any errors trying this guide on windows xp home, 7, and windows 8 pro (all 32bit). Try disabling your antivirus for a while.

How can I copy the files on my deivce?
Anyone can help me to fix this problem?
you probably need to update your recovery img version, easiest way is using fastboot or a toolkit, like wugfresh toolkit(Google wugfresh Gnex it will come right up)
you need to install the drivers.for windows to recognize galaxy nexus as attached, wugfresh can do THAT for you as well.
although I'm a proponent of using manual methods like adb/fastboot, wugfresh can help get you started in the right direction
Wugfresh
First of all , thanks for quick reply.
You're right. My recovery img is old and didn't update since about a year and a half.
I install wugfresh but when I run the program, that doesn't recognize the device.
When I connect the mobile to laptop, I heard a sound about plug a USB Device.
The Mobile phone is on bootloader....
and becaue I didn't know device build number, I click Auto Detect Device + Build....
But doesmn't happen anything
if you aren't worried about losing any user data, first flash a factory stock image which will put device back to out of box state, then you can pick which build and such,
or, before that, do a quick google search for "xda, galaxy nexus, windows 8.1 driver issue" I think I recall someone having similar issues and getting them resolved and the thread should have the info you need in it.
let us know if you find the info you need.
Wugfresh
I Use wugfresh (Nexus Root Toolkit)
Before that , I installed the adb drivers and also change my o.s from Win8 to win XP.
but I see this error while repairing my phone : (the attached file)
I'm so confused...
I didn't what to do...
Install the adb and fastboot drivers.
EDIT: Use the "Full Driver Installation Guide"

I'm trying....
I Couldn't
I even try this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
It doesn't recognise my phone.
I feel dumb!
Let me explain my problem by photos :
I run nexus Root Toolkit
In advanced utilities , click on "Launch"
In apperaed window , "Boot Temporary" , I click on "Custom Recovery", then I must browse the file "openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-maguro.img"
After browse the file , this Message Appear : Reebooting your device into bootloader . . .
Then after afew secondes , This message blowes my mind : Fastboot Device Was Not Found . . . .
Also in other parts of Nexus Root Toolkit I have the same problem....
Is there anyway to solv ethis problem?
I would recommend removing the drivers that are installed. it seems that the wrong ones, or maybe something just "borked" with them, happened on original install.
when you plug in device, go into device manager, should be able to right click on your device and uninstall drivers.
then I recommend putting device in bootloader mode. plug in, and see if it installs the drivers automatically for you.
there should also be an.option in wug to "install drivers" I think.
(in your pictures, window on the right side, "Full Driver install....", long button on the top)
::::TRY THIS FIRST::::
I just noticed that you have chosen ICS for model/OS. it is probably trying to use the old fastboot binary for it or something, change that and try 4.2 or even 4.3, you could also try 4.1 but I'm thinking the 4.2or4.3 choice will work for you.
---------- Post added at 01:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:17 PM ----------
do you KNOW how to manually put phone into bootloader/fastboot mode correct?
if not, from powered down state, hold power, volume up, and volume down, all at the same time for a few seconds, it will vibrate, and bring up the bootloader.
I know on my machine, I befoee had to uninstall drivers, then plugged device in while in bootloader mode, and waited as it installed automatically the correct drivers needed.

no problem at all buddy! happy to help!
can I ask what exactly solved it do you know?
also, if issue is resolved, if you can edit your initial post's thread title to say [SOLVED] in front so others know the issue is resolved and others looking for the info provided with the same issue can easily find the fix/steps if needed.
(I don't know if you use tapatalk for forum browsing, but you may have to edit the title of thread via web browser)
if you need anything else feel free to ask here or PM!
I think my problem returns to install drivers.
After your last guide, I removed drivers and for install drivers, I use from Nexus Root Toolkit....
Just one Question :
For last time : How Can I add "Solved" to topic title?
I didn't find any button to do that...

