I'd like to know if there is any soft to dial a number over bluetooth...i heard about voice dial...what is it? how does it work? any other soft...???
Is there a better voice dialing app than the Vingo that comes on this phone? I use a bluetooth and I have not been able to get it to recognize most of my contacts and end up having to manually dial.
This is a relatively small problem but it's driving me bonkers! So I have the Note II, rooted and equipped with SkyNote 9.0 Rom (Jellybean 4.1.2 - love it by the way!) and recently got the LG HBS-730 bluetooth headset. The story is that I can press the call button on the headset and it does a voice dial as specified in the manual.
The problem is I would like to strictly use Google Now for voice dialing and I have set up the necessary options to do so, but when I tried to deactivate the native voice dialer, I couldn't because I can't find the app. The application manager has no trace of a voice dialer. I have also looked in my folders as best I can to locate it but I can't. Does anyone have a clue where the native voice dialer is so I can shut it off or delete it?

I know this is not a rom issue, because exact same thing has been happening on my previous rom as well. My Google Voice is set up to make outgoing calls via Google Voice for international calls only. What's happening is - Voice only intercepts calls, when the phone # is punched directly on the dial pad of the Phone app. If i try to make international phone call, by clicking the number in my Contacts, or another app tries to dial international number directly, bypassing the dial pad - Google Voice doesnt intercept these calls and my phone dials those numbers directly, resulting in large bills from T-Mobile for international calls without a plan.
Does anyone know if this is Google Voice issue or Android issue and how to fix this?

I have a Kindle Fire 5th gen installed with Google hangouts dialer. Whenever someone called, the Hangouts pop ups. However, my Fire phone with hangouts dialer never does the same thing, even when I have the app open. In other words, it can't seem to receive any call, only making calls. Is there a fix for this? Like making change to the build.prop or something?

Nevermind, I just needed to turn on the settings for it to ring on incoming call. Silly me.
