I'm looking for a way to disable ringtone volume control with the volume buttons. I want to change the media volume even when I'm not using an app. Sometimes I want to change the volume of the media before I start a video but I often change accidentally the volume of my ringtone which really annoys me. Thanks for reading!
Download Wanam Exposed and exposed installer.
Enable wanam module on exposed installer and activate framework
From Wanam Exposed go to volume options
Enable auto expand volume pannel.

I'm on Android 4.1.2.
Wanam Xposed requires at least 4.2.
Is there any other way?
I'm using Simplistic framework 3.6 and there isn't just yet an 4.3 version.

Oops..you didn't mentioned you are still on 4.1.2 where 4.3 is far far better. Anyway, sorry mate, I forgot the settings of 4.1.2

I was running jedi xp14 an it had a feature that you could hold the volume up button and it would change to the next song and volume down button would go to previous song. Since im on cleanrom 3.0 se it doesn't have that feature. Its there an app or tweek that would allow that? I listen to music 9 ho7rs straight at work and its a hassle trying to double click the call button it doesn't work all the time and its annoying.
Ok all you need is actually the xposed installer,, then tweak box to tweak the vol to skip in your Rom. Just install xposed,, then install/update first. Then check off tweak box in the modules section. Done
Here's the installer:

Hey guys,
If you're unfamiliar with Xposed Framework Mod, see this thread
[FRAMEWORK] Xposed Framework Mod
In a nutshell, it's a way to customize your device without (or in addition to) flashing ROMs or modifying apks.
Once the framework is installed, there are tons of modules that users have created.
Xposed Modules
Edit: 11/30
Final version of Xposed Framework Mod v2.4 by Rovo89
Download Available here >> http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk
IMPORTANT NOTES
• A lot of these modules won't work yet for our devices.
• You MUST be ROOTED
• While generally less intrusive than flashing ROMs or Themes, proceed with some degree of caution when testing.
• Remove Xposed? See disabler at bottom of this post.
• I'm only providing links. I've had no part in the development of this. Specific credits are given in each of the threads linked.
With that, I'm curious to see which are working and which aren't, and will keep track below.
If you'd like to pitch in, let us know which modules are working/not working for you and maybe we can track specific issues if they arise. I'll throw in links as I can, but definitely search the Modules thread for the most recent updates.
Some Modules can be downloaded within the Xposed Framework App under "Download."

This is great - thanks - I had tried earlier versions of the Exposed AP last night and any ap I tried to use (like Wannam Exposed) was blocked by Knox - I think it was Knox blocking it -
anyway - I saw your post today - installed the beta and then installed Wannam Exposed - and viola! Blue Icons in Status Bar, Clock, Quick Settings Icon - the only thing I have not been able to change so far is the Battery - I tried a couple of Battery APs with the Exposed Ap and none worked yet - but, it sure is nice to have a little themeing possibility - thanks for the heads up - greatly appreciated.
No luck with battery icons here either. Extended power menu is a no go as well. Anytime you long press it, phone reboots.

Doesn't seem to work for me on latest android 4.3 (Samsung base) on S4 I9505.
see error in the attached:
Version 2.2 was working fine on Android 4.2.2
Update:- Works fine after installing SuperSU. It happened that the rom does not have supersu app installed.
Cheers
X blast tools, some of the functions work. Extended power and battery mods, still a no go. Some of the other stuff works fine though.

Most of the Wanam settings are not working. And for now, I wouldn't mess with anything that changes your power menu options.
I'll put up a list of confirmed ones tonight that I've tested.

I'll link it. It's in the op of the xposed framework. It will disable all of xposed in recovery. If you ever have problems. Bottom of the first post it's attached.

The 4 way boot in your screenshot is not the power menu (holding the power button); that window is launched by pushing the refresh button within the Wanam app.
The status bar theming though, is interesting. Haven't seen that working yet.
Hello I am wondering what kind of modules is everyone using and to what extent are they being taken to? Give us tips and tricks most people don't know about. Using exposed framework I heard wanam module works with note 3. Does it? Let this page be for just that. I searched around but didn't find anything, found out people are in fact using exposed framework but their Is no real "how to" unless in the original thread. I want to know what works and what doesn't. Share with us your experience?

You need to install the Xposed Framework before you can use a module. To install the framework go to the Xposed framework thread instructions are in there as for modules there just apks find the one you want and install them and then activate them if they don't work just uninstall them like a normal apk.
I myself am using Xblast Tools
Wanam Xposed
App Settings
Kit Kat Toast
All Notifications Expanded
YouTube ad away
Unicon
And some others I can't remember. I have the N9005 but these should work on the N900T

There should be some buttons combination, like power button + home button for android 4.3 (stock one), and the older combination was power button + vol.down.
I've checked on CM-REMIX (android 4.4.2) and the 2nd combination of buttons works.
There's always a button combination for a screen shot (since android 4.0+ I think).

As you didn't mention what ROM you are running I assume you are running the stock firmware, Samsung's TouchWiz video player got a built-in button to take video shots.

The method mentioned above should work, me personally I use a module for Xposed Installer called Xposed Gesture Navigation and from the settings choose the gestures you want, and their action.
If you have any question concerning Xposed Installer or Xposed Gesture Navigation let me know