go to your initial post, there should be button below it that says "edit" or similar. click that, then you probably have to click "go advanced" or "advanced edit" or something like that, I think then you will be able to edit the post title.
if not it's not THAT important
A couple of weeks ago, I bricked my A3000-F. I finally found a way to unbrick it.
Note: I also put the link for the A3000-H.
Requirements: A Windows computer, a program like WinZip to decompress files, a cable to connect your tablet to your computer, and (duh) your tablet.
Warning: If anything goes wrong, I am not responsible for it. In addition, all data on your tablet is already lost, or will be lost after this tutorial.
Download at the bottom of the post the required rar file for either your A3000-F or A3000-H.
Step 1: Decompress A3000 fix package.rar. Inside you should ind 3 comppressed files called R1 DRV, R1 Flash_Tool, and R1 target_bin. Decompress these files.
Step 2: Navigate to Control Panel and click on Device Manager. In device manager, go to Other Devices, expand it, and make sure MT65xx Preloader is there.

Step 11: If prompted, click accept.
Step 12: Click next, then wait a little, you will get a success message, then close. After this, close all open windows.

Step 20: Now tick the check-box next to DA DL All With Check Sum Then Click Download.
Step 21: Wait. A pinkish bar will appear at the bottom, then a yellow one, then a green circle will appear.
Step 22: Unplug your tablet from your computer and plug it in to a normal charger. Turn it on. When you first turn it on, it will be in chinese. Just tap on the first option and change to the desired language.

Sorry for being offline for so long, I've been studying for exams. Anyways I saw your reply. So, for the model F, here's two download links for the fix package:
https://docs.google.com/uc?export=download&confirm=6K2G&id=0B2u6Nx1AQ_66Tzhrek05Q0lPWms and https://www.dropbox.com/l/0qB1QGrDHKDKZJed6U9Z5s
And for the model H there's this download link for the fix package:
https://mega.co.nz/#!3M1U3CCA!Jo5LDEKYeFLfjdCZNX1JVhkrbFcJJLgf7LL-f1r152g
If you find that the guide is complicated, I'm happy to remake one, now that I have a newer English pc. Hope this helps!

The files are there, it just may be a little hard to find them. Anyways, I'm repackaging the files, and it should be up and running in about an hour!
I just un-bricked my A3000F, but it took a while. First you have to open up your tablet. And that is tricky.
Because of some reason my tablet lost contact with "SP flash tool" and as reckless as I'am, I decided to open it. And some how unplug the battery. Totally forgetting that there is a thing called Google these days, I started tearing and ripping, like monkey's do when they want to open an nut. Although I skipped the part where they use a rock.
And I opened it..........:victory:
I disconnected the battery and I started to run the "sp flash tool" from this post. And to every bit of my surprise, it found the tablet. Now I wasn't there yet, because now it gave me error code 8038.
Wondering what this code meant, I now remembered my ones good friend Google, and I started praying on my keyboard. Oh dear Google, holy is thy name. Please would you show me would you give me the answer to error code 8038. But like god has forsaken mankind a long long time ago, Google din't answer. Instead now he showed me how to open a Lenovo A3000. Thinking by my self, why Google why. And remembering the good old day's when Google showed me how to flash the ROM of my X-box 360, with just some bits and peaces. I started to feel some anger boiling inside of me, and I threw down my mouse. Accidentally pushing the format switch, and some how OK. And because my usb wiggled a bit, it started the format. And I was greeted by a green circle. So I thought to myself, what if I do the same with update. And again, a green circle. And after that i did the download, and it worked. My A3000F is up and running again. So this is what you have to do
-open your Lenovo A3000F after you removed the (15) screws.
-Start at the bottom on the side of the volume button and work your way around it.
-When opened it, there's a little white square on the left under your lence. Rip that out.
- And start sp flash tool. First format it, then update it and then you can download your stock firmware.
Good luck.......

Thanks for the dload link.
I was able to follow until step 21. From here on, instead of yellow bar after pinkish bar, red bar appear with error. ]
1st picture is when I clicked "Firmware Upgrade"; 2nd pic is "Download" ; 3rd pic is the error before my tab won't turned on.
Any helpful inputs will be appreciated. Thanks
The A3000 gives you that error message after unsuccessfully flashing the rom? If so, hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button, follow my guide on installing CWM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/lenovo-a3000/general/custom-recovery-img-t2893011), and then just reboot into recovery and wipe your data partition.

