HTC desire running Cmod 7 issues.

Okay I'm running the latest cyanogen rom and all is well besides the fact I've lost some contacts and am unable to store new ones on the sim.
Is there a way around this?

yeppers, use your google account for contacts storage, you will never have a problem

Google account automatically syncs with your phone, no need to hassle with contacts backup/restore Also, it can be used to backup your installed apps automatically (without settings restored tho)

Pendlebum I downloaded an application called contacts2sim and it will store any numbers you have stored to your phone to your sim. Its a bit of an inconvenience but it works

Problem with adding and syncing account

I can't add a facebook account in setting->account and sync, therefore I can't sync my contact with my facebook account like Whatsapp. Does anyone have same problem with me?Anyone can help please?
I'm using stock rom 4.0.1, galaxy nexus[GSM].

Nearly all have a facebook sync option built in
Another option is HaxSync, a paid app that syncs high res facebook photos

I have flasshed a ROM called eagles blood mod, based on 4.03 and i can sync with facebook. However, i cant see the contact pics yet.

Im on aokp and it shows up

The solution in those roms gives low-res pictures though apparently. You might want to look at the Haxsync app on the market.

[Q] Facebook Messenger as SMS client

Does anybody know how to enable the facebook messenger app access to sms? I would like to use the chat head functionality with sms/mms messages but the option to enable sms/mms is not available on my LGOG E971 running Root Box 4.2.2

Don't you need the full Facebook Home for that? Which is only available one a few HTC handsets do far.

@cfoucher I'm having the very same issue on stock OG 4.1.2 I would love to have the chat heads for sms but from the looks of things the OG is one of the few phones that is not supported yet. From what I've read, the RAZR and OG do not have the sms setting in Facebook messenger. Any one know when we might be getting it? (rogers-canada)

Hello! The display of my Xperia S has broken and now i cannot unlock the phone. How can i unlock еру phone from google account or PC (USB) or any other (exept hard reset) for access to my data and contacts? Please help! It`s very important!

Unfortunately, my contacts have not synchronized with google account before and contacts not so important for me now. I need any way to unlock the phone for access to all my data. I tryed to connect by HDMI to TV as a display, but it does not work now too (no HDMI signal before unlock).

Take it to radio shack. They will fix it for $50

Lg G4 can't save new contacts

Hi.
My problem is that sometimes it looks like I saved properly my new contact and after that the contact isn't in my contact list. I use LG G4 Android 6.0
The default option is to save in google account.