I couldn't press the "I'm feeling lucky' buttom because it seems t be stucked on that page. After restart my tab, it stucked at lenovo logo. Than I pressing volume and power button, it stucked in "meta mode".
After flashing , it fails and my tab couldn't turn on anymore = no display at all. Than I follow this guide till step 21 and flash tool pop up pic 1 and pic 2
Unfortunately, I'm stumped. I don't know how to fix that. Sorry
EDIT: I'm going to assume this method would also allow you to cancel an update/prevent installation of an unwanted build. I have not tested this, however I can't imagine why it wouldn't work, so long as you have not started the installation.
If you're like me and cant update your device any longer because the Temporary Files are filling up your device memory, then follow this guide and hopefully you'll be downloading the latest update in no time.
Problem: Windows Update downloads a preview build but never installs it, then begins downloading the next, and the next, until eventually it has eaten up all of your phone memory. I'm not sure if this is a bug that occurs on specific builds, devices, or under odd circumstances. Regardless of how and why it happens, its EXTREMELY inconvenient and prevents you from updating your device any further. It would seem that the only solution is to Hard Reset your device, but I was not content with doing this, so I dug deep and found a solution.
Cure: Manually delete the temporary files using a PC, Windows Explorer, and a third party app called Unlocker.
LINK for Unlocker: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/unlocker.html (I'm not sure how much this really helped as I never seen any direct interaction between the program and the files being deleted, however I was unsuccessful in deleting the files previously WITHOUT it, so I assume it is necessary.) During installation, choose Advanced and uncheck the Toolbar installation if you don't want that installed.
After searching through the phone's system files, I managed to find where the temporary files are stored, and eventually i was able to delete them.
Pre-Requisites: A PC, Full FileSystem Access on your device, and Unlocker (deletes files Windows says are undeleteable).
1. After installing Unlocker, go to your Start Menu and run the Unlocker Assistant. Then start Unlocker, navigate to the following directory in the window that appears: This PC\Windows phone\Phone\Data - Click OK and the box closes.
2. Navigate to the following directory in Windows Explorer:
This PC\Windows phone\Phone\Data\PROGRAMDATA\SOFTWAREDISTRIBUTION\Download
Note: Be patient while this directory loads; there's over 1000 folders within it.
3. Highlight the folders all at once or in groups. I chose to do it in groups for performance reasons.
4. After Highlighting the folders, PRESS the DELETE button on your keyboard. I say press DELETE because right-clicking them and bringing up the context menu could cause Windows Explorer to hang for a long time. I found simply pressing the DELETE button instantly brings up the confirmation window without any performance problems.
5. After all folders have been deleted, disconnect your device and go back to your Storage app to check that the Temporary Files says 0bytes.
6. Go to Updates and click Retry. Your phone should now look for and begin downloading the latest build available to you depending on the ring you've selected.
7. Congratulations! You're Done!
nice

Can't Delete but Finally
Tried on Microsoft Lumia 540
with Interop tools (InteropToolsApp_Beta_1.6_0.0.150.0_arm)
Used interop unlock Full Fill System Access
Thanks for the post :highfive:
But,
First I failed with unlocker.
it was always saying "you can't delete this file blah blah blah
I don't know what I were doing but this worked for me
I was trying to install project my screen app.
I installed the app but the device didn't ask me to project the screen.
So,
1. I removed my device from Control panel > Devices and Printers
then I search for my device driver in Device manager but I couldn't find it.
2. I installed Project my screen app and after re-plugging the device it worked successfully
3. I uninstalled Project my screen app and also the drivers in Device manager .
4. Then I plugged in my device and checked again to delete those files and BOOM it worked !
now this is how my device shows

Thanks for the update bruh, :highfive: I'm just a noob for windows
The easiest way to delete the pending files from "Preview Build Updates" is setting the date 50 years forward and restart the phone. No hack is required.
